Do you know what is Geometric Sequence?
It is a sequence of numbers where each term after the first is
found by multiplying the previous one by a fixed, non-zero number
called the common ratio. For example, the sequence 2, 6, 18, 54,
... is a geometric progression with common ratio 3.
How do you find the common ratio of a geometric sequence?
To find the common ratio, divide the second term by the first term. Notice
the non-linear nature of the scatter plot of the terms of a geometric
sequence The domain consists of the counting numbers 1, 2, 3,4,
... and the range consists of the terms of the sequence.
