Luxury Brand Marketing
LUXURY BRAND MARKETING
What is LUXURY?
While the word luxury is used in daily lives to refer to certain lifestyle, the underlying construct s
definition is consumer and situation specific. If you earn less than 15000 a month, a pair of reebok
shoes would be a really big luxury item for you. On the other hand, if you are going to a party with
some big wigs a $100,000 car may not be a luxury. The word luxury originates from the Latin term
luxus signifying, soft or extravagant living, indulgence, sumptuousness or opulence
The meaning of luxury is extremely subjective and multidimensional in nature. It depends on
dimension such as high price, high quality, uniqueness, exclusivity etc.

She mentions Armani s 19 year old association with British semi royal and socialite Lady Helen

Taylor, who was also the face for Bulgari, gave a sigh of relief and was glad to give up her uniform .
Six years hence, Chawla is nowhere close to hanging up her Dior couture.
The Mohan for Gucci buzz has engendered new aspirations in the circuit that goes beyond the hostess
or the grander sounding luxury consultant tags. The socialite is becoming more important in a luxury
brand s marketing strategy as she pulls in the right kind of crowd, says Priya Sachdev, creative

Nichevertising
Brand consultant and strategist Harish Bijoor of Harish Bijoor Consults loftily terms it nichevertise vs
massvertise . According to him the luxury brands are not for mass consumption and shouldn t be mass
advertised. The social circuit gives them a fresh channel to reach out to their target audience without
any noise. The socialite model of marketing targets the guest lists minus the hard sell, he says.
Personal voice distinct style
Every luxury brand needs to develop a marketing strategy that not only helps

Satan In The War Of Art Essay
Evil, chaos, and mass destruction are words that surface the mind when Satan is mentioned. An
expression of pure evil, Satan is often looked at as one to steer afar from. Yet, there is a time and place
of everything and even the character of Satan serves a purpose. For there is no good without its
opposing force evil.
If you look at yourself and all things you love about yourself you will realize that all of these qualities
do not come from not you , they are more of external loves that only exist in relation to you . For
example, one may love mango smoothies yet there are not you until you drink it and it is digested into
your body but then you don t have it, and that s not when you love it. One may love watching movies
or going for hikes, an external love of your experience of the world. Appreciating and loving
everything in the world for it makes you up is the first step in understanding why Satan is not
something to be afraid of, but rather appreciated.
Without Satan, there would be no bad guy to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Yet without resistance motivation would not exist. It is humans that feed resistance with our fear in the
same way we attach labels of good/bad or evil to objects. Moving forward with this concept, it is the
human consciousness that creates good and bad. This is seen in the common representation of
consciousness with an angel and devil sitting on one s shoulders influencing the thoughts and
decisions at hand. Every action a being makes is rationalized. A hawk may swoop down and kill the
chipmunk for survival. This is just as a normal of a happening as a dog drinking water from his or her
drinking bowl. When human consciousness applies the meaning of good and evil, Satan and God are
present in these happenings depending upon which perspective. This is therefore to say, that Satan is
simply a figment of imagination and dependent upon one s intuitive perception of

Persuasive Essay On Fake News
Almost 1.8 billion people use Facebook, and about half of American adults use as their main news
source. According to Cambridge Dictionary, fake news is false stories that appear to be news, spread
on the internet or using other media, usually created to influence political views or as a joke.
Currently, many people are debating over the problem of fake news. For example, in the 2016
election, two candidates were chosen, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. As many citizens possessed
different political views, some started to create posts and articles to try and change other s political
opinions. As a result of this, companies were criticized for not taking measures to reduce the amount
of fake news. Later, companies started to take control of their software, as it is essential to handle fake
news as most people receive their information from these outlets. Although some argue that the spread
of fake news is the fault of the people who create it, it should be largely the company s responsibility
to control its spread; they should add algorithms to determine a post s validity.
During the 2016 presidential election, Facebook was greatly disparaged for not making an attempt to
counter fake news. Although Mark Zuckerberg mentioned that Facebook had no connection with the
outcome of the election, some thought otherwise. For example, a man named Eric Tucker took a
picture of a road filled with buses who he claimed were filled with protesters who he thought would
march against Donald

Strengths And Weaknesses In English Class
Did you know that 92 percent of all English students end up passing the class, but that only 84 percent
of choir students pass English class? In elementary school, I was able to write and read efficiently.
However, my comprehension of what as I read as I got older was not as good as it could have been. I
was able to read books and understand the main points, but often I would forget little details. My past
few years in English have been successful and I have been able to achieve many of the goals I have set
for myself as an English student. In this paper, I will address my strengths, my weaknesses, what I
enjoy the most, and how I learn the best. I have some strengths and weaknesses and ways I learn the
best doing hands on learning and activities. My strengths in English are writing papers and doing
hands on stuff. My weaknesses are comprehending things and doing bookwork. In my previous years
of English, I have done well and my grades are proof of that. I have averaged A s and B s. One of my
major strengths has been projects where I have to make a google slide presentation and then present it
in front of the class. Tests are also a strong point for me in English. This is because I am able to make
connections easily and link ideas back to main details. However, sometimes I struggle to make
connections if I did not understand or enjoy the material, but for the most part, making connections
and doing well on tests has always been a strength of mine. My struggles in English

In sixth grade it can be scary at first but, I grew into it. When you walk in for the field trip in fifth
grade to the first day it was nervous. When it was the second week this place felt like home. I started
making new friends and meeting new teachers. The whole idea of Middle School is way different than
Elementary School.
In sixth grade we performed a folklore play. It all started one day when we went to the library to study
folklore. After that Mrs. Smith told us we had to write our own books about folklore. My book was
called Steph Pan and Hook JR, which is a fractured fairy tale of Peter Pan. But, we did not just jump
right to the computers, we had to start in our notebook to think of ideas for our books. Then, we

One activity was called the Mars essay. We read some articles about Mars and a company that wanted
people to go to mars. Then, we started typing all the facts we learned into an essay. Our class would
also play kickball on Fridays. One time when we went outside to play this teacher tried to catch the
ball and she dropped it. But, I dove to catch the ball and caught it. My head felt like a ringing bell. We
also on St. Patrick s Day made shamrock shakes in Mr.Odell s class. In his class we watched March
Madness and saw some teams play. Some people also participated in Mr. Odells bracket challenge. I
had Michigan State winning it all but they lost in the first round to Middle Tennessee. Kyler Milligan
ended up winning at the end. I came in third place. One event that just came up was the Midevil Fairs.
I dressed up as a monk. We had a parade first period and lapped the parking lot. Second period was the
class spinoff and in the first round I had a tough match. I ended up winning the match but it was close.
Then in the second round I lost to Connor Sackett. Our class winner was Femi Kessington. In ninth
period was the tops spinoff. Everyone who won competed in it. Femi came in second place. Midevil
Fairs was a exciting day. Overall, sixth grade was an exciting year for me. With all the twists and

What Are the Possible Effects on Performance When a...
What are the possible effects on performance when a performer enters a major competition with a high
level of anxiety? Discuss the strategies and techniques the performer may use to manage anxiety in the
build up to the competition.
Anxiety is the negative aspect of experiencing stress. Anxiety is the worry and unpleasant feeling
experienced because of the fear or possibility of failure.
Anxiety is seen to cause a negative impact on performance especially when levels are high. Anxiety
can cause many side effects. These effects of anxiety are split into two categories: Cognitive and
somatic anxiety. Cognitive anxiety is the thoughts, nervousness, apprehension or worry that a
performer has about their lack of ability to complete a task ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Here the performer is monitored electronically on any physiological variables such as heart rate and
sweating (using a galvanic skin response). Once these levels rise because of anxiety then the
performer will think of pleasant thoughts to then reduce anxiety.
The performer can also use breathing control to reduce anxiety. This involves diaphragmatic breathing
(breathing deeply) as a means of focusing on relaxation.
Another somatic technique similar to breathing control is centering. Here the performer focuses on the
rate of breathing and maintaining a slow, steady pace. These both keep you more focused and help to
avoid any possible distractions.
The final somatic technique that can be used is progressive muscular relaxation. Here you tense your
muscles one by one for a few seconds from head to toe. This then leaves each muscle more relaxed
than normal helping to reduce anxiety levels and its effects.
The majority of these techniques, both cognitive and somatic must be practiced and learnt in training
in order for them to become effective when competing.
A performer can also use Goal setting to manage their anxiety levels. By using the SMARTER
principle of goal setting the performer will set realistic and achievable goals. This will then provide a
direction of efforts for the performer. As a result; selective attention will improve, motivation levels
will increase, task persistence will increase and self confidence will

Themes Of Requiem For A Dream
Requiem for a Dream takes us down the dark paths of four people who, in desperate attempts to find
happiness and fulfilment, become sucked into a world of drug addiction. The 2000 film by Darren
Aronofsky is based upon Hubert Selby Jr. s 1978 novel of the same name. Sara Goldfarb (Ellen
Burstyn) is a retired widow who lives by herself in a tiny apartment. She is very lonely and spends
copious amounts of time watching television; she is especially enamored with a self help show. After a
phone call leads her to believe her dreams of appearing on the show as a guest might come true, she
attempts to lose weight. She starts taking diet pills and soon finds herself hooked, causing her mental
state to deteriorate rapidly. Her son, Harry (Jared Leto), is a junkie who, along with his friend, Tyrone
(Marlon Wayans), thinks that his big break in life will be when he becomes a big time drug dealer. He
has no qualms about using his mother s beloved television set as collateral for drug deals. Harry s
girlfriend Marion (Jennifer Connelly) is a talented clothing designer who could have a future, but she
can t resist the drugs, and she finds herself sucked into down along with Harry. The film, which is set
in Brooklyn s Brighton Beach, holds close to the theme of the novel: the real drug we re all hooked on
is the American Dream, with its promises of big cash paydays and fame and eventually happiness . . .

Public Opinion Polls Have Both Flaws And Encouraging Data
Before I go into answering the questions directly, it should be understood that public opinion polls
have both flaws and encouraging data. Pubic opinion polls if done appropriately will give the general
feel of how the population is feeling towards an issue. It all depends on whether the sampling is
comparative to the population, for example if you have a population of One Hundred Thousand and
you only sample one hundred, the results will not be as accurate if the sampling size was bigger. Also,
the person conducting the interviews of these opinion polls must not be biased to one side or the other.
They must remain centered on the subject and not influence the answers that are given. Asking
specific questions about real issues can result is promising polling data. Opinion polls should be used
to collect data, and must also be used in a way that reflects accurate data. By not having accurate data
that can lead to bad decision making or lead to mistrust among the community and the police
departments. One of the biggest missuses of opinion polls was in the presidential election in the 1948
were the Chicago Daily Tribune printed election results on bad opinion polling and looked foolish for
doing so. So these polls should be used with caution and constructed in a way that does not allow for
misrepresentation of the publics true views as it has in the past. Well one of the first things I would tell
the director before looking at the poll would be to not base any decisions

Should High School Athletes Be Allowed To Recruit Essay
The seven foot athlete threw down another massive dunk. The team they were playing was much
better than his team. The other team s coach was trying to recruit him. He kept telling him he would fit
better there. High schools can recruit other athletes but have guidelines to follow. High schools
recruiting are detrimental to high school sports. Public high schools in the United States should not be
able to recruit because it is too much stress and pressure on the athlete, it fabricates competition, and it
ruins the high school experience.
Being recruited puts too much stress and pressure on an athlete. According to Dr. H Jean Wright II
there is an immense amount of pressure on athletes to perform in class and on the field (Student
Athletes Under More Pressure, Stress). The pressure to do good in school and sports may be too much
for some athletes. Also, the high expectations from everyone around them cause extra stress and
pressure to do good in school. An athlete being the transfer student who was recruited causes extra
pressure and stress to perform well. The constant practice and school work and getting used to the new
school can cause burnouts which cause stress. Everything combined just might be too much too

New World Order Research Paper
The new world order but is it new? The continuing war on the enlightenment. First let s lay down
some ground work through history. Anyone who studies the American revolution realizes that the
founding fathers had the enlightenment on their minds when they wrote the constitution. As we have
written in the past, America was founded at a unique time in history by unique circumstances and
people. In order to realize the ongoing war on the enlightenment, you have to understand the time line.
Most scholors agree that the Enlightenment was a result of the Thirty Years War. This horrible war,
lasted from 1618 to 1648. It compelled German writers (such as Hugo Grotius and John Comenius) to
pen harsh criticisms regarding the ideas of nationalism ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The term New World order has been hijacked. The new world order is the form of government our
founding fathers gave to us in the constitution . The politicians dream of a world where the U.N
controls everything and we all use a centrally controlled currency is nothing but old ideas rehashed
that ultimately deprive men of their liberties. The old world order. No countries, no borders, just one
world where everyone sings Kumbaya and there are no wars or hungry people. Sounds good, but it
does not take in consideration that there may be a considerable number of people that do not want to
take part in somebody else s Utopian dream. That is where things become dangerous. Every time there
is central authority it must be able to force people to do it s will. Something the socialist professors
conveniently leave out when espousing the virtues of central authority (socialism). America became a
country that gave rights to people that no other country had done. The problem is that a self governing
society has to have a moral compass in order to function. Churches and community kept America
together until the past 30 years or so. As government encroaches on the family and community, and as
personal responsibility fades, central authority has to enforce and create laws to keep the population in
check. In order for us to regain ground in the war on enlightenment, we have to stop looking to
government for answers and start fixing things in our local communities. The world is too big for
central control, we have no other choice, even with all the technology, it will not

Theu.s. Justice Department And Jpmorgan Chase
It may not count as classic but it will count as epic in the history books when all is said and done. I am

from illegal actions taken by JPMorgan Chase and by Washington Mutual (a bank purchased by Chase
in 2008) and Bears Stearns (purchased by Chase in 2008). The government investigated so called
toxic loans made by all these companies prior to the 2008 financial crisis. They provided loans to
people who could not afford them at high rates and then bundled them and sold them to investors
without disclosing the riskiness of the initial loans. The bank was being investigated under the

financial crimes, address discrimination in the lending and financial markets and recover proceeds for

The word is made up of two parts, dys meaning not or difficult, and lexia meaning words, reading, or
language. So dyslexia really does mean trouble with words. The most common misunderstandings
about dyslexia is the problem of a letter or word reversals or of letters, words, or sentences dancing
around . It s common in the early stages for writing and reading letters and words backwards and the
reversals of words may or may not indicate an underlying reading problem.Dyslexia is not caused by
poverty, developmental delay, speech or hearing impairments, or learning a second language but will
put a child at more at risk for developing a reading disability. There is two obvious signs a child will
often show. The first sign is they will not be able to read as many of the words in a text by sight as
most average kids are able to. There may be many words they stumble, guess at, or attempt to sound
out. The second sign is they may often show decoding difficulties. This means their attempts to
identify words they do not know will produce many errors and will not be very accurate in using letter
sound relationships in combination with context to identify unknown words. It makes it very difficult
for readers to connect letters and sounds in order to decode. Those with dyslexia will have trouble
comprehending what they read and trouble processing the words on the page. It s common in the early

is to form a Kurdistan state within Turkey. Some people apart of this organization feel that Turkey has

Symbols In The Alchemist By Paulo Coelho
Everything a person encounters in their life affects their view on the world. In The Alchemist by Paulo
Coelho, Santiago does not feel like he is fulfilling his life to its highest potential. In order to achieve
his full potential, he sells his sheep and takes off on a journey to fulfill his personal legend. The story
is not just about a boy trying to carry out his personal legend, it is about the symbolic aspects of life
and how everything in a person s life affects them. Fate and omens are main motifs in The Alchemist
by Paulo Coehlo that helped Santiago find this way through his journey and are shown by the
symbolic stones from the king, the desert he traveled through and the treasure that was found.
Urim and Thummim are magic stones that Melchizedek gives Santiago to take on his journey bring
him comfort as they answer his questions and relieve his doubts about fulfilling his quest. The small
stones he keeps in his pocket remind him of the King who bestowed them upon him, along with
stories emphasizing the importance of following one s dreams. Towards the beginning of Santiago s
journey, he goes to ask the stones a question and realizes that they are not in his pocket. He didn t

there were certain things one shouldn t ask about, so as not to flee from one s own Personal Legend. I

Kerzner (2009) defines procurement and contracting as the process that involves two parties with
different objectives who interact on a given market segment. (p. 840) As with every phase of project
management, proper planning is key to the success of any project by ensuring the project gets the most
out of any supplier relationships. This paper will define the project procurement planning process and
how risk management affects that process. Procurement Planning There are several pieces to the
procurement planning process that include documenting the procurement requirements, identifying ...

In CPIF contracts the seller is reimbursed for all allowable expenses and receives a fee based upon
achievement of performance objectives. In CPAF contracts the seller is reimbursed for legitimate
costs, but most of the fee is base upon the subjective satisfaction of the buyer. Time and material
contracts are a hybrid as they contain aspects of both fixed price and cost reimbursable contracts. This
contract type is used when it is impossible to estimate accurately the extent or duration of the
contracted work. Time and material contract represents the highest risk to the buyer. Outputs Outputs
of the procurement planning process include the procurement management plan, procurement
statements of work, make or buy decisions, procurement documents, source selection criteria, and
change requests to the project management plan. Procurement statements of work (SOW) are the most
valuable output of the plan procurement process. These documents directly correlate to the project
scope baseline and specify the portion of the project scope to be included in any related contract. The
SOW allows perspective sellers to determine if they are capable of provided for the needs of the
contract before they bid, thus eliminating time and effort wasted for both the buyer and seller. This
ultimately leads to the greatest efficiency in identifying the right source for the

The Effects Of Terrorism On Terrorism And Terrorism
Effects of Terrorism
The history of terrorism is a history of well known and historically significant individuals, entities,
and incidents associated, whether rightly or wrongly, with terrorism, (History of Terrorism). The
history of terrorism is a long bloody road. One of the bloodiest of acts of terrorism in the early years,
was the reign of terror. In which, the Jacobin leader, Maximilien Robespierre, executed 40,000 people.
Newspapers coined the word Terrorism as a way of describing Robespierre and his followers actions
(History of Terrorism).
The Jacobins then gave themselves the honor of calling themselves Terrorists (History of Terrorism).
Which became the first use of the word. The word was first used to describe someone who takes
advantage of their power, but later evolved into the meaning it is today. Today terrorism simply
means: use of force or threats to demoralize, intimidate, and subjugate, esp. such use as a political
weapon or policy. (Webster s New World College Dictionary). Terrorism has dramatically increased
since the beginning. Nowadays, in some countries, it seems almost inescapable.
In countries like Iraq, terrorism is a day to day event. Their population is pretty much used to and, for
the most part, prepared for terrorist attacks whether domestic or international. Terrorism is evolving
constantly and as it does fear begins to grow larger and larger across the world. The fear of terrorism
stems from countless threats from groups like Al

Case Study Of Atrial Septal Defect
Chapter 1
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
Introduction
Having a heart disease is one of the most life threatening experiences a particular person could ever
had. Half of his or her life is in danger; not knowing when will he/she die. That s why people should
take good care of themselves, especially their hearts; for heart is one of the main body parts in human
anatomy. Heart disease is very different from heartbreaks; that after you get hurt, you ll just move on
and
...the heart is the most important organ simply because the heart carries and pumps necessities to other

It shows that the researcher should interview first the people surrounds Seana, particularly her parents
or her guardians for them to study the medical histories of it. Upon synthesizing the medical histories
given, then, there is a big possibility that the researcher will know or will have further understanding
why Seana lived like that what are the limitations in her activities in order to prevent her disease
(ASD) from worsening.
Statement of the Problem
The main purpose of this study is to have further understanding about the life of a person with atrial
septal defect and how do they dwell on it.
In order to have a clearer understanding, the researchers prepared the following five (5) sets of
questions that need to be answered by the person being studied:
1. What is the medical history of Seana?
2. What are the limited activities that may trigger the ASD of Seana?
3. How is Seana medicated?
4. How Seana recovered to ASD?
Significance of the Study
The researchers chose to study the life of people with atrial septal defect and how do these people

With the primary objective of incentivizing exports, various schemes like Export Oriented Units

Manufacture under Bond etc. have been made available by the government to obtain inputs without

Section 74 deals with goods which fall under Category A as described above and Section 75 deals with
Category B.
In case of goods which were earlier imported on payment of duty and are later sought to be re
exported within a specified period, customs duty paid at the time of import of the goods with certain
cut can be claimed as duty drawback by the exporter at the time of export of such goods. Such duty
drawback is granted in terms of Section 74 of the Customs Act, 1962 read with Re export of Imported
Goods (Drawback of Customs Duty) Rules, 1995. For this purpose, at the time of import, the identity
particulars of the goods are recorded at the time of examination of import goods; at the time of export,
cross verification of the goods under export is done with the help of related import documents to
ascertain whether the goods under export are the very ones which were imported earlier.
Where the goods are not put into use after import, 98% of duty drawback is admissible at the
maximum under Section 74 of the Customs Act, 1962. In cases where the goods are put into use in
India after import but prior to its export, duty drawback is granted on a sliding scale basis depending
upon the extent of use of the goods. No duty drawback is available if the goods are put into use for a
period exceeding 36 months after import. Application for duty drawback is required to be made within
3 months from the date of export of goods. If the primary elements of Section 74 as

Ethos, Logos And Pathos In The Achievement Habit By...
In the book, The Achievement Habit, by Bernard Roth, chapter two reasons are bullshit, he gives
multiple examples on ethos, logos, and pathos. Logos which is the logical appeal, ethos are the ethical
appeal, and pathos which is the emotional appeal to the reader. In chapter two, reasons are bullshit the
author talks about the reasons people give are pointless. He also states that people should stop giving
excuses. That any kind of excuse, besides being sick or a death in the family, should not be accepted.
This book by Bernard Roth is intended for the audience of college students. I believe that chapter two

Invariably, after a frantic hour of aggressive and dangerous driving, I would arrive with an apology,
explaining that the highway was unusually congested. The board chairman always graciously assured
me that the main thing was that I arrived safely. Still, I had held things up, and the other board
members, who had arrived on time, were clearly not thrilled. Deep down I knew that the highway
traffic was not the real issue.
The story that Roth told of his own experience is a good example of ethos. Roth had given an excuse
to his colleagues that wasn t true. If Roth would have left on time he would have made it to his
meeting on time. Roth said excuses are bullshit., yet he used an excuse. Roth was not being fair to his
colleagues when he showed up late and said the traffic was bad, even though the traffic was perfectly
fine. He just didn t leave at the time that he needed to leave to get to the meeting on time.
The definition of logos is an appeal to logic and is a way of persuading an audience by reason. Roth
gives a good example on if there is something you really want to do but you keep giving excuses on

Literary style and works
Many people hold the opinion that there has been no American writer like Ernest Hemingway. A
member of the World War I lost generation, Hemingway was in many ways his own best character.
Whether as his childhood nickname of Champ or as the older Papa, Ernest Hemingway became a
legend of his own lifetime. Although the drama and romance of his life sometimes seem to
overshadow the quality of his work, Hemingway was first and foremost a literary scholar, a writer and
reader of books. Hemingway enjoyed being famous, and delighted in playing for the public spotlight.
However, Hemingway considered himself an artist, and he did not want to become celebrated for all ...

Leon Edel has attacked Hemingway for his `Lack of substance as he called it. According to him,
Hemingway s fiction is deficient in serious subject matter. It is a world of superficial action and
almost wholly without reflection such reflection as there is tends to be on a rather crude and simplified
level . (10)
The majority of his early novels were narrated in the first person and enclosed within a single point of
view, however, when Hemingway wrote For Whom the Bell Tolls, he used several different narrative
techniques. He employed the use of internal monologues (where the reader is in the mind of a
particular character), objective descriptions, rapid shifts of point of view, and in general a looser
structure than in his earlier works. Hemingway believed that a writer s style should be direct and
personal, his imagery rich and earthy, and his words simple and vigorous. The greatest writers have
the gift of brevity, are hard workers, diligent scholars and competent stylists. For Whom the Bell Tolls
is the most serious and politically motivated novel that Hemingway wrote. There are few comic or
light episodes in the entire book. For Whom the Bell Tolls is an attempt to present in depth a country
and people that Hemingway loved very much. It was an effort to deal honestly with a very complex
war made even more complex by the beliefs it inspired. Ernest Hemingway s style, with its consistent

Burghardt (W.E.B.) Du Bois is considered more of a history maker than a historian(Aptheker, The
Historian ). Dr. Du Bois conducted the initial research on the black experience in the United States.
Civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. have referred to Du Bois as a father of the Civil
Rights Movement. Du Bois conducted the initial research on the black experience in the United States,
and paved the way for the Pan African and Black Power movements. This paper will describe his life,

The same year the dissertation was published, Du Bois began to teach Latin, Greek, German, and
English at Wilberforce University in Ohio. After teaching for several years, Du Bois conducted an
exhaustive study of the social and economic conditions of urban blacks in Philadelphia in 1896 and
1897. The results were published in the Philadelphia Negro (1899). This was the first sociological text
on a black community published in the United States. In 1897 Du Bois moved to Atlanta University,
where he taught economics and history for more than a decade. His most widely acclaimed work, The
Souls of Black Folk (1903) was published during his time in Atlanta. With The Souls of Black Folk,
Du Bois had begun to challenge the leadership of Booker T. Washington, a fellow educator who was
then the most influential and admired black in the United States. Washington, who had faith in the
future of his race in the country, believed that hard work, patience, and self pride would build their
character and eventually earn them their civil rights. This is evident in Washington s The Future of the
American Negro. He shows the impatient extremists within the Negroes of the North whose ill
considered, incendiary utterances tend to add to the burdens of our people in the South rather than
relieve them. ( Washington, Discovering Authors) During the Atlanta Exposition, Washington gave a

However, there has not been much movement throughout the class s at all. The ACMD was put in

The reasoning for this was to take the politics out of decisions made upon drug harm assessments, as it
has been highly common with party leaders world wide to battle between who can be hardest on drugs

Design issues As like any other building the design of the Empire State building is prone to bad
design. A bad design could pose a major risk as any miscalculation or oversight would mean that its
structure may not be able to handle the stress and enormous loads. Design may show low probability
but will have very high impact if the building comes crashing down. The Empire State Building was
the first commercial construction project to employ the technique of fast track construction, a
commonplace approach today but very new in the early 20th Century. This technique consists of
starting the construction process before the designs are fully completed in order to reduce delays and
inflation costs. In this case, it was imperative to use the fast track construction method to win the race
for the tallest building (2). Force majeure By definition, force majeure is a superior force , also known
as cas fortuit (French) or casus fortuitus (Latin) chance occurrence, unavoidable accident (11). Force
majeure may be repeated heavy hail, or an earthquake, or a hurricane. The building is intended to
stand for some years should be able to meet these challenges. A flexible structure may avoid
destruction in an earthquake, while a more solid building with good masonry would be destroyed.
Earthquakes can also result in foundation problems when moist filled land liquefies (13). The Empire

How Is Holden Caulfield Crazy
Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye only likes the innocent parts of people. Throughout the
book we are given examples of how Holden has different feelings based on who he is talking to. Three
important characters in the book give three different personalities that add up to the overall conclusion
that Holden is crazy.
Stradlater is one of the most non innocent characters in the story, and we see throughout the book
Holden picking fights with him. He is known to take girls on dates and rape them in the back of his
coaches car. After he takes Holden s childhood friend, Jane, on a date, he refuses to tell Holden what
they did. Holden assumes he tried to rape her and take away her innocence, and immediately he grows
in hatred toward Stradlater. The text says, I told him he didn t care because he was a goddam stupid
moron. He hated it when you called him a moron. All morons hate when you call them a moron. (50)
Holden then gets into a big fight with Stradlater. In the story he calls him, A dirty stupid sonuvabitch
moron. (50) And says, That s just the trouble with all you morons. You never want to discuss anything.
That s the way you can always tell a moron. They never want to discuss anything. (50) He yells at
Stradlater, tries to anger him, and ends up losing in a fight to him. This is the first time Holden shows
hatred toward someone in the story. Someone that has taken away someone else s innocence. Overall,
these pieces from the text give us evidence of Holden

Effects Of Curriculum On Elementary School Physical Education
In Step 2 the authors stated purpose was to Determine the effects of a curriculum designed by
following social constructivist learning theory on learning fitness knowledge critical to healthful
living in elementary school physical education. Specifically, we asked whether and to what extent
curriculum influences elementary school students knowledge gain in three areas important to fitness
development and healthful living: cardiorespiratory health, muscular capacity, and the principle of
maintaining body flexibility and good nutrition. (Sun, Chen, Zhu Ennis, 2012, p. 217). After finishing
their research study, the authors asserted that the results of the investigation concluded that The
superior knowledge gain in students who experienced the treatment curriculum can be attributed to the
impact of the curriculum. Contributing factors include curricular coherence and the emphasis on
helping students internalize the knowledge and skills in the curriculum and creating a highly learning
oriented learning community in which ZPDs can be meaningfully determined for students to enrich
the learning experience. With the development of redefining learning as conceptual change in
education, the evidence, based on knowledge gain determined by standardized tests, may be limiting

understanding of the power of curriculum on learning. (Sun, Chen, Zhu Ennis, 2012, p. 228). The

Makings of a Tragic Hero
A possible theme for Oedipus the King by Sophocles is that one s blindness can hide the inevitability
that is his destiny. Oedipus is in this situation. He struggles to escape his fate: killing his father and
marrying his mother and believes he is successful. Sophocles believes that the gpds control one s
destiny and the inevitability that a person will do what is destined despite there hero s
intentions.Oedipus represent the standards of a true tragic hero: he is well known, basically good, his
punishment is out of proportion compared to his crime, the audience at some point feels sorrow and
pity for him, and Oedipus has a tragic flaw. During the whole story Oedipus thinks that he may be able
to change his fate a live life how he wants but he falls to that which is his destiny. For these reason
Oedipus is truly an example of a tragic hero and is unable to avoid his tragic fate.
Oedipus is well known and prominent and that is important to making him a true tragic hero. A tragic
hero is always in a place of power usually politically. In the beginning of the story Oedipus is the son
of the queen and king of Thebes, but because of a prophecy his Father fears his child and expels him
out of the kingdom. Yet through strange transactions the baby ends up becoming the prince of Corinth,
but he leaves to try to escape his cruel fate. On his journey he encounters a sphinx, by solving the

Lego tank sets provide children with hours of playtime fun. Building the tank is a wonderful learning

I will be analyzing the picture from 60 of the most powerful advertisements. The ad shows how the

inside their bodies. The ad shows a picture of a dead bird laying in the middle of the road. The bird is
shown with trash off the roadways that people throw out when they are going down the road and the
bird does not just find trash off the road it is everywhere. The advertisement that I am using does not
show bold, bright colors, the trash inside the bird has depressing colors of black and whites. When I
think of trash I do not think of color I think of sad and depressing with dark colors as in grey, black

the bird contain pop lids, plastic and tubes of some sort. The background behind the focal point is the
road to show all the trash along the roadways that this bird has swallowed. This ad caught my
attention because I did not think about the trash and how it would affect wild animals, all I was
thinking about was the way trash affects the community. Littering is a crime but not enforced enough.
What we do not realize is how much trash we create in one day. The picture lacks in ethos for
advertisements but does have really good pathos and logos. The trash you use needs to go in the trash
if not an animal will pick it up for you which will later on kill them due to the

Traditional Native American Culture
Long before the white man discovered America, people have already been living here. These people
are known as the Native Americans. As the settlers came to the native land, they brought firm beliefs
with them that ended up causing great conflicts with the native people. It was clear that the travelers
and the native people could not live among one another since the native people has their own set of
values and they were much different than the white man s beliefs. Traditional Lakota spirituality is a
form of religious belief that each thing, plant and animal has a spirit. The traditional Native American
community was a small group of related families. Each community included a headman, a man would
accomplish this position of leadership by demonstrating characteristics valued by the group, such as
generosity, wisdom, fortitude, and spiritual power gained through dreams and visions. The Natives felt
that the more isolated and rural the population was the more traditional it tended to be. Fraternal
societies were also significant within the community life. Memberships to this society was by

Compare And Contrast Liberalism And Socialism
These past few weeks we as a class have read and discussed so many different political ideologies
including liberalism and socialism. According to John Rawls s theory of justice for a liberal society,
liberalism can be seen as the interpretation of two principles, where the goal is to make the person
who is worst of better on distributive shares and also to attempt to even out class barriers, school
system be it public or private. Rawls s starts with the idea that citizens do not deserve to be born into a
rich or a poor family, to be born naturally more or less gifted than others, to be born female or male, to
be born a member of a particular racial group All social goods are to be distributed equally, unless an
unequal distribution would be to everyone s advantage. Whereas socialism is similar where they want
everyone to be equal, to have equal amounts, and to the rid a society of a free market. Socialism s
intent is to only have those consuming producing. Any inequalities must improve everyone s situation,
and especially the situation of the worst off. Justice is like a social contract in which people come
together to choose the basic principles that will govern their society. Justice is the first virtue of social
institutions. Injustice is simply inequalities that are not to the benefit of all. The Main idea of the
theory of justice is the theory of social contract as found in say Locke, Rousseau, and Kant. There is a
guiding idea is that the principles of justice for

Analysis Of Edgar Allan Poe s I Became Insane, With...
As stated by Edgar Allen Poe, a prominent gothic author, I became insane, with long intervals of
horrible sanity (Poe). Gothic authors were known for writing about insanity, but also becoming insane
themselves. Poe was one of the authors that were known for becoming insane after writing about it for
so long. Gothic period authors use terror and horror throughout novels, as well. Gothic literature was
written in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century. American Gothicism adapted the writing
techniques and from European Gothicism. American authors adapted plots from others and made them
into their own. The movement began by writing about the terrifying Indians of the frontier (Snodgrass
1). Gothic literature draws on a combination of terror and romanticism as its foundation. Movement
authors incorporated more psychological aspects into the novels instead of peaceful aspects. Edgar
Allan Poe, Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne are influential authors of the movement. The
authors incorporate the unique qualities of gothic literature in their works. In particular, Gothic period
author Charles Brockden Brown incorporates the two characteristics of insanity and an atmosphere of
mystery in his novels Wieland and Edgar Huntley.
Undoubtedly, Gothicism was meant to focus on the darker side of human nature (Gothic Literature).
This literary movement began from authors that believed the novels in the transcendentalism
movement were too optimistic. The readers became

those at risk for gambling addiction are people being treated for Parkinson s disease or restless leg
syndrome with medications. Also people diagnosed as bipolar are higher risk. Most experts agree that
gambling addictioin is mostly likely the combination of several biological vulnerabilities (Dryden
Edwards). Diagnostics for gambling addiction is based on ruling out other psychological disorders.
The doctors would want to do complete physical, run blood tests and do a full psychological
evaluation. It is believed that most people who have a gambling addiction also suffer from some other
mental disorder. The only way for a gambling addict to ever recover is for the addict to admit they
actually have a problem. If the patient is in denial there is no possibility of recovery. They must first

Analysis On The Data Collected For The Present Study
Introduction This chapter presents the results of the analysis on the data collected for the present study
(i.e., pre writing test, immediate post writing test, and delayed post writing test). It describes statistical
analysis of the differences in the number of each cohesive device (i.e., reference, substitution, ellipsis,
and conjunction) in the three tests conducted within and among three treatment groups (i.e., direct
feedback group, coding with underline group, and control (no feedback) group). The short and long
term effects of WCF are examined by comparing the pre writing test with the immediate post writing
test and the delayed post writing test. The statistical analyses in this chapter are conducted to
investigate the following ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For the second research question, the pre test and the immediate post test essays are compared within
each group by using the paired t test. In addition, the one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was
conducted to investigate the difference in the number of each cohesive device between the three
treatment groups. The same statistical analysis was conducted for the fourth research question; the pre
test and the post test essays are compared within groups as well as the number of cohesive devices in
the post test essays was compared between groups. Before proceeding with the statistical analysis for
the research questions, homogeneity of the pre test essay between groups was verified; the researcher
conducted the one way ANOVA to ensure that there is no significant difference in the number of
cohesive devices employed in the pre test essay. The significant level was set at 0.05 ( 0.05). Except
for the difference, no other significant difference was found for the coded group. As for the direct
group, the results showed no significant difference in any kinds of cohesive devices. Table 10

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles ( Uavs )
Drones, or formally referred to as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), are machines that primarily
controlled through remote controls or computers. Individuals on the ground are the ones who usually
control the flight of this vehicle through a remote control. However, depending on the type and model
of the drone, autonomous flight can occur through the embedded computer systems of the drone. Due
to the vast amounts shapes and sizes of drones, there is not set standard when classifying this type of
vehicle (Corrigan, 2015). However, the military does use a system for classifying the size of drones as
this technology is used regularly in this area. This system will be discussed in further detail in the later
portions of this section. Drones ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Numerous propellers are manufactured out of plastic and carbon fiber, which is often reserved for
drones of higher quality (Corrigan, 2015). To limit the amount of damage done to the propellers,
propeller guards can be purchased and used to prevent unwanted outside contact with the drones.
These guards also ensure the safety of individuals both controlling the drone remotely and those who
may be located near the flight path. Significant amounts of innovation are occurring with this
particular drone component. As the quality of propellers increase, the better the flight experience will
be for owners. One of the sizable innovations in this area involves low noise propellers as drones are
often known for making a buzzing sound as they fly through the air. Pusher Propellers As stated in the
name, these propellers are responsible for pushing the drone through the air and are located at the rear
of the drone. However, unlike the standard propellers located at the front of the drone, these actually
rotate opposite of the direction of the standard propellers (Quimby, 2015). This action cancels out
motor torques during stationary flight. These propellers, same as the standard propellers, are also
made of either plastic and carbon fiber. In addition, drone propeller guards can be bought and placed
around the propellers. Brushless Motors Brushless motors are considered to be a high performance
motor that is capable of providing large amounts of torque over a vast speed

Reasons On Violent Video Games Should Be Banned
Student name: Dinh Tri Vo (James) Topic: Violent video games should be banned Opening/Attention:
Violent video games have been in market for a few decades. Although researchers have not proven
that playing violent video games directly leads to violent behaviors such as shooting, killing or
fighting, I strongly believe that violent video games must be banned because: a) They have negative
impacts on children and adolescents, and the influences are very significant, which may result in a
violent society. b) So many tragic incidents related to violent video games happens around the world,
leaving regret and anger among the public. c) They also cause players to have an unhealthy lifestyle,
diminish relationships with other people around them, or get them into other health related issues.
Spoken Link/Transition: Reasons mentioned above are now demonstrated more clearly by stories
Emotion/Story: 1. The massacre in Norway, 2011. A 33 year old man called Anders Behring Brevik
killed 69 people and injured 33 others, many of whom are young adults, in a booming and shooting
attack in Oslo, the capital city of Norway. He said later in the court that his target victim was 600.
Even though his action was inspired by other terrorists and motivated by politics and culture related
issues, he did play Call of Duty to train for his massacre. It is also known that he spent an average of
almost 7 hours a day in nearly half of a year playing World of Warcraft before making the tragedy. 2.

Summary of The Lesson Essay
Summary of The Lesson
In this story the author tells us about a girl named Sylvia, the narrator, who lives in a very low income
family. A place where school is not a priority. A place where it is more important to be strong and
hard, than to read a book. This was the thought anyway, before Miss. Moore moved in. She was a
school teacher who took it upon herself to teach the neighborhood kids. On one summer afternoon in
particular she was going to take the kids into town on a field trip. The kids are not at all happy about
this because they know it is summer break and they are not supposed to be in school in the summer.
They would rather be at the pool playin , but Miss. Moore knows that if these kids want a chance at a
better life, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before going into the store, Miss. Moore tells the kids that they should first just look in the window
before going in. Sugar, one of the kids, asks if they can steal as if it were really an option. Peering thru
the window the kids began to see the cultural difference in where they were from and the kids who
must shop here. There was no way they could ever afford any of this stuff, and they knew they did not
belong. Miss. Moore was explaining what things were, how they worked, and how much they are in
comparison to things like allowances. Some of the things the kids see, they see useless and it has to be
explained why anyone would need such a thing, such as the paperweight. Then the kids saw it, the sail
boat that the kids saw in the window that was way too expensive for any of them to ever own, one kid
even recollected getting spanked for sinking a boat that cost one dollar and this sail boat cost one
thousand one hundred ninety five dollars. The kids were truly amazed by this. Sylvia was so confused
that she thought that a real yacht would cost about one thousand dollars. Miss. Moore decided it was
then time for the kids to go into the store. These strong willed kids who at the beginning of the story
thought they were so sly, suddenly felt awkward and afraid to go into the store. They felt that they did
not belong. The kids walked gently, hardly touching anything. Sylvia was upset that Miss. Moore

  • 2. Luxury Brand Marketing LUXURY BRAND MARKETING What is LUXURY? While the word luxury is used in daily lives to refer to certain lifestyle, the underlying construct s definition is consumer and situation specific. If you earn less than 15000 a month, a pair of reebok shoes would be a really big luxury item for you. On the other hand, if you are going to a party with some big wigs a $100,000 car may not be a luxury. The word luxury originates from the Latin term luxus signifying, soft or extravagant living, indulgence, sumptuousness or opulence The meaning of luxury is extremely subjective and multidimensional in nature. It depends on dimension such as high price, high quality, uniqueness, exclusivity etc. What is a luxury product? In economic terms, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Mohan for Gucci buzz has engendered new aspirations in the circuit that goes beyond the hostess or the grander sounding luxury consultant tags. The socialite is becoming more important in a luxury brand s marketing strategy as she pulls in the right kind of crowd, says Priya Sachdev, creative director for TSG International Marketing that has brought brands like YSL, Diane von Furstenberg to India. Nichevertising Brand consultant and strategist Harish Bijoor of Harish Bijoor Consults loftily terms it nichevertise vs massvertise . According to him the luxury brands are not for mass consumption and shouldn t be mass advertised. • 3. Satan In The War Of Art Essay Evil, chaos, and mass destruction are words that surface the mind when Satan is mentioned. An expression of pure evil, Satan is often looked at as one to steer afar from. Yet, there is a time and place of everything and even the character of Satan serves a purpose. For there is no good without its opposing force evil. If you look at yourself and all things you love about yourself you will realize that all of these qualities do not come from not you , they are more of external loves that only exist in relation to you . It is humans that feed resistance with our fear in the same way we attach labels of good/bad or evil to objects. Moving forward with this concept, it is the human consciousness that creates good and bad. This is seen in the common representation of consciousness with an angel and devil sitting on one s shoulders influencing the thoughts and decisions at hand. Every action a being makes is rationalized. A hawk may swoop down and kill the chipmunk for survival. This is just as a normal of a happening as a dog drinking water from his or her drinking bowl. • 5. Persuasive Essay On Fake News Almost 1.8 billion people use Facebook, and about half of American adults use as their main news source. According to Cambridge Dictionary, fake news is false stories that appear to be news, spread on the internet or using other media, usually created to influence political views or as a joke. Currently, many people are debating over the problem of fake news. For example, in the 2016 election, two candidates were chosen, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. As many citizens possessed different political views, some started to create posts and articles to try and change other s political opinions. As a result of this, companies were criticized for not taking measures to reduce the amount of fake news. Later, companies started to take control of their software, as it is essential to handle fake news as most people receive their information from these outlets. Although some argue that the spread of fake news is the fault of the people who create it, it should be largely the company s responsibility to control its spread; they should add algorithms to determine a post s validity. During the 2016 presidential election, Facebook was greatly disparaged for not making an attempt to counter fake news. Although Mark Zuckerberg mentioned that Facebook had no connection with the outcome of the election, some thought otherwise. For example, a man named Eric Tucker took a picture of a road filled with buses who he claimed were filled with protesters who he thought would march against Donald ... In elementary school, I was able to write and read efficiently. However, my comprehension of what as I read as I got older was not as good as it could have been. I was able to read books and understand the main points, but often I would forget little details. My past few years in English have been successful and I have been able to achieve many of the goals I have set for myself as an English student. In this paper, I will address my strengths, my weaknesses, what I enjoy the most, and how I learn the best. I have some strengths and weaknesses and ways I learn the best doing hands on learning and activities. My strengths in English are writing papers and doing hands on stuff. My weaknesses are comprehending things and doing bookwork. In my previous years of English, I have done well and my grades are proof of that. I have averaged A s and B s. One of my major strengths has been projects where I have to make a google slide presentation and then present it in front of the class. Tests are also a strong point for me in English. This is because I am able to make connections easily and link ideas back to main details. However, sometimes I struggle to make connections if I did not understand or enjoy the material, but for the most part, making connections and doing well on tests has always been a strength of mine. Discuss the strategies and techniques the performer may use to manage anxiety in the build up to the competition. Anxiety is the negative aspect of experiencing stress. Anxiety is the worry and unpleasant feeling experienced because of the fear or possibility of failure. Anxiety is seen to cause a negative impact on performance especially when levels are high. Anxiety can cause many side effects. These effects of anxiety are split into two categories: Cognitive and somatic anxiety. Cognitive anxiety is the thoughts, nervousness, apprehension or worry that a performer has about their lack of ability to complete a task ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Here the performer is monitored electronically on any physiological variables such as heart rate and sweating (using a galvanic skin response). Once these levels rise because of anxiety then the performer will think of pleasant thoughts to then reduce anxiety. The performer can also use breathing control to reduce anxiety. This involves diaphragmatic breathing (breathing deeply) as a means of focusing on relaxation. Another somatic technique similar to breathing control is centering. Here the performer focuses on the rate of breathing and maintaining a slow, steady pace. These both keep you more focused and help to avoid any possible distractions. The final somatic technique that can be used is progressive muscular relaxation. Here you tense your muscles one by one for a few seconds from head to toe. This then leaves each muscle more relaxed than normal helping to reduce anxiety levels and its effects. The majority of these techniques, both cognitive and somatic must be practiced and learnt in training in order for them to become effective when competing. A performer can also use Goal setting to manage their anxiety levels. By using the SMARTER principle of goal setting the performer will set realistic and achievable goals. • 10. Public Opinion Polls Have Both Flaws And Encouraging Data Before I go into answering the questions directly, it should be understood that public opinion polls have both flaws and encouraging data. Pubic opinion polls if done appropriately will give the general feel of how the population is feeling towards an issue. It all depends on whether the sampling is comparative to the population, for example if you have a population of One Hundred Thousand and you only sample one hundred, the results will not be as accurate if the sampling size was bigger. Also, the person conducting the interviews of these opinion polls must not be biased to one side or the other. They must remain centered on the subject and not influence the answers that are given. Asking specific questions about real issues can result is promising polling data. Opinion polls should be used to collect data, and must also be used in a way that reflects accurate data. By not having accurate data that can lead to bad decision making or lead to mistrust among the community and the police departments. One of the biggest missuses of opinion polls was in the presidential election in the 1948 were the Chicago Daily Tribune printed election results on bad opinion polling and looked foolish for doing so. So these polls should be used with caution and constructed in a way that does not allow for misrepresentation of the publics true views as it has in the past. The Effects Of Terrorism On Terrorism And Terrorism Effects of Terrorism The history of terrorism is a history of well known and historically significant individuals, entities, and incidents associated, whether rightly or wrongly, with terrorism, (History of Terrorism). The history of terrorism is a long bloody road. One of the bloodiest of acts of terrorism in the early years, was the reign of terror. In which, the Jacobin leader, Maximilien Robespierre, executed 40,000 people. Newspapers coined the word Terrorism as a way of describing Robespierre and his followers actions (History of Terrorism). The Jacobins then gave themselves the honor of calling themselves Terrorists (History of Terrorism). Which became the first use of the word. The word was first used to describe someone who takes advantage of their power, but later evolved into the meaning it is today. Today terrorism simply means: use of force or threats to demoralize, intimidate, and subjugate, esp. such use as a political weapon or policy. (Webster s New World College Dictionary). Terrorism has dramatically increased since the beginning. Nowadays, in some countries, it seems almost inescapable. In countries like Iraq, terrorism is a day to day event. If Roth would have left on time he would have made it to his meeting on time. Roth said excuses are bullshit., yet he used an excuse. It is a world of superficial action and almost wholly without reflection such reflection as there is tends to be on a rather crude and simplified level . (10) The majority of his early novels were narrated in the first person and enclosed within a single point of view, however, when Hemingway wrote For Whom the Bell Tolls, he used several different narrative techniques. He employed the use of internal monologues (where the reader is in the mind of a particular character), objective descriptions, rapid shifts of point of view, and in general a looser structure than in his earlier works. Hemingway believed that a writer s style should be direct and personal, his imagery rich and earthy, and his words simple and vigorous. The greatest writers have the gift of brevity, are hard workers, diligent scholars and competent stylists. For Whom the Bell Tolls is the most serious and politically motivated novel that Hemingway wrote. There are few comic or light episodes in the entire book. The Empire State Building was the first commercial construction project to employ the technique of fast track construction, a commonplace approach today but very new in the early 20th Century. This technique consists of starting the construction process before the designs are fully completed in order to reduce delays and inflation costs. Rawls s starts with the idea that citizens do not deserve to be born into a rich or a poor family, to be born naturally more or less gifted than others, to be born female or male, to be born a member of a particular racial group All social goods are to be distributed equally, unless an unequal distribution would be to everyone s advantage. To limit the amount of damage done to the propellers, propeller guards can be purchased and used to prevent unwanted outside contact with the drones. These guards also ensure the safety of individuals both controlling the drone remotely and those who may be located near the flight path. Significant amounts of innovation are occurring with this particular drone component. As the quality of propellers increase, the better the flight experience will be for owners. One of the sizable innovations in this area involves low noise propellers as drones are often known for making a buzzing sound as they fly through the air.
