This case study examines Select CityWalk, an urban entertainment center in Saket, Delhi. It is a 1.3 million square foot shopping mall with three floors of office space, six screen multiplex, and serviced apartments. The mall was planned with four zones - family, youth, celebration, and an open plaza. It has three basement floors for parking and is accessible by public transport and private vehicles. Landscaping features a 4-acre outdoor plaza with fountains and seating areas. The mall provides a variety of stores, restaurants, a multiplex and services to attract visitors.

Select CITYWALK is a 1.3
million sq. ft. air-conditioned,
vibrant and upscale destination
shopping centre.This is a part of
an overall complex of 54 acres
that comprises of three floors of
office space, India’s first Six-
Screen, two Gold Class and four
Premier Class PVR Cinemas, and
approx. 1 lakh sq. ft. of Serviced
Apartments. It is centrepiece of
54-acre, well planned business
district. It is an interesting hybrid
of a European high street and an
enclosed shopping mall, with a
240m facade overlooking a
100,000 square foot of outdoor
plaza and 4-acre landscaped park.

• Comprises of 4 acres of outdoor
open plaza, for art exhibitions &
performances.

• An OAT, with a capacity of 200+
people.
• Statues & Sculptures were placed all
around the landscaping.

• More use of pots for plants.And are placed in almost all the floors to be energy-
efficient building.

• This plaza provides a pleasant and sitting for rest,
