This document proposes improvements to existing reverse dictionary systems. It discusses how current reverse dictionaries map user input phrases to words using semantic similarity, but sometimes return unrelated words. The proposed improvements are:
1. Refine the mapping process to consider candidate words that appear in at least two of the input terms' semantic sets, rather than requiring inclusion in all sets. This may return more relevant words.
2. When expanding queries using hypernyms, limit the level of generalization to avoid overly broad terms. Broad terms are more likely to appear in unrelated words' definitions.
3. Determine the part-of-speech of terms in the user's input phrase and return candidate words matching that part-of-speech,

The semantic Web service discovery has been given massive attention within the last few years. With the
increasing number of Web services available on the web, looking for a particular service has become very
difficult, especially with the evolution of the clients’ needs. In this context, various approaches to discover
semantic Web services have been proposed. In this paper, we compare these approaches in order to assess
their maturity and their adaptation to the current domain requirements. The outcome of this comparison
will help us to identify the mechanisms that constitute the strengths of the existing approaches, and
thereafter will serve as guideline to determine the basis for a discovery approach more adapted to the
current context of Web services.

algorithms exist, we have considered optimal and portable WSD algorithms as most appropriate since they
can be embedded easily in applications of computational linguistics. This paper will also provide an idea of
some of the WSD algorithms and their performances, which compares and assess the need of the word
sense disambiguation.
Computing semantic similarity between two words comes with variety of approaches. This is mainly
essential for the applications such as text analysis, text understanding. In traditional system search engines are used to compute the similarity between words. In that search engines are keyword based. There is one drawback that user should know what exactly they are looking for. There are mainly two main approaches for computation namely

This system provides efficient and effective approach for computing term similarity using semantic network approach. A clustering approach is used in order to improve the

Word embedding has become the most popular method of lexical description
in a given context in the natural language processing domain, especially
through the word to vector (Word2Vec) and global vectors (GloVe)
implementations. Since GloVe is a pre-trained model that provides access to
word mapping vectors on many dimensionalities, a large number of
applications rely on its prowess, especially in the field of sentiment analysis.
However, in the literature, we found that in many cases, GloVe is
implemented with arbitrary dimensionalities (often 300d) regardless of the
length of the text to be analyzed. In this work, we conducted a study that
identifies the effect of the dimensionality of word embedding mapping
vectors on short and long texts in a sentiment analysis context. The results
suggest that as the dimensionality of the vectors increases, the performance
metrics of the model also increase for long texts. In contrast, for short texts,
we recorded a threshold at which dimensionality does not matter.

Apart from such words, other meta-information and diverse effective features are also going to play an important role in influencing the sentiment polarity and contribute significantly to the performance of the system. In this paper, some of the associated information/meta-data are explored and investigated in the sentiment text. Based on the analysis results presented here, there is scope for further assessment and utilization of the meta-information as features in text categorization, ranking text document, identification of spam documents and polarity classification problems.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
