2. Total People Limited – A brief overview of
the organisation
Total People is committed to achieving the highest standards in all
areas of its business and aims to offer a complete service to
employers for all their workforce development needs.
Total People is one of the largest suppliers of work-based learning in
the North West of England. As a company, we reinvest all surplus
revenue straight back into improving our training initiatives. The
Ofsted inspection in December 2012, rated Total People as ‘Good
-Grade 2’ placing it in the top 15% of training providers in the entire
country.
Total People will seek to configure the design, resources, content
and organisation of the Apprenticeship programme around the
specific needs of each organisation and their Apprentices, to reflect
a professional ethos that accepts and assumes every learner comes
to the programme with a different knowledge base and skills set, as
well as varying aptitudes and aspirations. We will strive to ensure
that every learner’s needs are assessed and their talents developed.
Each Apprentice is allocated a dedicated Training Advisers who will
be on hand to support and guide them throughout their programme
of learning.
Apprentices will access flexible learning programmes and will be
provided with access to a comprehensive web-based resource
library ‘LearnerZone’, to enhance their learning experience.
Advisers will provide regular on-going support for Apprentices to
enable them to confidently interpret the
standards and criteria of the awards.
