1. What programs did you use?
The programs I used for this task are internet explorer, adobe in design , adobe photo shop and
Microsoft word.
What tools did you use?
The tools that I used are Type tool, gradient swatch tool, zoom tool, rectangle tool, rubber, select
tool and cropping tool.
Have you learnt any new skills or used any tools you haven’t before?
Yes I have learnt new skills, I have learnt the basics on how to use adobe in design, not all of it but
just enough to create a magazine effectively and efficiently.

2. Include pictures (step by step) to get a higher grad.
Editing the picture so it has the background out of it
Click on in design to open it
I imported the picture in to in design and
put a background in. the colour is smart
and casual. Ideal for this type of genre.

3. What I did is I chose my font and what I
wanted to write before put colour in to it
I put on the finishing touches such as the
bar code the gq logo and my unique
colour scheme (purple and black) and the
purple text box.
Then I clicked on the view button so the boxes go away so it shows me the final
cover
And this is my final design!

Are you pleased with it?
Yes I am pleased with it because I didn’t copy the story’s like everybody else I made my own stories
and fonts so lots of hard work went in to it.
Does it look like the original cover?
Yes and no because it has different stories and it and a slightly different pose because I couldn’t do
the pose he was doing however the format are very similar and the positions that the text is in is
nearly enough in the same place and personally I think that I have done very well on it.
What would you change or do differently if you did this project again?
I would properly change the picture and try to do it with a water melon instead of a sandwich also I
would try and do the pose that he is going just to make it better.
