Elante Mall in Chandigarh, opened in April 2013, is the largest mall in the city with a total retail floor area of 107,000 m2, designed by the Australian architectural firm Woodhead. The development features a retail mall, office complex, and a luxury hotel, all encompassing an area of 20 acres, with a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Elante Mall attracts an average footfall of 18,000 to 20,000 people during the week, and can rise to 30,000–40,000 on weekends.
