legislature with a greater number of women than states with a non moralistic culture? According to
political scientist Daniel Elazar, there are three types of political cultures in the United States:
individualistic, moralistic, and traditionalistic. Each type of culture perceives politics differently, but
the moralistic culture views it as a concern for all citizens. It is probable that states with this culture
are more likely to have a greater number of women in the legislature since moralistic cultures perceive
politics more democratically than the other two cultures. This democratic environment would be more
likely to promote all groups of people to participate in government at all levels, including state
legislatures. Individualistic cultures and traditionalistic cultures are more likely to believe that a select

Flamingo Observation
ABSTRACT On September 6th, 2017 period 6 and 8 of research and experimental science went to
Miami Zoo to observe the flamingo exhibit. The flamingos were watched for about 40 minutes all
together. After gathering the data of the flamingos behavior, the information was processed into two
different charts called followed by table and transition frequency table and then turned into a
kinematic diagram. The diagram shows the transition frequency of how many times the flamingo that
was studied produced a behavior after another behavior.
INTRODUCTION
The bird that was watched to gather the data was the flamingo (phoenicopterus), a type of wading
bird. At Miami Zoo they have American flamingos (phoenicopterus ruber) . American flamingos are
normally 3 feet and 6 inches. Their wings have bright pink and white feathers and beneath they have a
black coloring, and their beaks match the rest of their body being white, pink, and black. Compared to
the rest of the flamingos they are the tallest.
When we went to Miami Zoo, we watched the flamingos to collect data on their behavior. Five
behavioral patterns were chosen and carefully examined throughout the watch time. A total of 83
behavioral patterns were recorded on flamingo number 25. Everything was then put in several charts
to be made into a kinematic diagram. We did this to analyze the behavior of flamingos in a certain
time frame.

The Technical department is the department that deals with networking through both software and
hardware. This is the department that deals with WIMAX and VSAT internet services. They have field
engineers and dispatch drivers which are sent out to a client s sites to install/ troubleshoot their
network. The Customer Service Unit/department is the department in charge of monitoring the client s
internet link/network and also the unit that handles the clients information/data. This department
notices if there is a problem with a link then escalates it to the engineers in the Technical department,
then they visit the site and work on the internet link. The software department is the department in
charge of providing software solutions which are strategically tailored to meet an organisation s goals

There are several biblical concepts found in the Lion King however, this essay will be focusing on the

Crisis is a word used to describe a situation that has reached a critical phase. In order to minimize the
effects after an incident occurs, a crisis manager sets out to indemnify the area. A crisis can be globally
felt and personally felt. One major global crisis in recent history was the Ebola virus outbreak, and one
personal crisis I have experienced is a bipolar crisis. The Ebola outbreak in West Africa first broke the
news in March 2014. Considered an epidemic, this outbreak killed five times more than any other
Ebola outbreak combined. The virus is traced back to a two year old toddler who died in a south
eastern Guinea small village in December 2013. It took nearly three months for the health officials to
identify the cause of people s illness was Ebola. At that point, the virus had already spread and was set
to explode around the world. West Africa was not prepared for this type of epidemic, the clinics had
never managed this type of case, there was no laboratory to diagnose the patients, and the government
had never witnessed that type of upheaval. The people initially denied the crisis because they didn t

s On Being Brought from Africa to America is a cleverly ironic and heavily sarcastic poem on Phillis
wheatley s journey through her time in slavery. Written in a AABBCCDD rhyme scheme which
creates a focus on each couplet. Each rhyme couplet in On Being Brought from Africa to America is
used to show the irony forced on her and her race. *For example, in the first couplet Phillis stats how
she was brought from Pagan lands. The way the line is written it is easy to assume she is referring to

Burger King s first restaurant, originally called Insta Burger King, was opened on December 4, 1954
in a suburb of Miami, Florida by James McLamore and David Edgerton; both alumni of the Cornell
University School of Hotel Administration.
In 1967, after eight years of private operation, the Pillsbury Company acquired Burger King and its
parent company Burger King Corporation. At the time of the purchase, BK had grown to 274
restaurants in the United States.

When Burger King Corporation began franchising in 1967, it relied on a regional franchising model
where franchisees would purchase the right to open stores within a defined geographic region. These
