The document summarizes the activities of a school radio project involving 9 European countries between 2012-2014. It describes several student mobilities where groups visited different partner countries. The goals of the project were to clarify aims, facilitate communication between students through broadcasts, and promote cultural exchange through visits to historical sites and performances. Mobility locations included Greece, Portugal, Germany, Norway, Czech Republic, Belgium, and Bulgaria. A blog and Facebook page were used to share radio programs and experiences.

1. As Inönü Technical and Vocational High School, between 2012-2014, under European Union Ministry,
life-long learning program, within Comenius School Partnership, together with 9 countries many
activities has been done thanks to the Project named “European School Radio”
Within the Project the first mobility was to Thessaloniki,Greece,
In Thessaloniki, the aims of the Project and the date of the mobilities has been clarified. Tourist trips
has been done which is one of the main goal of this project. (Atatürk’s House, Olympus, old Ottoman
houses…). The date of the broadcast, which is done to increase the communication between the
students, has been determined and via esradio.mysch.gr. many radio program has been
broadcasted.
The second mobility was to Lisbon,Portugal. The students has made interwievs within the Radio
Program and they broadcasted them on the internet. The historical places where Sintra, Cascais and
FADO style music is made, have been visited, and a live Show has been done with our shool.
In April,2013, the most fascinating mobility has been executed in İstanbul, as our European Friends
said. I believe that we did our best to promote our culture. We did the honors with a great program.
In June,2013, in Leipzig Germany, we also visited Dresden, as a Turkish Team we created the blog
called europeanschool radio.blogspot.com and application increasing the communication between
the students and facilitators helping students while they are doing broadcasts to the blogspot within
the school radio Project has been uploaded to our blog, the transition from the blog to facebook has
been provided.
We went to Fusa –Bergen,Norway from 28th September to 5th October, And it was amazing
nature,fishing and people..
we made a broadcast about Ürgüp, one of the most beautiful place in Nevşehir, fairy-chimneys.
The other mobility was to Prague,Czech Republic; also one of the super city of the world,I think all
people should visit Prague,Charles bridge,university and playing school theatre by the ESR students
were wonderful.
In March, we went to Kortrijk.Belgium and we visited the heart of Europe,it was also well-organised
mobility.
Our final mobility will be to Dobrich, Bulgaria.
