2. Our Video is Produced for the internet generation

3. When thinking of ideas for our music videos we immediately had to idea to target the video at the internet users of today. Once creating and producing the track we decided that the video need to be as extravagant/over the top as the song itself. After researching many popular viral videos we decided we wanted to make our video as home grown as possible. We wanted to make our video as comical as possible which therefore goes against the trend of many popular music videos from artists such as; Beyonce, The Saturdays etc. We wanted our music to stand out from others and be independent. 4. To run along with the viral theme of our music video we decided to give it a rough cut effect. This can be seen especially in the dancing scene a POV shot is created by the actors holding the camera making the shot a bit unstable. Filming in such a way create shadows which again create the rough cut look. Home Grown?

5. For my CD cover and Poster I wanted to keep the running theme of extravagance/Devine etc. I planned and produced a photo shoot especially The shot I finally used was comical and light hearted/ I used bright and bold colours that clashed against each other like; pink, greens, purples and yellows. The Combination of my Ancillary Tasks and Main Task.

6. When designing my front cover I decided I wanted it to link with our songs message about Inner Beauty and Plastic Surgery. I wanted Stacy to be the model for the shoot as she is the main character in the video this creates continuity. I dressed her up as Doll to link with the plastic surgery theme. But I did want to make the cover and poster to be comical keeping up with the video viral theme. Doll Photo Shoot

7. When promoting a musical/video product distribution is essential to make the product successful. Our video and ancillary tasks all compliment each other. We wanted our themes to run through all of our work. We have had many influences which have helped us with our work such as Ru Paul, Katy Perry etc people such of these are Gay Icons who have used similar devices in their work. I think both of my ancillary tasks would be very successful if used in the real media world as I have used elements from actual professional advertisement. Final Thoughts
