There were various cups set out with different labels on the side. Legally they have
to put labels on everything used by the patient that has their name, D.O.B, and that
barium was used. The SLP poured barium into the cups, which she then flavored
with Kool Aid and then barium was added to applesauce. This allowed the SLP to
test various consistencies and see how the patient tolerated them. Thin, Nectar, and
Puree consistencies were observed during the study. The study requires several
disciplines to be presented in the room in order for it to be completed. There was a
