An e-business can be successful only if it is able to meet the three core requirements they include availability, scalability and cost effectiveness. E-business planning incorporates a host of processes: the business model analyzes the characterestics of the business, functional model looks at the navigational structure of the site, customer model tracks the patterns of customer behavior and the resource model looks at site architecture and service demands.
Additionally, there are five determinants to E-Loyalty. They include, quality support system, on-time delivery, compelling product presentation, convenient and reasonably priced transportation costs and trustworthy privacy policies with respect to customers’ identity and purchases.
There are five basic principles to succeed in the e-business universe. The entrepreneur should take the lead in satisfying customer expectations, should reach out to new markets by filling a gap, get to market quickly as well as quickly respond to market changes. In a similar vein there are certain guidelines for achieving efficiency in the e-business space. They include sound process management, integrated information systems, deep business knowledge and long range planning.
In this presentation, we will discuss e-commerce on a B2B level in detail while focusing on planning on e-business model, determinants, basic principle for effective outcome, guidelines and much more toget a positive result.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Infosys Wireless Retailing & e-Commerce Capabilities
Traditionally, mobile operators used the retail store for customer acquisition. Subsequently, they gravitated towards the web
store to capitalize on the wide reach and low overhead costs of doing business on the Internet. Wireless operators are now
trying to increasingly leverage their presence across channels (web, store, kiosks) to expand their reach across customer
segments.
Infosys helps Wireless operators deliver more value to and derive more value from customer interactions by revolutionizing
wireless sales and enabling operators to combine personal touch with the convenience of technology. Infosys has a very
strong expertise in the following areas of Wireless retailing:
• Multi-channel Ordering and Fulfillment Process
• Flexible pricing solutions (that provides dynamic pricing based on location, channel, customer)
• Design and develop Self-Help kiosks to utilize customers’ idle time in the Stores
• Optimize Sales processes across channels (web, store, kiosks)
Infosys also specializes in designing and delivering Value Added Services (VAS) and Mobile Content Storefronts for Wireless
Operators. Infosys can help operators design and build robust e-Commerce storefronts for Mobile VAS and Content sales
with standardized “rules” for 3rd parties to integrate into operator’s service model. Infosys capabilities span the solution
lifecycle right from assessment to solution conceptualization and implementation.
Infosys Mobile Convergence Lab
The Wireless Center at Infosys’s SETLabs (Software Engineering and Technology Labs), our research group, pursues multiple
R&D projects in the wireless domain, with a research bias towards various services characterized by mobility, wireless
connectivity and smart spaces (an environment that interacts with users and devices). Driven by the convergence of multiple
wireless technologies around mobile devices and an industry trend to integrate mobility as “one of many channels” in a large
IT solution, our wireless research focuses on mobile platforms, wireless data network and access network technologies, core
switching, network management & planning, service provider infrastructure and wireless applications.
SETLabs is responsible for tracking key technologies and applications that enable “Anytime Anywhere Anything” access to
information services. Infosys has built a carrier-class software infrastructure and portfolio of ‘building-block’ components
and applications in the wireless space that enable our customers, and its strategic partners to ‘mobilize’ businesses extremely
rapidly and cost effectively.
