2. I produced a questionnaire based on
music magazines. I wanted to find out
what the public thought about music
magazines in general, to help me get a
clearer idea on what features would
appeal to my target audience. I handed
my questionnaire out to 20 members of
the public, aged between 16+26. This is
the ages I will be targeting my magazine
at, so I thought getting feedback from
any of the ages above, would be useful
to me. My questionnaire only included
close questions, it’s not as time
consuming and it’s easier to categorise
them into results. I got feedback from
both genders as my music magazine will
be aimed at both males and females.
3. What gender are you?
Males
Females
As I handed my questionnaire
out to the same amount of males
to females, the feedback I got
back from both genders, I will
consider equally when coming up
with designs for my music
magazines.
4. What age group do you fit in?
16-18
19-21
22-24
I made sure I handed out my
questionnaire to all people aged in
these age groups. My magazine
will be target at people that fall
under each of these age groups, so
I wanted to get feedback from a
variety of the ages, to help me
improve on my research and
planning
5. Do you read music magazines?
Yes
No
Knowing that people from the
public aged between 16-24,
purchase music magazines, was
good news for me to receive
back, as it means that there is a
more increased chance that my
music magazine will sell and
people will take interest in it.
6. How much would you be willing to
pay for a music magazine
£2 or
less
£2-4
£4 and
over
I included a question on pricing as I
wanted to get a rough idea on the
price my target audience would be
willing to pay. The most popular price I
got in my feedback was £2-4. By
looking at this, I able to make a
suitable decision on a reasonable price
for my music magazine. I know not to
price my magazine over £4, from the
pie chart and the results I received
back. This was the least popular price
my target audience would
pay, meaning it would not be
successful if I sold it a that price.
7. I wanted to know what
would appeal most to the

will be included in music
magazines and mine. From
the results I received, I
