1. INTRODUCTION
Wireless services had become a new era in communication for the entire education vicinity, and this new concept of
mobility have a major impact on student learning and educator community. Personal digital assistants (PDA), tablet
computers, notebooks (laptop), computers, wireless networking and the cellular IP-telephone are liberating faculty,
staff and students out of the old restricted constraints for the traditional classroom. The need and emergence of
Wi-Fi technology is evident in many ways: (1) Campus learning resources available, (2) Online Module for student
registration, (3) Used to facilitate online courses, (4) Use of e-mail for communications for all stakeholders, (5) Fast
growth of distance learning via “www”, (6) Video conferencing & (7) Satellite television.
Information Technology (IT) continues to facilitate the education into a real time (Anytime /anywhere) experience.
Wireless technology enabled devices gives new modes for students to access information and interact with the
peers and teachers. For the faculty members the concept of classroom is altered. The stakeholders for the project are
Students/Educators/Administrators who can act accordingly with the help of the Information Exchange process to
create and manage the organized data for meaningful and originating system development and growth. This
becomes the main reason for implementation of the WIFI project at the university premises [1].
2. SCOPE OF WIRELESS PROJECT IN ACADEMICS
The suggested technology for achieving the above ambitions of the students and the staff members was none other
than Wi-Fi ( Wireless Fidelity) is licensed by the Wi-Fi Alliance to better understand the use of wireless local area
networks (WLAN) which is being given on the IEEE 802.11 wireless specifications [2]. Amongst the various
aspects due to which the mobility of the networks are in the market now a days includes the following:
Increased mobility and collaboration of information and files
• Roam without losing your connection in the entire campus wherever you need to.
ABSTRACT
The scope of the WIFI project is not limited to a specific realm of the participants in the university. As part of a five-year strategic plan of the IT
deanship, the project aims to create a consistent user experience across the various building of University, including the provision of wireless network
access. The access to the network on the go can be a really great endeavor for the information exchange and the information fetch at instances when
needed. This last issue became critical in the summer of 2014, when the more number of extra access point of the network are needed, which require
civil work and extra time to get ready. This was a very typical scenario in which wiring and cabling was a burden and an overhead for the entire
vicinity of the employees including the implementation team and the stakeholders. Moreover there are various issues that are known to everyone
regarding the cable LAN and its maintenance. We had already traditionally viewed wired as good enough for everybody, however over the past times
the scenario is changing and it is becoming a very drastic problem where the more the expansion of the network is done the more are the chances of
the faults in the network and the system designs. Thus it becomes a very needful situation where a solution is to be figured out for the networks and
its maintenance.

3. ADVANTAGES OF WIRELESS PROJECT IN ACADEMICS
Wireless Fidelity gave a Win-Win solution stakeholders of the university. It supports more traffic now and it also
delivers much faster transmission speeds as compared to the traditional modes of communication. Networks of the
past in university have been far more mobile experience than other universities offer. The employees are
empowered with the new digital revolution and can manage and plan the best for the lecture session and schedules.
Students Mind Set towards the Wi-Fi Project: The more open we are the better responsive our students shall be. We
have to create a flexible and open framework while working within financial reality [3]. This can be achieved by the
students in the coming time with the help of the on the go networks at their fingertips. In a competitive education
market, students demand a better teaching experience. Students wish to get all information and the lectures on the
go at the campus site wherever they want to. The will handle the same with the hand held or the laptops in their
hands and the power of IoT Era. This project has produced intense results that yields in the uplifting of the students
as well as the teacher community to give them a real taste and feel for a modern university. It isn’t intended just
about proper providing access, it’s about giving the right service and providing it with a relevant service context
[4]. Amongst the many hidden and non-exploited advantages and deliverables of the project some of them are listed

4. CONCLUSION
At the university we have facilitated the students and the staff members with the wireless services and have proved
that the induction done by the project to facilitate the life of all stake holders is done in a very smooth and
sophisticated manner. We have always tried to give the best to the community and the results are self-evident. Just
sharing few of the benefits from the existing entire range of goodies that the project bought to the university viz.
1. The system of wireless is indeed highly flexible and it had led to the increase in productivity of the fraternity.
2. The wireless technology can be readily used for the survey and the data collection after workshops and
conferences. We can now collect lot of data using online survey during the events that are held on the
university site as well.
3. The major issue for the File sharing and distribution of large files over network is readily overcome with the
help of the wireless fidelity.
4. A major use of the Wireless Technology is the Network printing which helps us to do all printing at a
centralized location using the Wi-Fi and facilitating the use of printing services at the university campus.
5. The modern era of tablets is the key resource area where we can as the students to appear in the small online
examination at their locations and appear for the tests and online assessments process. Thus it makes us
realize the work to be done with the person in a real manner. It also helps the teachers to have an in depth
evaluation of the students and provide proven results that cannot be altered or modified.
6. The staff member can now use various software or normal Excel sheets to take attendance of student using
his device and directly connect it to the online registration system where the entire range of student
information is maintained and helps to assess the student work evaluation.
7. A very important outcome of the wireless technology can be adjudged by the Activation of IP Telephony
services using the wireless network that had proved to be a very affective mode of cost management system
for communicating with many of the different persons and handled with very good results. The IP Telephony
makes it possible to handle the details for telephone calls and video calls made with the help of which we can
monitor the usage of the entire bandwidth of the university system.
8. The digital revolution across the globe had been a desire of all the nations and a major portion of the same is
the concept of the E-Office where all the communications are effectively hold on with the help of E-Office
and E-Mailers and can be handled in the smartest way one can think about.
9. As a part of the digital revolution almost all new applications are accessed using mobile device such as
E-learning and Archiving system and for the same reason we are taking care of the need of the hour. Wireless
Technology had given a drastic way to handle such system and making the availability of resources on the
go. No we have overcome the traditional file system approach in which searching a small document was a
big time tedious task to perform. It had facilitated the system of university to search any small document and
system resources on the go at fingertips making the life of the employees as well as the students happy.
10. Students have now got the maximum resources as desired by them to make the ideas in their brain grow to
the maximum. Now they try to make use of university resources such as the online library and quiz for the

Article Received: 12 February 2019 Article Accepted: 09 July 2019 Article Published: 11 August 2019 1. INTRODUCTION Wireless services had become a new era in communication for the entire education vicinity, and this new concept of mobility have a major impact on student learning and educator community. Personal digital assistants (PDA), tablet computers, notebooks (laptop), computers, wireless networking and the cellular IP-telephone are liberating faculty, staff and students out of the old restricted constraints for the traditional classroom. The need and emergence of Wi-Fi technology is evident in many ways: (1) Campus learning resources available, (2) Online Module for student registration, (3) Used to facilitate online courses, (4) Use of e-mail for communications for all stakeholders, (5) Fast growth of distance learning via “www”, (6) Video conferencing & (7) Satellite television. Information Technology (IT) continues to facilitate the education into a real time (Anytime /anywhere) experience. Wireless technology enabled devices gives new modes for students to access information and interact with the peers and teachers. For the faculty members the concept of classroom is altered. The stakeholders for the project are Students/Educators/Administrators who can act accordingly with the help of the Information Exchange process to create and manage the organized data for meaningful and originating system development and growth. This becomes the main reason for implementation of the WIFI project at the university premises [1]. 2. SCOPE OF WIRELESS PROJECT IN ACADEMICS The suggested technology for achieving the above ambitions of the students and the staff members was none other than Wi-Fi ( Wireless Fidelity) is licensed by the Wi-Fi Alliance to better understand the use of wireless local area networks (WLAN) which is being given on the IEEE 802.11 wireless specifications [2]. Amongst the various aspects due to which the mobility of the networks are in the market now a days includes the following: Increased mobility and collaboration of information and files • Roam without losing your connection in the entire campus wherever you need to. ABSTRACT The scope of the WIFI project is not limited to a specific realm of the participants in the university. As part of a five-year strategic plan of the IT deanship, the project aims to create a consistent user experience across the various building of University, including the provision of wireless network access. The access to the network on the go can be a really great endeavor for the information exchange and the information fetch at instances when needed. This last issue became critical in the summer of 2014, when the more number of extra access point of the network are needed, which require civil work and extra time to get ready. This was a very typical scenario in which wiring and cabling was a burden and an overhead for the entire vicinity of the employees including the implementation team and the stakeholders. Moreover there are various issues that are known to everyone regarding the cable LAN and its maintenance. We had already traditionally viewed wired as good enough for everybody, however over the past times the scenario is changing and it is becoming a very drastic problem where the more the expansion of the network is done the more are the chances of the faults in the network and the system designs. Thus it becomes a very needful situation where a solution is to be figured out for the networks and its maintenance. Keywords: Security, Wireless, WIFI, Domain, Server.

ADVANTAGES OF WIRELESS PROJECT IN ACADEMICS Wireless Fidelity gave a Win-Win solution stakeholders of the university. It supports more traffic now and it also delivers much faster transmission speeds as compared to the traditional modes of communication. Networks of the past in university have been far more mobile experience than other universities offer. The employees are empowered with the new digital revolution and can manage and plan the best for the lecture session and schedules. Students Mind Set towards the Wi-Fi Project: The more open we are the better responsive our students shall be. We have to create a flexible and open framework while working within financial reality [3]. This can be achieved by the students in the coming time with the help of the on the go networks at their fingertips. In a competitive education market, students demand a better teaching experience. Students wish to get all information and the lectures on the go at the campus site wherever they want to. The will handle the same with the hand held or the laptops in their hands and the power of IoT Era. This project has produced intense results that yields in the uplifting of the students as well as the teacher community to give them a real taste and feel for a modern university. It isn’t intended just about proper providing access, it’s about giving the right service and providing it with a relevant service context [4]. Amongst the many hidden and non-exploited advantages and deliverables of the project some of them are listed
