Helping in emergencies is very important especially in emergencies like car accidents and the like. This is because besides being on the spot on time, it gives the chance to save the life of a fellow human being. The appropriate time to help is when there is no any other person or any near facilities that will help in the rescuing and helping the people. This is because this time, there is a huge responsibility expected from you, and the injured person looks up to you for any help that could be offered. An example is when there is a car accident that just occurred. It will be very good if I stepped forward and helped in the rescuing of the people that are alive but are still in the car (Carlson et al).
After the accident has just occurred, it only means that the only people aware of the accident are the surrounding people and if I happen to be in the neighborhood, this will be an important time to help. The hospital will also not have received information in order to send for help with the use of ambulances. This will help save a lot of life before the ambulances arrive and help in the saving of the people. This would have helped a lot because the lives would have been in danger if the people had not been helped in the appropriate time (Albon, 2007). Normally in cases that an individual has been involved in a fatal accident, if they do not get immediate first aid will in most cases stand to lose their lives or have fatal condition.
There are also other emergencies that occur on daily basis apart from the car accidents. This will include fire and floods and many other examples. All these accidents means that someone has been affected somewhere and that they are in a position that they can use some external help. Each poses a way in which any individual will be able to step in and help. This may through the donation of clothes, food and other materials that are needed by the people that have been affected. All these actions help a great deal in ways that one might not realize. This will be a good gesture as it will give the people hope that they will live. This will not be the same if the people never received any form of help after they had gone through such a tragedy and no one helped them. They will feel as if they are all alone and that life has no meaning as it seems that no one is interested in helping them from their situation (Maud & Foster, 2006). Therefore, it would be a nice gesture to provide some help to someone in such a situation. This is because, besides being in very stressful situation, something positive came out of it, and some care was shown, which is all that matters.
During May 12th, 2008, one of the largest earthquakes in human history happened in Sichuan, China. There are 87,150 people killed and missing by the Magnitude 7.9 earthquake, more than $191,913 million loss at the time of event, which was the second highest in absolute numbers in history. After the accident has just occurred, it only means that the only

that are needed by the people that have been affected. All these

This will be a good gesture as it will give the people hope that
they will live. This will not be the same if the people never
received any form of help after they had gone through such a

help to someone in such a situation. This is because, besides
being in very stressful situation, something positive came out of
it, and some care was shown, which is all that matters.
During May 12th, 2008, one of the largest earthquakes in human
history happened in Sichuan, China. There are 87,150 people
killed and missing by the Magnitude 7.9 earthquake, more than
$191,913 million loss at the time of event, which was the
second highest in absolute numbers in history. (BBC.COM)
However, after the tragedy, there are $456.9 million USD from
sources around the world comes to Sichuan, and inside mainland
China, the Ministry of Civil Affairs stated that $1.6 billion had
been donated by the Chinese public alone, including $0.673
billion in the first week (Wikipedia). As a Chinese, I
appreciated for the care from all around the world, it helped us
go through the tragedy, and face the new life.
A person can also help in other emergencies way before
they even occur. This is especially in the countries where
droughts hit unexpectedly, there are active volcanoes that have
been mentioned or where they are always attacked by terrorists.
These cases are very many in the world today. A person can
donate food or the clothes that they do not use so that they can
be given to the people that are affected by this in time. It is not
necessary to wait until there is an emergency that is occurring
so that one can offer their help. The clothes that one gives will
be given to the people that are affected at the appropriate time
so that they can be able to be given to the people affected once
3. they are needed. Blood donation is another kind of helping
during emergencies. The blood is stored in the blood banks after
donations and it will help the patient brought to the hospital and
needs a blood transfusion. By doing this, the person would have
helped with the blood transfusion and there will be a life that
has been saved by the blood (Rooney, 2013).
Helping people during emergencies is therefore very
important. This is because it gives them back the hope that they
had lost after the accidents or calamities occurred. The act of
helping further gives the helper a good feeling as having had the
chance to do something good even if once in their life time.
This is a good feeling and will in most cases according to
religion is a way of attracting blessings (Maud & Foster, 2006).
The sense of helping is also very good as people will be able to
coexist freely. It also gives the feeling that whichever situation
that one is in, someone could help in a way and make them have
hope in life again. Lives are very precious and can be saved by
the small acts of kindness that people portray by helping each
other. This is because; it has a positive impact on the health of
the victim and provides a positive emotional impact on the
helper. Every time in life a person needs help and therefore this
s the best way a person can help another that is in help.
