1. Jaws Opening Scene:
The opening scene of Jaws gives the impression that
the film follows the Enigma code narrativetheory.
This is becauseit leaves the audience thinking ‘who
or whatkilled the girl?’ The shark is not shown
meaning the audience are kept I suspenseas they
don’t know exactly whathas happened. These
images also show that the film follows the enigma
code as they are dark and blank meaning not much
is given away. This means the audience has to
concentrate to take in whatis happening in the
scene.
