Continuous Construction, Civil, Major and Capital Projects Control lead – Flow lines, Trunk lines, Well
Tie-ins, Brown Field Projects, Civil Construction, Major and capital facilities and development projects,
oil and gas field development.
Functionally reporting to the Senior Construction Manager, Responsibilities are:
 Preparation and control of all Construction raised Work Orders (WOs) detailed recording and
management of all Change processes related both to Construction Contracts and Construction
Change Orders.
 Development and management of Construction Contracts, Management of Change, and Control of
Work. Single Point contact for the Receipt, control and issuing of all Construction related WOs,
RFIs, Sis and FCNs.
 Maintain for Construction a “Master Database” collating all Information pertaining to Project,
Construction Contracts, AFEs, AFE GLN Coding and Project Expenditure. As the Chad portfolio
of projects develops.
 Indirectly align the planning and execution of GLN Chad projects scope with Corporate
Contractual and Procurement Codes of Practice, Technical Integrity and Company Standards.
Additionally, the incumbent supporting HSE, QA/QC, Project Controls, Asset Management,
Operations and Maintenance as they pertain to related projects.
 Develop Contractual Scopes of Work (SOWs) for Review, approval and issue to Contractors &
Vendors, manage and maintain the Project Construction Master Records.
Major Responsibilities:
 Promote Glencore safety values and ensure that HSE procedures, and expectations are complied
with by Subordinates, Contractors and Sub Contractors.
 Develop the detailed Project Construction Master Records and Data base.
 Manage the Receipt, Control and Approval Process for the issue of Construction Work Orders to
meet the Overall Project Schedule.

Continuous Construction Projects Planning engineer and project services administrator – Flow lines,
Trunk lines, Well Tie-ins and Brown Field Projects oil and gas field development.
Duration – From July 2014 to Present
 Monitor the contractor's performance from a planning perspective (schedule development, progress
measurement, interface timing control, supply chain planning, collection verification and analysis of
progress statistics to ensure any deviations from plan are correctly reported and that solutions are
derived and implemented etc.).
 Managing the efficient and safe delivery of multi-discipline work scopes within the PetroChad
(Mangara) project portfolio.
 Responsible for all project execution activities, from Definition through to Operate phase.
 Manage multidiscipline teams, Deliver quality projects safely with due regard to the environment, on
time and within budget, Good understanding of HSES Management systems and the application.
 Formulate and carry out all tasks needed to ensure the successful execution of the Project on time,
within budget and with due regard to HSES and quality.
 Manage the execution of the project via corporate stage gate approval process. Prepare and maintain a
"fit for purpose" Project Execution Plan (PEP).
 Maintain a project risk register and develop mitigation plans for all major identified risks.
 Prepare and maintain Project budgets, identify and raise Approval-For-Expenditure requests (AFE's),
and monitor the same.
 Carry out monthly Forecast at Completion (FAC) cost estimation exercises.

- Planning Engineer:
 Setting up project schedules, then tracking and monitoring these schedules, providing the Project
Manager Team with the essential input for the management of the project.
 Preparation of work breakdown studies and programs.
 Ensuring that work schedules are planned to optimize the use of the company’s resources.
 Provision of data including clear and concise project reports to the management team and the client as
required.
 Production of necessary programs/schedules at the requisite times reflecting the overall contract
requirements.
 Continually monitoring and updating of project schedules against performance by relevant interfacing
with concerned parties.
 Predicting and communicating critical path deviations to enable management to take corrective action.
 Promotion of sound Planning and Progress Measurement engineering practice at all times.
 Prepare, implement and administer all aspects of planning and scheduling control, schedule change,
trend control and system maintenance

presentation materials as requested by the Project Services Manager and Project Controls Central

progress reports, work orders, work release, as built document and handover to drilling and completion
teams.

Exploration and Exploitation of Oil and Gas in Chad:
Caracal Energy Inc. ("Caracal" or the "Company") is a Canadian based international exploration and
Development Company focused on oil and gas activities in the Republic of Chad, Africa. Three wholly
owned subsidiaries of the Company, Griffiths Energy (Chad) Limited, Petro Chad (Mangara) Limited and
Griffiths Energy (DOH) Ltd., signed three production sharing contracts ("PSCs") with the government of
the Republic of Chad in 2011. The PSCs provide exclusive rights to explore and develop reserves and
resources over a combined area of 25,776 square kilometers (approximately 6.4 million net acres) in
southern Chad. Management believes that the three production sharing contracts provide significant near
and longer term potential.
