deciding paint colours, this is the film at an
equal equilibrium where there is no evil to
disrupt the balance.

3. Rising action
The woman starts to receive messages on her phone of
pictures that show her the future and images of
things that are about to happen to her. This is the
rising action and the event to start building tension
as the audience are worried what the pictures are
going to show her and what is going to happen to the
woman.

4. climax
The climax in this short film would be where the
woman is in her flat and receives a picture
showing the death of someone presumed to
be her. This causes the mood to change and
make her start to panic and run out of the flat
past a jump scare of a mannequin.

5. Resolution
In this short film there isn’t much of a resolution as the
equilibrium is never fixed, there is still the presence of evil in
the ending, this sense of the plot not being resolved shocks
the audience as it breaks what is normal about narrative
structure. People expect her to either die or more likely
survive however she's still around and the monster still
inhabits the flat. The only sense of resolution at the end of
this film for the plot is no matter the woman tried to escape
and the audience was convinced no one would die, a
character still dies at the end and the plot of the future being
told is resolved.
