This task was edited on Sony Vegas pro.
6. Analysis of idea 1- Tia
• I believe this design would appeal to our target
audience of teens aged 16-24 as the colours are
bold and eye-catching. As well as this, there is a
large image in the centre which immediately
draws you in and the style is very young and fresh.
• I have kept the Image on all parts of the task the
same to keep it consistent and professional. The
smoke and pastel colours are also continious.
9. Analysis of idea 2- Lucy
• I believe this design would appeal to our target
audience of teens aged 16-24 as I have used bright
contrasting colours against muted backgrounds.
• I have kept the same image consistently throughout
which keeps the cd simplistic yet still eye catching.
• The contrast of the black and white and bold colours
matches our music video and so we have used the
same colour scheme and technique.
10. Design 1
• Analysis (Tia):
This poster idea is effective because
it incorporates the same pastel
colour scheme and image of our
artist in the centre which is visually
appealing.
There isn’t too many details so it
keeps to the point as well as
featuring various colours to attract
the viewers attention.
Poster suits our artist image and
genre and is modern.
11. Design 2
• Analysis (Lucy):
• After designing another poster, we
agreed as a group that this
design was less suitable to our
target group.
• Although the image stands out
against the black, it isn’t as
effective as the use of the faded
smoke background used
previously and has to much of a
deep, negative feel.
• We don’t think the poster as a whole
represents our artist effectively.
