3. Filming Equipment
This is the Cannon SL500 450D camera. We liked using
this camera because it produced great quality pictures
and video, as well as crisp sound.
The only thing we disliked about this camera was its
size. We found it a bit chunky.
To gain the best quality still shots and
video we used a tripod, this enabled us to
achieve the best shots.
4. Editing Equipment
Final Cut Express enabled us to effectively edit
our trailer using various tools such as ‘Blade’
‘Crop’. We also used the effects in the program
such as filters and fades.
We used Livetype to produce
the titles in our trailer. We found
this very effective and easy to
use whilst producing the titles.
The program Soundtrack was used to
make the soundtrack to our trailer. We
used the various loops available and
linked them together.
5. Evaluation
We used the internet site Youtube.com to
upload and share our film. This is also a way of
getting feedback via the sites comment
feature.
We used Powerpoint to produce our evaluation,
and then made screen shots of the slides and
put them into Final Cut Express. This enabled us
to produce an evaluation.
We used the animation website
xtranormal.com to produce an animated
version of our vox pop.
