HARNESSING AI FOR ENHANCED MEDIA ANALYSIS A CASE STUDY ON CHATGPT AT DRONE EM...

New Delhi: At the very outset,
I would like to offer you warm
greetings of the Government
and people of India. I am
accompanied by H’ble
Minister of Social Justice and
Empowerment, Shri Thawar
Chand Gehlot, distinguished
Members of the Indian
Parliament, Vice Chancellors
of eminent Indian Universities
and senior officers of the
Government of India. We
have been looking forward to
meeting you all. Although it is
only a few hours since our
arrival, I am sure I speak for
my entire delegation when I
say that our day has been
memorable. The affection and
goodwill that has been show-
ered on us by the people of
Amman since we arrived has
made a lasting impression on
us.
Ambassador Trigunayat tells
me that the Indian community
and Jordanian friends, many
of whom are present here
today, have been playing an
exceptional role in cementing
the co-operation between
Jordan and India. I would like
to commend your efforts.
I have been made aware that
the Indian community in
Jordan have always been
made to feel welcome and
comfortable here. I thank His
Majesty, King Abdullah II and
the Government and friendly
people of Jordan for creating
an environment that has
enabled our people to flourish
and whole heartedly con-
tribute to the progress and
development of this great
nation.
The Government and people
of India, too, bear the greatest
goodwill and affection for the
people of Jordan and look for-
ward to taking forward our
relations in all areas of com-
mon interest.
I would like to share with you
that I have had very good dis-
cussions with His Majesty,
King Abdullah II.
I took the opportunity to thank
His Majesty for the humanitar-
ian assistance extended by
Jordan in the evacuation of
Indians from Iraq in the midst
of the Gulf Crisis in 1991 and
then again in 2014 when they
fled from the troubled situation
in Iraq.
We, in India, greatly value the
personal contribution of His
Majesty and his Government
to the enhancing of relations
between Jordan and India.
I am happy to say that my visit
is taking place at a time when
the Government of India has
initiated a series of measures
aimed at boosting the manu-
facturing sector in India,
encouraging foreign direct
investment and welcoming
investors to participate in the
development of India’s infra-
structure. India is a fast-grow-
ing economy and expanding
market. This is, therefore, an
opportune moment for our two
nations to identify synergies
and build on them for the
mutual benefit of our peoples.
I will meet Prime Minister Dr.
Abdullah Ensour and Deputy
Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister Nasser Judeh tomor-
row. I will have the honour of
representing the people of
India at the naming of a promi-
nent street after Mahatma
Gandhi. This gesture is not
only a tribute to the Father of
our nation, but also a recogni-
tion of the enduring relevance
of his universal message of
peace and non violence.
Friends, we in India consider
the Hashemite Kingdom of
Jordan to be an oasis of
peace and progress in this
region. We laud the progres-
sive policies of His Majesty
the King and deeply appreci-
ate his humanity in offering
refuge to almost one and a
half million innocent men,
women and children who
have been displaced from
their homes by the ravages of
war. We appreciate his efforts
and tireless endeavours within
this region and beyond to
inculcate tolerance and under-
standing amongst communi-
ties. We believe that it is
urgent and imperative for all
sides to give up sectarian vio-
lence and hatred and, instead,
embrace tolerance, humanity
and harmonious coexistence.
Gandhiji, the Father of our
nation believed, and I quote,
“It is the law of love that
rules mankind. Had vio-
lence, i.e. hate, ruled us we
should have become extinct
long ago. And yet, the
tragedy of it is that the so-
called civilized men and
nations conduct them-
selves as if the basis of
society was violence”.

UP police wrote a letter to
Twitter Inc asking for
removal of certain photo-
graphs and text uploaded
on the social networking
site said to be related to the
Dadri incident in which
Akhlaq (50) was lynched
following rumours that his
family had consumed and
stored beef. It is an irony
that Government is both-
ered about its reputation on
social media but no preven-
tive action has been taken
yet to prevent this type of
incident. Everyone is
indulging in ‘Tu Tu Mein
Mein’ politics over this inci-
dence as Bihar elections
are ahead. BJP had
indulged in worst politics by
forcing a priest of a temple
to tell lies from inside the
temple and then they
lynched a man to death
and brutally assaulted his
family members. No gov-
ernment or political party is
sensitive to take action or
do the needful in the inter-
est of the people. Our
prime minister, who was
known for instant reaction
for everything, was dead
silent for fortnight when
state was under communal
tensions and his lieu-
tenants Mahesh Sharma,
Sadhvi Prachi, Sangeet
Som and Sakshi Maharaj
are continuously spreading
hatred passing provocative
statements. I think Modi not
only lost control over coun-
try but also on his own min-
isters, MPs and MLAs too.
He broke his silence but
choose a poll bound state.
Is politicizing everything
necessary? India’s secular
image got a jolt in the world
with this news. Every
Newspaper and websites
have carried this news as
an important news, which is
giving a blot on democracy
of India. With no end to war
of words over the lynching,
adding more fuel to the fire,
BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj
has said that they are
ready to kill in order to pro-
tect cows from slaughter.
The remarks came on a
day, when Samajwadi
Party’s Azam Khan is
expected to visit the village.
I’m surprised, when these
leaders are not bothered
about the cow that is eating
garbage, polythene for their
survival, living on roads?
Suppose if published and
over hyped content is
removed along with specif-
ic photographs and text
uploaded by a twitter han-
dles then how will that
solve the basic issue or
stigma be wiped out? Why
these eye washes? They
are investigating into the
other aspects like the indi-
vidual behind the handle
that was used to upload
this objectionable text and
graphics as such activities
whip up communal pas-
sions which can prove
detrimental for the sur-
charged atmosphere pre-
vailing in certain parts of
the state. However, it is the
fact that no one is able to
control the situation on
ground level. Akhilesh has
directed to take stern action
against elements creating
disharmony and inciting
hatred by circulating base-
less content on social
media, specially (on)
Facebook, WhatsApp and
Twitter but he is not control-
ling those goons who are
playing politics in his state
itself. Effective action
should be taken here not
on social media and ele-
ments spreading rumours
should be dealt with strict
action by registering FIR
against them. Moreover,
cyber cell officers get rare
chance to appear on cam-
era, so they randomly pass
statements without having
any knowledge of cyber
security of hacking or using
fake IP. They even don’t
know basic difference
between using proxy and
hack. As the spokesman
gave comments to media
that some tweets originated
from a twitter handle being
operated from Noida with
the motive of disturbing
communal harmony and
spreading hatred then he
said some are tweeted
from an IP which is
untraceable, some might
be hacking international IP.
It is such a shame that he
does not know there are
thousands of methods for
using proxy IPs. Police
should be trained in this
regards.
These tweets were made
on September 30 and an
FIR has been lodged in the
matter. Stern action would
be taken against the per-
son concerned after inves-
tigation. But believe me, no
one would be arrested or
really traced. The state
administration has also
asked people to inform it on
9454401002 if they come
across any such cases on
social networking websites
and applications. The iden-
tity of the informer would be
kept secret.
Let me tell you, the cyber
crime is rising at alarming
rate, the number of cyber
crimes in India may touch a
humungous figure of
3,00,000 in 2015, almost
double the level of last year
causing havoc in the finan-
cial space, security estab-
lishment and social fabric,

The Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh
conjures up a picture of poverty and back-
wardness in the minds of most people. The
area has lagged behind agriculturally and
economically due to its typical geographical
terrain and climatic conditions. The UP part of
Bundelkhand comprises of seven districts
falling under the Jhansi and Chitrakoot divi-
sions respectively. The rabi crop is good here
and high value crops like gram, lentil, pea etc
are grown in the area in large quantities.
However, the farmers of the region have
largely depended on one just one crop; the
area sown during kharif is much smaller.
Traditionally, in comparison to the area sown
during Rabi, farmers cultivate only about 50%
of the area during the season of Kharif in
Bundelkhand. While the net cropped area dur-
ing Rabi is approximately 18.50 lakh
hectares, the area cropped during Kharif has
hovered around 9 lakh hectares. The primary
reason given is that the region suffers due to
Anna Pratha. This is a traditional system
under which people leave their milch cattle
unfettered to graze in the fields. These cattle
eat up the crops and therefore the farmers are
not inclined to sow their lands during the sea-
son of Kharif. This does not happen during the
rabi season as he farmers keep their cattle at
home. To understand this phenomenon, one
has to appreciate the peculiar circumstances
prevailing in Bundelkhand. Firstly, the entire
area has traditionally been rainfed and suffers
from shortage of water. Due to the vagaries of
monsoon, the farmers have preferred not to
sow their fields. Secondly, the average size of
the landholdings in the region has traditional-
ly been much bigger as compared to the aver-
age landholding size of the state due to the
low population density here. Therefore it was
possible for the farmer to make do with even
one good crop in the past but not so any
longer. The situation has now changed with
the increase in population and the size of
average landholdings has gone down sub-
stantially in this region also. Thirdly, due to the
area being rainfed, there is a general short-
age of fodder also in the region during the
summer season. This forced the farmers to
leave the cattle free to survive on whatever
came their way in the fields. This slowly
became an accepted practice and farmers
stopped sowing their fields during the Kharif
season in Bundelkhand. Such vast area
remaining uncropped is also a national
wastage of sorts for the country.
During last two seasons of rabi, due to
unseasonal rains and hailstorm in
Bundelkhand, farmers suffered severe losses
in 2014 and 2015. The coverage of farmers
under crop insurance in Bundelkhand is to the
tune of 15%, which though much higher than
the state average of 4-5% is still very small.
As the farmers are mainly dependent on the
proceeds from Rabi in the region, this was a
big jolt for them. They were desperately look-
ing for some additional income, when the
state government stepped in with a unique
policy announcement. Realizing the potential
of cultivation of sesame (til) in Bundelkhand
during kharif, the subsidy on its seeds for the
farmers of the region was increased five times
from Rs. 20/kg to Rs. 100/kg. The decision to
promote sesame was taken consciously in the
light of the fact that the cattle do not eat this
crop. Sesame seed was procured in large
quantity to be distributed to the farmers of the
area. An aggressive campaign to promote
sesame cultivation during kharif was
launched. Departmental officers, NGOs, dis-
trict and divisional officers and all others con-
cerned campaigned actively for increasing the
area under sesame and also for generally
bringing more area under coverage as com-
pared to the last year’s figure.
The result has been extremely encouraging.
As compared to kharif 2014, an additional 2
lakh hectares has been cultivated in
Bundelkhand this year, out of which almost
1.25 lakh hectares additional area is under
sesame! The premise that if farmers are able
to get proper return from their crop then irre-
spective of Anna Pratha they would plant
crops, has turned out to be correct! This has
been made possible with the active interven-
tion of local administration. During my recent
visit to Jalaun district, the farmers were thank-
ful to the administration for restricting those
farmers who used to leave their cattle unfet-
tered to graze in others’ fields, which has
resulted in the increased coverage. Along the
Orai-Jhansi highway, it was a treat to watch
kilometres and kilometres of sesame on both
sides. The arrangement of fodder for the cat-
tle is also a crucial issue, which definitely
needs to be addressed. If the farmer has the
purchasing power, he can definitely buy the
required fodder from the market.

LibyaThe United Nations proposed to a national unity
government to Libya’s warring factions meant to end
their conflict, but any deal must overcome resistance
from hardliners and pass a vote in their rival parliaments
to succeed.
Four years after the fall of Muammar Gaddafi, Libya has
descended into a war between Libya’s recognised gov-
ernment and its elected parliament, and the self-declared
rulers set up in Tripoli last year in a battle for control of
the OPEC member state.
The UN proposal comes after months of on-off negotia-
tions between the two main factions. But delegates from
Tripoli had already balked at proposing names for the
unity government because they wanted more amend-
ments to the initial deal.
Western powers are pushing for both sides to accept the
UN agreement, fearing violence has allowed Islamist mil-
itants to gain ground in Libya and permitted illegal
migrant smugglers to take advantage of the chaos.

New Delhi: Market share of major ports in handling fertilizers witnessed an upsurge
after a period of six years. In FY 2008-09, the market share of major Ports in handling
fertilizer was 67.30% which declined over the next few years. It was lowest in FY 2013-
14, when the market share of Major Ports declined to 25.38%.
The turnaround came in FY 2014-15, when the market share of the Major Ports in han-
dling fertilizers rose to 26.93%. It has witnessed further boost in FY 2015-16 (till
September) where the market share of Major Ports jumped by 4.67 percent to 31.06%.
The increase in the share of Major Ports can be attributed to the increase in productiv-
ity and efficiency of the Major Ports, faster Turn Around Time and the policy changes
initiated by the Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers on the hinterland transport of
Fertilizer.
All these policy changes have been initiated at the behest of Ministry of Shipping. The
effort has been to ensure efficient handling of fertilizer import to reduce landed cost of
fertilizer at its destination.

staff they have sent a notice with him and he has
puted the same notice in front of the hospital and ran
