This paper introduces an efficient wireless power transfer (WPT) system that utilizes a class-E power amplifier and inductively coupled helical coils to deliver power through a 3.1-mm thick aluminum barrier without physical penetration. The system achieves a peak power gain of 25.2 dB and a maximum collector efficiency of 57.3%, with a power transfer efficiency of 9% while delivering 5W of power. This research addresses the need for wireless power solutions for embedded sensors in industrial applications with metal enclosures.
