2. CONVENTION 1:
ARTIST NAME/LOGO
Top of the Digipak
Conventionally large and striking
Black backround with white upper
case bubble font
Signifying that darker pop genre
4. CONVENTION 3:
TRACK LISTING
Track listing on back panel below
some logo art
Sans–serif upper case white font
on black background
Not numbered
No specific bonus tracks
5. CONVENTION 4: EDITIONS,
BONUSES, EXTRAS
There isn’t a sticker on the
front panel with any editions,
bonuses or extras
Quite unconventional
6. CONVENTION 5:
SMALL PRINT
On back panel
We can see the copyright and phonorecord
symbols
There are the Universal and Saiko logos in
the bottom right
Universal Music Group are one of the big 3
music groups dominating the industry
7. CONVENTION 6: BARCODES
There is a barcode on the back panel
It is in the bottom left corner next to the small print
9. CONVENTION 8: INNER PANELS FLOW
I couldn’t find pictures of the inner panels
Inner panel flow is when the inner panels have a link to them,
often like a picture which is spread over the inner panels, or I’d
assume in Lorde’s case, just the dusty black background
10. CONVENTION 9: SPINE
This contains the artist name and the album title
The artist name is conventionally bigger or in a different font
than the album title, so this example is unconventional
It also has the catalogue number
The spine helps the external panels link
