Introduction
It is fascinating to observe social interactions in a large place. More importantly, analyzing how
people interact on grounds of social stratification, power, wealth, prestige, ascribed status, and
achieved status. Last weekend, I visited Boston Common Park to purposely observe how people are
interacting with one another. I was equipped with a notebook to jot down some important observations

My initial focus was the master of ceremony who was a Black American. I saw that whenever he was
welcoming guest, his interaction was socially stratified. First, whenever he greeted White people, he

treated with modesty and even led to their reserved seats while those who appeared to be casually
dressed were casually greeted and asked to find a place to seat. In this scenario, I found two
ethnographic characteristics in play. First, the event manager used social stratification as a mode to

cognitive impairment when compared to athletes who do not have a history of multiple head
injuries/traumas. A sample of 30 athletes with multiple head injuries/traumas, and 30 athletes without

Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS) as a dependent

Climate change is undeniably one of the biggest problems which the world at large is currently having
to deal with. There are many factors that are causing climate change but more importantly, there are
numerous ways to combat it.
One of countless examples is environmental damage. Through this issue, mega cities like Delhi which
is the capital city of economically developing India suffer constantly with problems like smog. Due to
New Delhi being blanketed in thick smog, their very own chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has labelled
the mega city as a gas chamber . This major problem leads to severe consequences which were
suffered at the hands of the Delhi citizens who were choking, rendering them unable to breathe
properly. It is clear that the smog that floats above cities is the most obvious form of air pollution and
in turn, environmental pollution. In megacities like Mexico City, cars are indeed the main source of
pollutants and an effective way to combat this problem is introducing electric cars which do not run on
petrol or diesel. Electric cars reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions where common fuel
would emit a large quantity of carbon dioxide and additional gases. If these gases were to pollute the

that which can lead from a tasteless joke to genocide. Stereotyping is simply an overall widespread
generalization. They are formed from second hand information from close community member that
use outdated information or are not an expert with that particular culture/community. Stereotypes are
usually formed in situations when a person would suffer from information overload and in some cases,

Steinbeck use the imagery of nature to illustrate the outcome of disaster because of a character s
friendship or faith in loyalty. For example, Shakespeare s use of pathetic fallacy in scene three of King
Lear exemplifies the tension of Lear s struggle elevating his forces to the level of natural forces. The
author uses the storm to illustrate Lear s rage and despair caused by his deceitful daughters. He states,

women, Shakespeare and Steinbeck explore the destruction of relationships. In Shakespeare s play
King Lear, the dominant female roles are given to Goneril and Regan who manipulate others through

Online Music Video Analysis
For those that have yet to encounter the listening experience of vinyl I encourage you to do so now.
These videos do not fully project the real life experience vinyl provides to the listener but it does meet
some of the criteria. The first video is Mozart on vinyl. There s something intriguing and also
appealing to hear the popping and cracking from the commencement of the record. This video
demonstrates just that. This experience is not common on all vinyl records but it s definitely one of my
favorites. The second video is Beethoven s Moonlight Sonata. As a vinyl enthusiast I enjoy seeing the
record spin around and around as if the music is coming off the record. Lastly, the third video is Frank
Mills Music box dancer. As it was stated previously vinyl sounds feel more alive this is a perfect
depiction. The piano sounds as if someone is playing directly inside the room.

As music continues to be in existence as will vinyl whether it s in a subtle form amongst collectors or
widely progressing amongst a new generation. Throughout my duration in this course one of my key
learnings has been that the old becomes the new and the new becomes the old. Our textbook served as
a time capsule that provided a glimpse into the past. At the conclusion of every chapter I was able to
make references from the past to the present. This notion may not apply to all content presented but
items that resonate with individuals that link them to places, people and times of the past seem to
reappear. This was one of the reasons why I selected the theme of vinyl. It s a timeless piece that that
signifies more than just a record. My father s vinyl collection remains in my possession up until this
