Our Employment Service program leverages technology platforms and services to connect
job seekers with employers and offers funding grants and resources to facilitate hiring.
Through Corporate Learning, we deliver workforce-training solutions aligned with labour
market demand that focuses on jobs, contemporary skills and people.
Our participants gain practical knowledge that can be applied to workplace challenges and
improve individual and organizational performance. Our goal is to support our partners
ability to grow and prosper.

Career Services
Career Services provides prospective students with career advising appointments utilizing a
Career Coach assessment; recommending programs that align with their career goals.
Current students access a variety of resources including an online interactive job board,
interviewing software, labour market information, as well as in-person coaching on resumes,
cover letters, job search strategies, networking and interviewing techniques. In addition,
Career Services also offers a variety of resources and services to employers - whether it be
posting to our job board, recruiting on-campus, hiring a student/graduate or taking on a
placement student.
Employment Service
Across our region, we design and execute workforce programs in partnership with business-
es, educators, and providers. We support the development of education and skills training
while connecting jobs to people and people to jobs. Through our work, we’re known for our
expertise in:
• Meeting the needs of workers and businesses;
• Innovative programming;
• Creating multiple education and employment pathways for teens and young adults to
succeed; and
• Building Eastern Ontario’s workforce development capacity.
Corporate Learning and Performance Improvement
Public or open enrollment programs are scheduled throughout the year as one-day or
week-long immersions in a particular topic. They allow people to learn in an interactive
environment and connect with peers from their region.
Custom or intact-team training adjusts college and instructor content to reflect examples,
templates and realities of the client organization. Relevance and transfer of new skills are
heightened when employees apply new learning to specific company examples or issues.
