Handling of multidisciplinary Project & Construction activities related to National &
International project and Construction management including Modular fabrication of
Plant/unit, setup of new facilities or expansion by LEPCC, EPCC, EPC, Turnkey,
PMC & Shut down projects in existing operating assets/Greenfields since

Estimation & verifying with drawings provided by the client internally.
Floating tenders to the parties along with Bid Documents, Preparing
Comparison of PBE & TBE, negotiations with consecutive meetings, recommending
for the final internal approvals and further preparing the work orders in line with the
Client/Owner requirements/standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes but not limited to the following:
1. To lead a team and manage Construction of Oil & Gas Projects assigned
under various green fields & across the running assets.
2. To liaise with discipline managers at site and participate actively in
constructability reviews from concept stage onwards through detailed
engineering phases.

3. To co-ordinate the construction works with a focus on implementing the
project at site in the targeted .time frame by using efficient construction as
well as HSE practices.
4. Management of contracts to ensure work execution and release of payment
as per the terms of the contract from owner & also expediting for the timely
payments to the sub contractor from in house departments.
5. To control site activities and contract communications. Review of quality
plans and to minimize non compliance by contractors.
6. Familiar with latest construction practices for hydrocarbon projects. Provide
technical guidance to the Team and support the Project Construction Head.
7. To manage the Quality, NDT requirements to the best satisfaction standards
of the Client & Owner.
8. Giving various Inputs from site to Engineering in planning and cost control
aspects.
9. Continuously strive towards achieving zero accident status through
elimination of unsafe conditions by carrying out Job Risk Assessment reviews,
Hazard identification and their closure, raising employee
awareness, minimization of risk behaviours. Motivate contractors involved
through behavioural based HSE initiatives like various programs through
PULSE MODULES.
10.Monitoring the working of Emergency resources at regular intervals put in
place, to be used, in case, at site.
11.Promote and ensure feedback of project/operations experience together
with input from new technology, plus feedback from audits, and ensure
continual improvement of construction management.
12.Manage all documents, records and systems critical to the maintenance of
the project/ field’s technical integrity and ensuring no place for Non
Conformance by Auditors during External/Internal Audits.

19. Effective resource planning by optimizing man and machine utilization.
20.To Head team members and conducting periodic project review meeting
covering QHSE with the Staff & Subcontractors to ensure schedule Vs actual
progress and planning for the requirement of resources required to achieve
the generated backlogs.
21.Representing as the Site Project Construction head in Project Review
Meetings with the Client/Owner.
22. Heading training programs based on the training need analysis to elevate
the skill and productivity of employees.
23.Interaction with Clients/Consultants/Vendors to utilise their expertise till
their Guarantee period. Interacted with over 18 foreign nationals.
24.Managing & supporting all techno commercial activities related to project
construction for indigenous/Export orders.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. SECURITY. HR & ADMINISTRATION
Proposing for & monitoring the security of resources & materials at site & office.
Monitoring & recommending the joining, time sheets, objectives settings, &
annual appraisals of employees and other confidential reports to HR
department. Feed back from customers & sub contractor assessment reports.
Monitoring general administration of Site and site offices.
2. Health Safety & Environment:
Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Job safety Analysis, Corporate/Site
safety Plan/policies, mobilisation of safety & Emergency Infrastructure are
displayed at proper places, Daily Tool box talks, Job specific tool box. Hazard
identifications & closure, Statistics including safe man hours completed,
consumption & wastage, Safety items in stock, Monthly safety meet with the staff
& sub contractors, ensuring safety triangle is in shape etc.,

Monitoring Key Performance Indicators for Weld Repair Rate, Reworks & NCRs.
Ensuring there is no backlog for the inspection Vs activities carried out and the
testing’s are carried in proper manner & documents including Inward material
inspection & Excess short Deviation reports are send to the procurement within
48 Hours of receipt and are reviewed/signed on daily basis, on job tool box talks
for controlling the rejections.
4. MATERIAL CONTROL:
Receipt, Issue and return Vouchers are logged on daily basis & ensuring issued
material is properly stored / utilised at site.
Monitoring records of DRR/ MRR/ ESDR/IMIRs.
Reconciliation on quarterly basis from the sub contractor.
5. CIVIL
Area Grading, Bench Marking for the Elevations and coordinate Piling,
Excavations, Bar bending/Schedule, Shuttering, Concreting for all polygon
shapes (with/without foundation Bolts/Sleeves) for Pipe Rack, Stack,
Equipments, Technological Structures, Reservoirs, Laying of water barrier/Geo
membrane, M.S. Tank Pad Foundations, Circular ring beams, slip form
construction for stack etc.

Assembly and erection of structure up to 24 mtrs of height

Application with Vermiculite and Concrete materials on Pipe racks & Equipment
skirts via machine/manually.

To control site activities and contract communications. Review of quality plans and to minimize non compliance by contractors. 6. Familiar with latest construction practices for hydrocarbon projects.
