During the production of a film, various technologies were used for planning, research, construction, and evaluation. Planning was done using Microsoft Word, Facebook, and WhatsApp to communicate. Research utilized websites like IMDB, BBC Film Network, YouTube, and Google to explore film techniques and genres. Final Cut Pro, iMovie, QuickTime Player, and other software were used for editing and constructing the film. The completed film and accompanying materials were shared online using Vimeo, SoundCloud, and blogs for evaluation of the project.

Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
