RATIONALE FOR MAINTAINING ā€œLEARNING
ARTICULATION PORTFOLIOā€
ā€œManā€™s main task in life is to give birth to himself,
to become what he potentially is.
The most important product of his effort is his own personality.ā€
-Erich Fromm
Dear Students,
In this fast-paced world, one finds it difficult to spare time to stop and reflect on various life
events. When this happens, it is possible that one feels that all the efforts had gone in the wrong
direction and one is still far away from his or her goal. The art of achieving goal lies in
understanding our self, building on our strengths and overcoming weaknesses. This facilitates the
process of self-awareness, self-acceptance and progression towards self-reform- a key to
Happiness. Through experiential training, Behavioral Science Course would facilitate movement
towards self-reform and develop better interpersonal skills to achieve personal and professional
success.
The LAP is an integral part of the Behavioral Science Course. It is a tool for introspection, self-
exploration and self-governance. It involves aninitiative to reflect on the discussions and activities
during the various workshops of Behavioral Science Courses. It also involves writing down
personal learning during class exercises and discussions.
This Learning Articulation Portfolio may cover following information as a self-report:
ā€¢ Personal self-profile at the time of joining the course.
ā€¢ Your understanding of course content.
ā€¢ Self-rating against personal enhancement skills
ā€¢ Difficulties and obstacles in your personal development and learning the application
of thesubject.
ā€¢ Experiences which one feel are relevant to your training for personal and professional
enhancement (specifically during the training period)
ā€¢ Assessment of own self as an excellent professional after the training through Self-
Rating, Interventions and Self-Profiling.
LEARNING ARTICULATION
PORTFOLIO
BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE
This Portfolio works as an assessment and evaluation tool for self-knowledge and will further
help you develop the ability to:
ā€¢ Recognize the uniqueness and expression of yourself and that of others
ā€¢ Inculcating the ability to accept self and others
ā€¢ Communicate the awareness to yourself and others
ā€¢ Monitor events in your life and make decisions for the present and future.
ā€¢ Realize your true strength & potential for Success.
For successful completion of the Behavioral Science programmed, you are required to write about
your experiences and learning from each activity and discussion during all workshops in this
portfolio. Writing the portfolio will help in inculcating the learning and bringing positive change
in your behavior and personality.
Your Personal Portfolio will be reviewed at the end of each semester till the completion of the
Programmed. Self-Assessment, Self-Analysis, Synthesis, Focus, Exploration, Honest Expression,
Initiative and Consistency are some elements that will help you to maintain this Personal portfolio
and enhance Behavioral Skills for success in life.
Wishing you a great insightful learning experienceā€¦!

Unleashing Self
(Entry Level)
I describe myself as: a hardworking and passionate person ready. I am also humble and believe in helping
others during the time of need. I am meticulous and straightforward.
If I could do anything for work, no matter the skills I do or donā€™t have, then I will try and learn what I lack
and then come back to work on it.
If money didnā€™t matter, I would spend most of my time working for the people in need and visit my dream
destination.
But considering present situations I aspire to become best version of myself and establish my dream
business.
My perfect day starts with doing exercise and drinking warm water and ends with doing evening walk and
talking to friends and sometimes watching football matches.
Something Iā€™ve wanted to change in my life is to stop over caring about someone and to think about myself
as well.
The last training, I participated in was an internship during my graduation days.
A habit I failed to remove from my life is to overthink.
One skill that I always wanted to learn is, to be a professional football Player.
NCC training is something that I always wish to do, but donā€™t have time.
My greatest strengths are time management and to work calmly under lot of pressure. I am determined
person to achieve my goals and have ability to work effectively.
And I will use it this year to get placed in a multinational company.

I draw most energy by doing mentally stimulating exercise.
I overcame my last fear by doing it repeatedly.
A person I admire most is My Father, because he always motivates me to work harder and not look back in
life. He taught me to learn from your own mistakes.
A book that inspired me the most is How to make friends and influence people, Because the author
explained this skill by doing surveys and talking directly with great personalities.
I expect following three leanings from the behavioral science course 1) Enhance positive attitude.
2) Identifying fake friends 3) Help people work it out for themselves

MAPPING MY LEARNING JOURNEY
(At the end of the course- semester wise)
I) Behavioral Science Course has helped me: to understand the behavior of
a human being and to improve the quality of life . It has helped me to see
how heuristics, biases, and framing can lead us to make ā€œirrationalā€
decisions.
II) Behavioral Skills that I inculcated in my Personality: I have inculcated
lot of skills in my personality like-
1) I try to be positive most of the time and it has helped me to take less
tension in life.
2) I think the consequences before taking any big decision.
3) My listening skills have improved and I have become an active
listener.
4) I have become better at maintaining relationships.
5) I have got a better understanding of people around me.
III) Key learning (based on class activities, role plays, discussions, analysis
etc.):
1) To handle the conflicts very well.
2) To maintain interpersonal relationships.
3) Try to negotiate in a better way.
4) To have positive attitude and keepcalm.
IV) My Difficulties & Confusions in learning & application of behavioral
skills
It is very difficult to apply the theoretical knowledge into practical
knowledge. Sometimes it is difficult to use these concepts in real life as
the situations that we read about and what we face truly differs to a
great extent.
LEARNING ARTICULATION
PORTFOLIO
BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE
V) What did I do well (Both inside & outside the class):
I have learnt lot of things and used the theoretical knowledge into practical
knowledge. I have started pre planning things and tasks well in advance so
that I donā€™t face any difficulty later. I have maintained healthy relationship
with my friends and family. I have learnt to adapt myself in every
environment.
VI) Shortcomings I perceived about myself:
1) I overthink a lot and take lot of tension about what other people
would be thinking about me.
2) I donā€™t feel good when the outcome doesnā€™t favor my way.
3) Sometimes I speak without thinking what another person would feel
about me.
VII) How my strengths are restricted by my shortcomings:
I think about negative outcomes before coming to any conclusion and
keepthinking what other would think about me.
VIII) My initiatives to overcome such shortcomings:
My initiative to overcome such shortcomings is to think positively and do
take all the decisions in a calm way.

Unleashing Self
(Exit Level- Last semester of the program)
I have improved in a lot of different areas. I have always prioritized my work and myself in the past, over
my team members. After studying this course, I am able to like myself better and started to have a positive
mindset, this will help me succeed in my life.
I got there by utilizing my greatest strength through building confidence and leadership, work more on the
skill of interpersonal skills and being positive, and start learning how to build long term relationships and
being positive in the entire difficult situation. I cultivated these skills by saying ā€˜noā€™ to negative thinking
about life.
The things that have robbed me of happiness in the past, that I will say ā€˜noā€™ to this year are lack of patience
and anger issues. When I need support to stay on track, I will rely on being positive and have patience, I
will be confident and a happy soul. This gets me closer to become successful in life and to achieve my
desire goals.

  • 3. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE RATIONALE FOR MAINTAINING ā€œLEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIOā€ ā€œManā€™s main task in life is to give birth to himself, to become what he potentially is. The most important product of his effort is his own personality.ā€ -Erich Fromm Dear Students, In this fast-paced world, one finds it difficult to spare time to stop and reflect on various life events. When this happens, it is possible that one feels that all the efforts had gone in the wrong direction and one is still far away from his or her goal. The art of achieving goal lies in understanding our self, building on our strengths and overcoming weaknesses. This facilitates the process of self-awareness, self-acceptance and progression towards self-reform- a key to Happiness. Through experiential training, Behavioral Science Course would facilitate movement towards self-reform and develop better interpersonal skills to achieve personal and professional success. The LAP is an integral part of the Behavioral Science Course. It is a tool for introspection, self- exploration and self-governance. It involves aninitiative to reflect on the discussions and activities during the various workshops of Behavioral Science Courses. It also involves writing down personal learning during class exercises and discussions. This Learning Articulation Portfolio may cover following information as a self-report: ā€¢ Personal self-profile at the time of joining the course. ā€¢ Your understanding of course content. ā€¢ Self-rating against personal enhancement skills ā€¢ Difficulties and obstacles in your personal development and learning the application of thesubject. ā€¢ Experiences which one feel are relevant to your training for personal and professional enhancement (specifically during the training period) ā€¢ Assessment of own self as an excellent professional after the training through Self- Rating, Interventions and Self-Profiling.
  • 4. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE This Portfolio works as an assessment and evaluation tool for self-knowledge and will further help you develop the ability to: ā€¢ Recognize the uniqueness and expression of yourself and that of others ā€¢ Inculcating the ability to accept self and others ā€¢ Communicate the awareness to yourself and others ā€¢ Monitor events in your life and make decisions for the present and future. ā€¢ Realize your true strength & potential for Success. For successful completion of the Behavioral Science programmed, you are required to write about your experiences and learning from each activity and discussion during all workshops in this portfolio. Writing the portfolio will help in inculcating the learning and bringing positive change in your behavior and personality. Your Personal Portfolio will be reviewed at the end of each semester till the completion of the Programmed. Self-Assessment, Self-Analysis, Synthesis, Focus, Exploration, Honest Expression, Initiative and Consistency are some elements that will help you to maintain this Personal portfolio and enhance Behavioral Skills for success in life. Wishing you a great insightful learning experienceā€¦! Dr Gaganjeet Duggal Amity University, Noida ā€œThe unaware life is not worth livingā€. ā€“Socrates

  • 6. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE Unleashing Self (Entry Level) I describe myself as: a hardworking and passionate person ready. I am also humble and believe in helping others during the time of need. I am meticulous and straightforward. If I could do anything for work, no matter the skills I do or donā€™t have, then I will try and learn what I lack and then come back to work on it. If money didnā€™t matter, I would spend most of my time working for the people in need and visit my dream destination. But considering present situations I aspire to become best version of myself and establish my dream business. My perfect day starts with doing exercise and drinking warm water and ends with doing evening walk and talking to friends and sometimes watching football matches. Something Iā€™ve wanted to change in my life is to stop over caring about someone and to think about myself as well. I am determined person to achieve my goals and have ability to work effectively. And I will use it this year to get placed in a multinational company.
  • 7. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE I draw most energy by doing mentally stimulating exercise. I overcame my last fear by doing it repeatedly. A person I admire most is My Father, because he always motivates me to work harder and not look back in life. He taught me to learn from your own mistakes. A book that inspired me the most is How to make friends and influence people, Because the author explained this skill by doing surveys and talking directly with great personalities. I expect following three leanings from the behavioral science course 1) Enhance positive attitude. 2) Identifying fake friends 3) Help people work it out for themselves

  • 27. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE MAPPING MY LEARNING JOURNEY (At the end of the course- semester wise) I) Behavioral Science Course has helped me: to understand the behavior of a human being and to improve the quality of life . It has helped me to see how heuristics, biases, and framing can lead us to make ā€œirrationalā€ decisions. II) Behavioral Skills that I inculcated in my Personality: I have inculcated lot of skills in my personality like- 1) I try to be positive most of the time and it has helped me to take less tension in life. 2) I think the consequences before taking any big decision. 3) My listening skills have improved and I have become an active listener. 4) I have become better at maintaining relationships. 5) I have got a better understanding of people around me. III) Key learning (based on class activities, role plays, discussions, analysis etc.): 1) To handle the conflicts very well. 2) To maintain interpersonal relationships. 3) Try to negotiate in a better way. 4) To have positive attitude and keepcalm. IV) My Difficulties & Confusions in learning & application of behavioral skills It is very difficult to apply the theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. Sometimes it is difficult to use these concepts in real life as the situations that we read about and what we face truly differs to a great extent.
  • 28. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE V) What did I do well (Both inside & outside the class): I have learnt lot of things and used the theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. I have started pre planning things and tasks well in advance so that I donā€™t face any difficulty later. I have maintained healthy relationship with my friends and family. I have learnt to adapt myself in every environment. VI) Shortcomings I perceived about myself: 1) I overthink a lot and take lot of tension about what other people would be thinking about me. 2) I donā€™t feel good when the outcome doesnā€™t favor my way. 3) Sometimes I speak without thinking what another person would feel about me. VII) How my strengths are restricted by my shortcomings: I think about negative outcomes before coming to any conclusion and keepthinking what other would think about me. VIII) My initiatives to overcome such shortcomings: My initiative to overcome such shortcomings is to think positively and do take all the decisions in a calm way.
  • 29. LEARNING ARTICULATION PORTFOLIO BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE COURSE Unleashing Self (Exit Level- Last semester of the program) I have improved in a lot of different areas. I have always prioritized my work and myself in the past, over my team members. After studying this course, I am able to like myself better and started to have a positive mindset, this will help me succeed in my life. I got there by utilizing my greatest strength through building confidence and leadership, work more on the skill of interpersonal skills and being positive, and start learning how to build long term relationships and being positive in the entire difficult situation. I cultivated these skills by saying ā€˜noā€™ to negative thinking about life. The things that have robbed me of happiness in the past, that I will say ā€˜noā€™ to this year are lack of patience and anger issues. When I need support to stay on track, I will rely on being positive and have patience, I will be confident and a happy soul. This gets me closer to become successful in life and to achieve my desire goals. ā€œSuccess in not the final destination but a beautiful journeyā€ - Ben Sweetland
