About 16 million girls under age 18 give birth each year. Another 3.2
million undergo unsafe abortions . On this World Population Day, we raise
awareness of the issue of adolescent pregnancy in the hopes of
delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is
safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.
With the help of
demographers and
UNOs and USs
survey council, it is
estimated that until
year 2050 , the
population will
reach above 12.5
millions.
Human population
control is the practice
of artificially altering the
rate of growth of a
human population .
