Rhetorical Analysis Of The Budweiser Commercial
Visual Rhetorical Analysis: Budweiser
The time period of this commercial was set in the mid 1800 s; when Adolphus Busch was a German
immigrant who came to America in the mid 1800 s. Adolphus came to America to sell his kind of beer.
The culture in the Budweiser Commercial was to show how Americans did not want to give their jobs
to the new immigrants. The audience for this commercial was mainly targeted to blue collar workers
or people who were working class in factories. The purpose of the commercial was to not give up on
the American dream. Mr. Busch wants to sell beer in the Budweiser commercial demonstrates its
mainly targeting men.
This commercial, aired on television on February 6, 2016 which was Super Bowl Sunday. The

The start of the commercial Busch is in a boat heading to America. Busch got his paper work to be
labeled as an American. Busch gets on a steam boat and heads down the Mississippi River to Saint
Louis. Then the steam boat catches on fire so he and the other people on the boat had to jump off and
find land. After tracking through the marshland of the Mississippi; Bush and the others found a boat
that would bring them straight to Saint Louis. When Busch made it to Saint Louis he was treated
nicely by the people of Saint Louis. At the end of the commercial you see Busch making a deal with a
business man to sell his beer. The conclusion of the commercial was Busch showing his partner what
the next kind of beer will be sold in. The audience in that time would probably respond by saying
immigrants are taking our jobs and they should go back to where they came from. What Adolphus
Busch did in his time helped create the Budweiser Companies wide range of customers around the
world. The argument made in the commercial is that Americans were losing their jobs due to the big
increase in immigrants, so Americans were mad so they threaten to hurt anyone who were immigrants.
The kind of argument used in the beginning of the commercial, was more of an evaluation because

How And Why Safe Working Practices

How and Why Safe Working Practices in a Lab are Regulated?
CLEAPSS Hazcards (which stands for: Consortium of Local Education Authorities for the Provision
of Science Services) are used in schools and other education centres to give potential hazards and
information for technician staff that use concentrated chemicals to prepare more dilute solutions for a
class/lesson. In working environments they are used to produce data sheets for chemical
manufacturers to give all relevant information for all of the products that they use. Details referencing
what to avoid when using the substance, exposure limits and any specific hazards will also be
displayed on the hazcards. The CLEAPSS service also provides; newsletters for schools, free ... Show

melting point and boiling point), toxicity, health effects, first aid precautions and measures, reactivity,
storage, disposal, protective equipment, and spill handling procedures. This information provided in
one s specific place for lab workers and users means that work in the lab can be carried out safely as
they are able to access any details they need about equipment, machines and chemicals etc.
MSDS (which stands for: Material Safety Data Sheet) is a document that contains information on
potential hazards (e.g. health, fire hazards, reactivity and environmental), how to work safely with a
chemical product and the use, storage, handling and emergency procedures all related to the hazards of
a material. MSDS documents contains more information about materials than a label would and they
are prepared by the supplier/manufacturer of the material. It helps to maintain the safe working
practices as it outlines the hazards of products, how to use products safely, what to expect if
recommendations are not followed, what to do if accidents occur, how to recognize symptoms of
overexposure, and what to do if such incidents occur and it is an essential starting point for the
development of a complete health and safety program.
Good laboratory practice involves communication with various organisations that assess labs by
embodying a set of principles which provide a framework for lab studies to be planned,

Collections in a Museum Essay
Imagine you were in charge of a museum s collecting policy. What would you chose to collect and
how would you justify these decisions? Introduction Collections play a crucial role in fulfilling a
museum s mission and purpose. A museum s collection is defined by its collection policy past and
present which in turn helps to shape the museum s goals and direction. As stewards of collections,
museums are expected to maintain the highest professional standards legally and ethically. The
development of written policies are necessary to govern the management of collections and to
establish the museum s collections related activities to support its mission and guide the priorities and

A mission statement helps guide priorities and decision making. Assessment must be done to
determine the current strengths and weaknesses of the existing collection. Any proposed acquisitions
should be able to address the limits in the existing collection or plug any gaps in the collection. The
acquisition strategy should ensure that objects to be accepted or otherwise acquired for museum
collection shall enhance and reflect the immediate and long term goals of the museum. The focus of
acquisitions should be to address conspicuous weakness in the current collection. At the National
Museum of Singapore, one of the conspicuous weaknesses includes objects which represent the
minority communities in Singapore, hence the need to acquire artefacts that address this gap. The
current collection is insufficient for presenting a balanced and objective narrative on the subject. The
museum will strive to acquire artefacts and specimens that generally are complete and in good
condition, and for which provenance is well documented regarding its history. All potential
acquisitions must be thoroughly researched in regards to their provenance, including proof of
ownership prior to acquisition. Acquisitions must not violate any international laws or conventions
and rights of the country. The Museum should only acquire if it has the resources to provide for
storage, protection and preservation of the objects under conditions that assure their

Misconceptions In Never Cry Wolf, By Farley Mowat
When you think of the wolf do you think of a blood thirsty, savage killer? Let me show you the
misconceptions that has deceived you for so long. Farley Mowat, the author of Never Cry Wolf, which
was published in 1663, is a biologist that was sent to the subarctic Barren Lands. He was sent there by
the by the Canadian government to study the wolf and to investigate why the cariboo numbers were
plundering in other words the lupine project. The wolves were the first suspect of the crime. As he
spends his time in the tundra the author shines light on how the wolves aren t so vicious after all. The
real ones to blame were the trappers and trophy hunters. Mowat uses logos, pathos, and ethos to
inform the reader that wolves aren t the blood thirsty killers they have been thought to be for so long.
He uses a lot of emotional rhetorical strategies also known as Pathos . But the main two emotions that
was used was humor and personification. For example when he was on wolf house bay he had
observed the wolf den for several hours and found nothing. But it was when he gave up and decided to
relieve himself was when he knowticed that he wasn t alone. Sitting twenty yards behind him were the
wolves that he was looking for nearly all day long (71). If these wolves were really vicious killers he
would be dead by now. This is humorous because what he was looking for all day never appeared until
he turned around. This was probably not to funny to Mowat see to how he flipped out on the

Using Software And Its Integration With Regular Cost...
Reports produced by an ABC system contain information, such as product margins, that vary from the
information reported for a traditional cost method. It s also possible that some activity based costs may
be irrelevant in certain decision making scenarios; for example, ABC does not conform to accounting
standards and should not be used for external reporting. Since traditional cost figures tend to be the
norm, interpreting ABC data along with regular accounting information can be confusing and lead to
bad decision making. The use of software can streamline the process of maintaining an ABC system
and simplify its integration with regular cost accounting information. (Eileen, nd.)
Even for smaller businesses, the implementation of an activity based costing system can be a
substantial undertaking. The added precision of the activity based system can only be achieved if the
small business owner is willing to put in the time to analyse the manufacturing process with enough
detail to determine how overhead costs are incurred. Due to the difficulty of implementation, many
small business owners don t believe the benefit of an activity based system outweighs the costs. (John,
nd.)
Other than ABC, balanced scorecard is also design for the change of the management accounting.
According to Olve and Sjèostrand (2002) a balanced scorecard is a format for describing activities of
an organisation through a number of measures for four perspectives: financial, customer, internal

The Impact Of Mobile Advertisements In Generation X
the least popular and least effective, least popular and more effective, and most popular and most
effective. The video advertisements, banner advertisements, interstitial advertisements, and in app
purchases are the most popular and most effective way to gain money from this mobile application,
and they will be used.
Advertisements have become more popular within the past few years. The reason for this is because
this generation, Generation X, is much more virtual friendly and much more reliant on technology.
Bert Markgraf, the freelance writer and graduate of McGill University, speaks about this, saying:
Mobile advertising has been increasing rapidly, both in volume and value. Over the last three months
of 2012, average mobile ad rates increased by 50 percent and they retained most of the increase in
January 2013. Effective CPM rates ranged from $0.53 for an Android device in October 2012 to $1.12
for an iOS device in December 2012. In January 2013, eCPM rates for Android devices remained high
at $0.88 while those for iOS devices decreased from their peak to $1.08. iOS devices achieved
consistently higher rates than Android devices by about 30 percent.
With this information on hand, it is clear that making money using advertisements from mobile
applications is not as challenging as it was five years ago. Every year, technology is getting more and
more advanced, and there are more roads to making easy money through mobile applications. To
make an application, one needs an

Is Horace s Anger In The Culture Of The Roman Empire Under...
In the documents, The Third Satire and The Odes, the bitter Juvenal and frustrated Horace openly
display their opinion about the Roman Empire under the emperors Augustus and Domitian.
Acting out on his stern anger for the temples and shrines in desperate need of repairs, Horace
instinctively accuses the guiltless to pay for [their] fathers sins (Horace.1). Horace becomes agitated to
an extreme extent because of the absence of respect for the gods within their temples and shrines. The
polluted shrines and images of gods have become sorrowful as they slowly decay over neglect in favor
of other priorities. Horace strongly believes that shrines, temples, and the images of gods alike shall
often be repaired, never neglected, and prioritized within the culture of the new Roman Empire under
Augustus Octavian. When talking about ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Horace believes that marriage should happen only once in a man or woman s life, and they should stay
loyal to each other no matter what the circumstances. During this time period, the Roman citizens
practiced sexual immorality as a normal part of life and showed great greed in their actions. Horace
exhibits his irritated and angry attitude when talking about this subject because he values marriage
vows and sexual morality more than sinful nature. He strives to change the nature of the people back
to the way Augustus wants it because he values the patronage Augustus has given him. As the
downfall of the Roman Empire continues, Juvenal describes the citizens with blackmail in their hearts
(Juvenal.500). Juvenal stresses the fact that the citizens of Rome become disloyal to one another.

High Powered Offenses In The NFL
With the exception of the Steelers who had to deal with the Patriots for a career playoff fourth time,
not a one of us thought these high powered offenses would be stopped. To many of us, these teams
represented in the words of Mike and Mike stone cold lead pipe locks and surefire winners for that
upcoming Super Bowl season. I mean how many number one defenses have ever shut down number
one offenses? The New York Giants defense was ranked seventh in 2007 when they entered the
playoffs. The number one ranked Steelers defense couldn t even handled the Patriots that year. But as
it stands, great defenses seem to have a way of cutting great offenses down to size. The 85 Bears
completely demolished the Patriots in Super Bowl XX. The 01 Patriots stymied the Greatest Show on
Turf St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI. The 07 Giants stomped out and over the undefeated
Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. The 14 Seahawks overloaded Peyton Manning s Broncos in Super Bowl
XLVIII. The 16 Broncos derailed the freight train looking Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. ...

We ve offended people and we have been offended by people. At some point those offenses may cause
us to become defensive. In fact, I think we have deepened the American depth chart and fielded a
nation of defensive poses. Gathering from what we ve seen on the football field, we know that a great
defense tends to snuff out a great offense. As a result, I believe our culture has become grounded by
defensiveness and knocked out of rhythm. The only side working with any rhythm is the defensive
stances we ve taken on issues that others oppose. Defensive coordinators could probably come up with
a few new schemes of their own if they could figure out how to translate what s happening in today s

Slavery, Racism, And Slavery Essay
Slavery began before racism in North America. To prove this I will provide an analysis of
chronological events that displayed acts of slavery and racism. With that being said, Initially I will be
delving into the earliest implementations of slavery in North America. That being Jamestown Virginia
1619. Secondly, analysing an extract from 1655, where an African man named Anthony Johnson
claimed to own another black individual, John Casor as his property. Subsequently, moving onto
Winthrop D Jordan s essay, The Mutual Causation of Racism and Slavery which will divulge the first
instances of racism to occur in North America. Furthermore, touching on an article regarding
legislators in Maryland, displaying one of the first laws enacted in North America, which were racist
in nature. In contrast, expanding on a court document that was approved by white legislators showing
that black individuals were allowed to own and bequeath property in the late seventeenth century.
Penultimately, delving into the early eighteenth century where racism began to engulf North America.
Lastly, summarizing that, due to the analysis and chronological order of the evidence presented,
slavery began before racism.
The first sign of slavery in North America began in August, of 1619. This was seen when twenty black
men were sold to residents of Jamestown, Virginia by a dutch ship. With this being the case, Edmund

Analysis Of Isaiah Berlin s Two Concepts Of Liberty
In Two Concepts of Liberty , Isaiah Berlin examines two different conceptions of freedom: positive
and negative liberty. He begins by discussing negative freedom, which he defines as the area within
which the subject ... is or should be left to do or be what he is able to do or be, without interference by
other persons (169). Under this definition, an individual is not free if he is coerced by another
individual from making a decision he or she would naturally make. When discussing negative
freedom, Berlin acknowledges that there is a fundamental level of freedom that is necessary for
personal development that should not be intruded on by others (174). He contrasts this conception of
negative freedom with positive freedom, which is concerned with the source of control or interference
that can determine someone to do, or be, this rather than that (169). When discussing positive
freedom, Berlin introduces the concept of the divided self, where an individual has two selves, a
higher, rational self and a lower, instinctual self (180). Positive freedom focuses on the ability to
develop the self mastery over the lower self and appeals to the higher self. Berlin argues that the
positive conception of liberty is flawed because the concept of appealing to the higher self can be
abused when the idea of a higher and lower self is applied to a collective group or society (181). An
authoritarian government can use the rhetoric of appealing to an individual s or group s higher self to

Evolution And Its Impact On Human Evolution
Humans have gone through many stages of adaptation, allowing for great expansion and our unrivaled
dominance of the earth. So it could seem as though humans have reached the peak of evolutionary
development. Evolution is often thought of as a natural process, and were it not for humans, this might
be true. However, evolution, in the strictest sense, is a change in the genetic structure of a population
(Jurmain, et al., 5). While natural selection is a major contributor to the process of evolution, humans
are no longer as heavily influenced by these forces, as they once were.
In fact, since the dawn of medicine, humans have actively impeded the process of evolution. By
ensuring the survival and reproductive success of those who would otherwise be considered unfit, in
that they would not otherwise survive. Francis Galton, and others, suggested regulation to control
reproduction, and reduce/eliminate unfit characteristics. The eugenics movement led to a number of
concerns over what the concept of fitness entails, often prioritizing physical characteristics over
beneficial traits (Jurmain, et al., 391).
Even today, and with great understanding of human genetics, concerns exist regarding the ability to
control reproduction, and by extension, evolution. Some early works used genetics as a way to
describe how humans differentiated. In one study, researchers sought to reconstruct a history of human
evolution. By combining genetic findings with pre existing archaeological and

How American Experience Reflects Global Faith
With the lenses of a good historian, Noll has given us the role American Christianity has played in the
changes that occur in global Christianity today. Terms like American experience , American
Christianity , American Mission , American power , etc., undoubtedly express the American role in the
expansion of Christianity. As they attempted to spread the gospel, Americans, by large,
decontextualized neither their theology nor their understanding of missions. Hence, Noll rightly
described in his book ...How American Experience Reflects Global Faith. Both American orthodoxy
and orthopraxis were taught and reinforced as a golden standard in various parts of the world.
Church buildings, musical instruments, ministers attire, choir robes, hymns, names of converts,
schools and curriculums had Americans religious, cultural, and economic trademark. The Christianity
that addressed issues of life in the American cultural context was transplanted in different parts of the
world. Unlike the transition of the Hebraic Christianity from the Jewish culture to the Gentile world in
the first century, which developed its own unique theological, cultural, and leadership identity in a
short period of time, the phenomenal growth of Christianity in the majority world has been largely
influenced by the dominance of American Christianity. As the result, we have Christian faith that is
not well anchored on local theology. And to most of the churches in the majority world, up until

Diversity Of A New Rocket Ship
The topic of diversity is an ever growing discussion to encourage inclusion of different people,
cultures, and backgrounds into the global marketplace. In my issue paper, I will explore the idea of
diversity, its benefits, and how it can be included within key sectors of the business world. Diversity is
an important factor to the business place that allows employees and customers to interact with
companies that value their background as an essential part of their business plan company culture.
There are a myriad of benefits that diversity brings can bring to a company but most of my readings
reflected on three main ideas of driving innovation, bettering recruitment, and capturing the global
market. Diversity of race, gender, and social view can increase innovation and creativity. How does
diversity do this? When different people are brought together to complete a task or solve a problem,
they are bringing different information, perspective, and opinions. The need for diversity of expertise
is obvious: the building of a new rocket ship requires the expertise of designers, engineers, and quality
control experts. But informational diversity brings unique dimensions and experiences to thinking
through a task. Oftentimes being with those that are similar to us can lead us to think that we hold the
same details and information or share the same perspective, which hinders creativity and innovation.
Being in diverse groups can lead us to asking more questions and more

Reward Systems
Introduction
Reward Management (RM) has been defined as the distribution of monetary and non monetary
rewards to employees in an effort to align the interests of the employees, the organisation, and its
shareholders (O Neil, 1998). In addition O Neil (1998) also suggests that a RM system can serve the
purpose of attracting prospective job applicants, retaining valuable employees, motivating employees,
ensuring legal requirements relating to direct and indirect rewards are not violated, assisting the
company in achieving human resource and business objectives, and ultimately assisting the
organisation in obtaining a competitive advantage.
Various conflicts in the RM system can affect the benefits that can be obtained. It has been argued ...

The fourth criterion is to ensure that the system is integrated with all other HRM functions, and that
the employees can control and influence the performance outcomes. Communication of the system is
the fifth criterion, the system, its objectives and the rewards must be effectively communicated to all
participants. The final criterion is that the system must be evaluated on a regular basis to ensure the
objectives and returns are being achieved. In addition RM has strong links with the following Human
Resource Management (HRM) functions; job analysis, recruitment, performance assessment and
union management relations.
As stated by Lawler (2002) individual based pay should be used to reward persons for their skills,
knowledge and competencies relative to their external market value. Multiple pay for performance
approaches should be used as rewards. Reward systems should be tailored to fit the characteristics and
requirements of the individuals that an organisation wishes to attract and retain.

He immigrated from Ireland during the pre Civil War era and became a wealthy,

Although situated economically in an upper middle class, Fitzgerald developed

kinds of opportunties they enjoyed. The quest to achieve seems to have dominated
Fitzgerald since early adolescence. Like many of his friends who attended prep

Slow Productivity in Construction Industry
Introduction Nowadays, the growth of construction industry s productivity is slow, unlike the
manufacturing sector, where standardization of components, mechanisation and innovation greatly
enhance the rate of production, that is because of the procedure of construction industry is more
complicate and always take longer time than manufacturing sector. Therefore, the supply to meet the
needs and demand of housing and infrastructure is a very slow process.
This is a serious problem which indicates that over the past 40 years, construction projects have
required significantly more field work hours over cost of contract. In other words, the construction

The procedure of construction industry is more complicate and always takes longer time than

houses or the building due to the time, quality and cost. Also for the location, the developer need to
find a stable, good and correct location and needs to make a research and analysis the land value so
that no risk will be taken. As for the tendering, the appointed consultant is taking a lot of time to finish
the tendering which is to hire a contractor for the project.
Usually in construction sector, the contractor will took a lot of times to finish a project and due to this
the developer will lost a few numbers of customers or make the customers disappoint but then it is not
the contractor fault, sometimes it is because of the force majeure, that is essentially frees both parties
from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the
parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, prevents one or both parties from fulfilling their obligations

Why Do Prime Ministers Become Too Powerful
The Prime Minister has many powers he is the head of the government and leader of his own party.
However no one elects the Prime Minister he or she would have been asked by the monarch to form a
government on the basis of being able to command a majority within the commons (Kingdom, 1999).
The prime minster is very powerful however this can depend on the personality and circumstance a
Prime Minister finds themselves in. There are almost two types of prime ministers of the years such as
the presidential style for example Thatcher however there were also weak and ineffective prime
ministers such as Gordon Brown. The UK Prime Minister and US president are often compared in

The greatest threat of the prime ministers power comes from the European Union this is because of
higher European law which the Prime Minister does not have as much influence over unlike lower law
which due to the strong party whip system can be passed through parliament. The only way for the
Prime Minister to not be affected by European law it to withdraw from the European union however
this would be extremely difficult without the Prime Minister splitting his own party or destroying his
own reputation. This therefore shows that the European Union acts as a major check on the prime
ministers power which shows that the prime minister s office has not become overly

Critical areas of American life such as space travel, arms development and the acquisition of foreign

The Beat Generation was founded in the early 1940 s but was mainly developed throughout the 50 s.
Some of its major influences were Jack Kerouac, known as the generations founder, Lawrence

those within the movement were from the middle class but educated in public policies as well (Rahn).
The major points that were argued by this generation were that Capitalism was really a policy that hurt
Americans more than it helped them and it would come to question the materialism of the 50 s society.

Why Hybrids Vehicles Are Better Than Gas
Why Hybrids Vehicles Are Better Than Gas Introduction Hybrid is a term used to describe a
combination of two or more distinctive things, aiming to accomplish a common objective. A hybrid
vehicle is a fuel efficient vehicle having two motors one a gasoline powered motor and the other
electric motor. The reason for combining two motors is using their strengths and reducing
deficiencies. Electric motor is used at low speed wile gas motors perform better at high speed
generating extra power for a particular motor weight. During rush hours, when vehicles are
continuously stopping and running, performance of electric motor is appreciative. Gas motor supports
higher speed supporting driving at the highways. (Anderson 134 45) Hybrid vehicles are continuously
gaining popularity in the general public. With the growing societal concerns about green revolution
and also achieving significant reduction in fuel consumption, hybrid vehicles are considered
satisfactory in performance. They have become so popular that certain tax incentives have been
offered by the government on hybrid vehicles. Due to their better performance compared with gas
powered vehicles, we present the thesis of our paper as follows: Thesis statement: it is hypothesized
that compared with the gas powered vehicles, hybrids offer more benefits in maintenance, are cost
effective, and most importantly environmental friendly. History of Hybrid Cars A steam powered

The Positive Benefits Of The Electric Car
The electric car is an innovation that has been around for decades, yet people seem reluctant to follow
the trend. Electric car sales have not thrived on their own. According to Alissa Walker s article, Car
Ownership May Decrease in the U.S. Here s Why , electric cars make up an estimate one percent of all
cars currently owned in the United States. Changing policies will help us move in a new direction
towards the electric car. Countries like India, France, and Britain are setting laws that ban the sale of
internal combustion cars, which are cars powered by gasoline (Glinton). Countries are already placing
policies that can help increase electric car sales and help it become a trend. Consumers are not willing
to invest money into an innovation that is relatively new and different. It is important to tell these
consumers the positive benefits of the electric car. Electric cars are a much better alternative, so more
research and funding should go into promoting the electric car and increasing sales. It is important to
address the problems the electric car has, so that improvements can be made. Consumer s negative
opinions play a big part on whether the electric car sales increase or not. Electric car sales can increase
through improving the electric car internally and externally, by increasing the amount of charging
stations available, by providing government incentives, training car salesmen, and by promoting
awareness of the positive benefits the electric car can provide. So why should we invest in improving
electric car sales? The benefits of electric cars seem endless. According to Ergon Energy, a
government owned corporation, a couple reasons why consumers should consider the electric car as
their mode of transportation because it is cheaper to run, cheaper to maintain compared to the
petrol/diesel car. There are many different parts of the car that are not needed that are used in internal
combustion cars like, expensive exhaust systems, starter motors, fuel injection systems, radiators, and
many other parts that are not needed in an electric vehicle (Benefits of Electric Cars). When
consumers drive an electric vehicle, they are contributing to the reduction of air pollution. Electric

Wicca And Witchcraft
Witchcraft is a religion. Wicca is one form of Witchcraft; however, the term Wicca is occasionally
applied to Witchcraft in overall. In the United States, most individuals who practice this religion
identify themselves as Witches or Wiccans. Wicca is an earth based religion and in some ways is akin
to the Native American spirituality. Wicca, which is sometimes called The Craft, Wicce, or The Old
Religion, is centered on an ancient religion of nature and love of life. Most federal and governments as
well as the U.S. Armed Forces recognize the religion of Wicca. The courts have acknowledged the
right of even inmates to perform this religion on the same basis as other religions.
In ancient times, people appreciated Nature with its great forces and celebrated the cycles of the
seasons and the moon. They understood the spirituality in the sun as well as the moon and in the Earth
Herself. When you come right down to it, in all of life.
This perspective is in spite of everything, vital to present day Wicca. To most Wiccans, everything in
Nature, together with the Goddesses and Gods, is a true aspect of Deity. The elements most often
notable in the Craft are the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, which is known as the Triple Goddess
of the Moon and in addition the Horned God. These have numerous names in a number of cultures.
Wicca is personal, flexible and all encompassing. You will find no two Wiccans observe their faith in
exactly the same way but all are accepted. This can only

Is Google Making Us Stupid Essay
Is Google Making Us Stupid?
How long is the Nile River? How do I take out a loan? Where do babies come from? Nowadays,
instead of the long searches after a trip to the library, creeping through the old books collecting dust on
our parent s shelves and even looking through an encyclopedia, instead we would find the answers
these answers through a quick Google search. Google, introduced to the public September of 1997, is
a commonly used search engine all over the internet. Google is roughly an amazing 40% of the
internet. From toddler to teen to senior citizen, we use Google as a crutch for our daily information.
But to say that Google is making us stupid is not necessarily right? Google more so is making us
dependant on fast paced information, and therefore diluting our sense of concentration and our ability
to receive and maintain that information.
Nicholas Carr, author of the article Is Google Making Us Stupid, wrote about his experience with the
search engine and how it s literally changing the way his thought process receives information. Carr
writes, I m not thinking the way I used to think... my concentration often starts to drift after two or

Using Porous Organometallic Compounds For Various Material...
Introduction
In the past century extensive research has been conducted on porous organometallic compounds for
use in various material applications. Although numerous compounds containing Lewis bases, such as
nitriles and bipyridines and have been reported to be successful at the sorption of small molecules, the
desorption of the guest often leads to structural collapse of the host. 1,2 Metal organic frameworks
(MOFs) have shown to be a valuable class of newer materials that can support permanent porosity
upon the evacuation of the framework. Unlike zeolites, which are fully inorganic, the flexibility in the
choice of the organic linker comprising the backbone of the MOF structure makes the size of the
poragen formed tunable for a wider ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the original and still most active fields of research in metal organic frameworks is in gas
separation. While the ability of both rigid and flexible MOFs to adsorb is based on such factors as
geometry of the gas as well as sorbate sorbent interactions, flexible MOFs are also dependent on
structural rearrangements and the ability of the pore to change with thermodynamic conditions.
Currently, most MOF investigations into gas separation are conducted by measuring the sorption and
desorption of specific gases and relating isothermic data. MOFs are being looked to as next generation
gaseous adsorbent materials in both industrial and environmental applications.9 One particular gas
that is of growing environmental concern is CO2. As a byproduct of human created combustion
activities, particularly in developed nations, the need to capture and sequester CO2 is becoming ever
more apparent. In order to adsorb CO2, a metal organic framework must be functionalized for high
selectivity towards the gas as well as possess the necessary enthalpy of adsorption. MOFs with open
cation sites such as MOF 74 derivatives, as well as those containing amine functional groups are
especially useful.10 The

The Role Of Uniform Law In The United States
Introduction
Almost seventy years ago Professor Hessel Yntema wrote that a large and diverse country needs a
complex governmental structure that balances national interests and local liberties. The resulting
complexity is accentuated by history. The United States traces its roots to geographically dispersed
communities of migrants from different countries. They brought with them different cultural baggage.
Followed by rapid industrialization, this introduced new problems and worsened old ones. Industrial
accidents, complex corporate structures, labour unions and urbanization have induced increasingly
detailed regulation. Yet, despite this complexity and diversity, Professor Yntema suggests that there is
a fundamental unity of law in the United ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Federalisation of law by Constitutional Decisions of the US Supreme Court
Supreme Court decisions instantly bring legal unification. The Court is best at prohibiting
contradictory legislation, but also does well on prescribing positive legislation. Where the Court does
prescribe these specific rules, typically these norms overwhelm any state rules. For example, on
January 21, 1973, first trimester abortion was legal in some states and illegal in others. On January 22,
1973, when the Supreme Court decided the case of Roe v Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), it became legal
in all states.
While this approach has the upside of immediate applicability, it also has drawbacks. When
constitutionalizing an issue you largely eliminate legislative solutions. These legislative solutions can
be political compromises. They can change as political temperaments change. They can make clear
rules that are easy to apply, but may not be that easy to justify. Constitutional solutions are, by the
nature of American constitutional decision making, judge made solutions, normally no clear rules.
They invite litigation to change them or just to determine what they mean, for there is no other way to
obtain an authoritative interpretation. Other examples of unifying law through the US Supreme Court
are the Brady materials and the Miranda

The Use Of Art And The Focal Points
Established as a military fort, Dura Europos fended off Persian invaders from the Roman Empire. The
Persians eventually defeated Dura, however when the city was rediscovered many monuments were
found (Tronzo). The most common form of surviving art consisted of paintings found on the interior
walls of buildings in Dura. In particular, two buildings were found that had been used as religious
meeting places. The first is a domus ecclesiae which is Greek for house church that belonged to the
Christian community (Tronzo). The second is a Jewish synagogue that was built in Dura specifically
for use by the Jews. Both of these establishments contain paintings that were used for ritual and
symbolism, but they differ in a couple key ways: their narrative, their style, and their focus. In
particular, this paper seeks to compare the use of art and the focal points (or niche) in the domus
ecclesiae and the synagogue. The domus ecclesiae was established around 235 CE. The artist is
unknown, but definitely made by Christians. This is evidenced by the location of the murals. These
murals lie deep inside a home in Dura Europos, and are not accessible directly from the front. Secco is
used in these paintings, and was much easier to use than fresco. This style of painting was cheaper
than fresco because it allowed the artist to paint onto dry plaster instead of painting into wet plaster.
The style is interesting, because the murals are not lavish (Tronzo). For example, although the

Another bond that may provide satisfaction is that between mother and child. Children provide a

  • 2. Rhetorical Analysis Of The Budweiser Commercial Visual Rhetorical Analysis: Budweiser The time period of this commercial was set in the mid 1800 s; when Adolphus Busch was a German immigrant who came to America in the mid 1800 s. Adolphus came to America to sell his kind of beer. The culture in the Budweiser Commercial was to show how Americans did not want to give their jobs to the new immigrants. The audience for this commercial was mainly targeted to blue collar workers or people who were working class in factories. The purpose of the commercial was to not give up on the American dream. Busch gets on a steam boat and heads down the Mississippi River to Saint Louis. Then the steam boat catches on fire so he and the other people on the boat had to jump off and find land. After tracking through the marshland of the Mississippi; Bush and the others found a boat that would bring them straight to Saint Louis. When Busch made it to Saint Louis he was treated nicely by the people of Saint Louis. At the end of the commercial you see Busch making a deal with a business man to sell his beer. The conclusion of the commercial was Busch showing his partner what the next kind of beer will be sold in. The audience in that time would probably respond by saying immigrants are taking our jobs and they should go back to where they came from. What Adolphus Busch did in his time helped create the Budweiser Companies wide range of customers around the world. The argument made in the commercial is that Americans were losing their jobs due to the big increase in immigrants, so Americans were mad so they threaten to hurt anyone who were immigrants. The kind of argument used in the beginning of the commercial, was more of an evaluation because they did not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A mission statement helps guide priorities and decision making. Assessment must be done to determine the current strengths and weaknesses of the existing collection. Any proposed acquisitions should be able to address the limits in the existing collection or plug any gaps in the collection. The acquisition strategy should ensure that objects to be accepted or otherwise acquired for museum collection shall enhance and reflect the immediate and long term goals of the museum. The focus of acquisitions should be to address conspicuous weakness in the current collection. At the National Museum of Singapore, one of the conspicuous weaknesses includes objects which represent the minority communities in Singapore, hence the need to acquire artefacts that address this gap. The current collection is insufficient for presenting a balanced and objective narrative on the subject. The museum will strive to acquire artefacts and specimens that generally are complete and in good condition, and for which provenance is well documented regarding its history. All potential acquisitions must be thoroughly researched in regards to their provenance, including proof of ownership prior to acquisition. Acquisitions must not violate any international laws or conventions and rights of the country. The Museum should only acquire if it has the resources to provide for storage, protection and preservation of the objects under conditions that assure their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Misconceptions In Never Cry Wolf, By Farley Mowat When you think of the wolf do you think of a blood thirsty, savage killer? Let me show you the misconceptions that has deceived you for so long. Farley Mowat, the author of Never Cry Wolf, which was published in 1663, is a biologist that was sent to the subarctic Barren Lands. He was sent there by the by the Canadian government to study the wolf and to investigate why the cariboo numbers were plundering in other words the lupine project. The wolves were the first suspect of the crime. As he spends his time in the tundra the author shines light on how the wolves aren t so vicious after all. The real ones to blame were the trappers and trophy hunters. Mowat uses logos, pathos, and ethos to inform the reader that wolves aren t the blood thirsty killers they have been thought to be for so long. He uses a lot of emotional rhetorical strategies also known as Pathos . But the main two emotions that was used was humor and personification. For example when he was on wolf house bay he had observed the wolf den for several hours and found nothing. But it was when he gave up and decided to relieve himself was when he knowticed that he wasn t alone. Sitting twenty yards behind him were the wolves that he was looking for nearly all day long (71). If these wolves were really vicious killers he would be dead by now. This is humorous because what he was looking for all day never appeared until he turned around. This was probably not to funny to Mowat see to how he flipped out on the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 8. Using Software And Its Integration With Regular Cost... Reports produced by an ABC system contain information, such as product margins, that vary from the information reported for a traditional cost method. It s also possible that some activity based costs may be irrelevant in certain decision making scenarios; for example, ABC does not conform to accounting standards and should not be used for external reporting. Since traditional cost figures tend to be the norm, interpreting ABC data along with regular accounting information can be confusing and lead to bad decision making. The use of software can streamline the process of maintaining an ABC system and simplify its integration with regular cost accounting information. (Eileen, nd.) Even for smaller businesses, the implementation of an activity based costing system can be a substantial undertaking. The added precision of the activity based system can only be achieved if the small business owner is willing to put in the time to analyse the manufacturing process with enough detail to determine how overhead costs are incurred. Due to the difficulty of implementation, many small business owners don t believe the benefit of an activity based system outweighs the costs. (John, nd.) Other than ABC, balanced scorecard is also design for the change of the management accounting. According to Olve and Sjèostrand (2002) a balanced scorecard is a format for describing activities of an organisation through a number of measures for four perspectives: financial, customer, internal process ... • 9. The Impact Of Mobile Advertisements In Generation X the least popular and least effective, least popular and more effective, and most popular and most effective. The video advertisements, banner advertisements, interstitial advertisements, and in app purchases are the most popular and most effective way to gain money from this mobile application, and they will be used. Advertisements have become more popular within the past few years. The reason for this is because this generation, Generation X, is much more virtual friendly and much more reliant on technology. Bert Markgraf, the freelance writer and graduate of McGill University, speaks about this, saying: Mobile advertising has been increasing rapidly, both in volume and value. Over the last three months of 2012, average mobile ad rates increased by 50 percent and they retained most of the increase in January 2013. Effective CPM rates ranged from $0.53 for an Android device in October 2012 to $1.12 for an iOS device in December 2012. In January 2013, eCPM rates for Android devices remained high at $0.88 while those for iOS devices decreased from their peak to $1.08. iOS devices achieved consistently higher rates than Android devices by about 30 percent. With this information on hand, it is clear that making money using advertisements from mobile applications is not as challenging as it was five years ago. Every year, technology is getting more and more advanced, and there are more roads to making easy money through mobile applications. To make an application, one needs an ... • 11. Is Horace s Anger In The Culture Of The Roman Empire Under... In the documents, The Third Satire and The Odes, the bitter Juvenal and frustrated Horace openly display their opinion about the Roman Empire under the emperors Augustus and Domitian. Acting out on his stern anger for the temples and shrines in desperate need of repairs, Horace instinctively accuses the guiltless to pay for [their] fathers sins (Horace.1). Horace becomes agitated to an extreme extent because of the absence of respect for the gods within their temples and shrines. The polluted shrines and images of gods have become sorrowful as they slowly decay over neglect in favor of other priorities. Horace strongly believes that shrines, temples, and the images of gods alike shall often be repaired, never neglected, and prioritized within the culture of the new Roman Empire under Augustus Octavian. During this time period, the Roman citizens practiced sexual immorality as a normal part of life and showed great greed in their actions. Horace exhibits his irritated and angry attitude when talking about this subject because he values marriage vows and sexual morality more than sinful nature. He strives to change the nature of the people back to the way Augustus wants it because he values the patronage Augustus has given him. • 12. High Powered Offenses In The NFL With the exception of the Steelers who had to deal with the Patriots for a career playoff fourth time, not a one of us thought these high powered offenses would be stopped. To many of us, these teams represented in the words of Mike and Mike stone cold lead pipe locks and surefire winners for that upcoming Super Bowl season. I mean how many number one defenses have ever shut down number one offenses? The New York Giants defense was ranked seventh in 2007 when they entered the playoffs. The number one ranked Steelers defense couldn t even handled the Patriots that year. But as it stands, great defenses seem to have a way of cutting great offenses down to size. The 85 Bears completely demolished the Patriots in Super Bowl XX. The 01 Patriots stymied the Greatest Show on Turf St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI. Gathering from what we ve seen on the football field, we know that a great defense tends to snuff out a great offense. As a result, I believe our culture has become grounded by defensiveness and knocked out of rhythm. The only side working with any rhythm is the defensive stances we ve taken on issues that others oppose. Defensive coordinators could probably come up with a few new schemes of their own if they could figure out how to translate what s happening in today s society in the film room. • 13. Slavery, Racism, And Slavery Essay Slavery began before racism in North America. To prove this I will provide an analysis of chronological events that displayed acts of slavery and racism. With that being said, Initially I will be delving into the earliest implementations of slavery in North America. That being Jamestown Virginia 1619. Secondly, analysing an extract from 1655, where an African man named Anthony Johnson claimed to own another black individual, John Casor as his property. Subsequently, moving onto Winthrop D Jordan s essay, The Mutual Causation of Racism and Slavery which will divulge the first instances of racism to occur in North America. Furthermore, touching on an article regarding legislators in Maryland, displaying one of the first laws enacted in North America, which were racist in nature. In contrast, expanding on a court document that was approved by white legislators showing that black individuals were allowed to own and bequeath property in the late seventeenth century. Penultimately, delving into the early eighteenth century where racism began to engulf North America. Lastly, summarizing that, due to the analysis and chronological order of the evidence presented, slavery began before racism. The first sign of slavery in North America began in August, of 1619. This was seen when twenty black men were sold to residents of Jamestown, Virginia by a dutch ship. • 14. Analysis Of Isaiah Berlin s Two Concepts Of Liberty In Two Concepts of Liberty , Isaiah Berlin examines two different conceptions of freedom: positive and negative liberty. He begins by discussing negative freedom, which he defines as the area within which the subject ... is or should be left to do or be what he is able to do or be, without interference by other persons (169). Under this definition, an individual is not free if he is coerced by another individual from making a decision he or she would naturally make. When discussing negative freedom, Berlin acknowledges that there is a fundamental level of freedom that is necessary for personal development that should not be intruded on by others (174). He contrasts this conception of negative freedom with positive freedom, which is concerned with the source of control or interference that can determine someone to do, or be, this rather than that (169). When discussing positive freedom, Berlin introduces the concept of the divided self, where an individual has two selves, a higher, rational self and a lower, instinctual self (180). Positive freedom focuses on the ability to develop the self mastery over the lower self and appeals to the higher self. Berlin argues that the positive conception of liberty is flawed because the concept of appealing to the higher self can be abused when the idea of a higher and lower self is applied to a collective group or society (181). • 15. Evolution And Its Impact On Human Evolution Humans have gone through many stages of adaptation, allowing for great expansion and our unrivaled dominance of the earth. So it could seem as though humans have reached the peak of evolutionary development. Evolution is often thought of as a natural process, and were it not for humans, this might be true. However, evolution, in the strictest sense, is a change in the genetic structure of a population (Jurmain, et al., 5). While natural selection is a major contributor to the process of evolution, humans are no longer as heavily influenced by these forces, as they once were. In fact, since the dawn of medicine, humans have actively impeded the process of evolution. By ensuring the survival and reproductive success of those who would otherwise be considered unfit, in that they would not otherwise survive. Francis Galton, and others, suggested regulation to control reproduction, and reduce/eliminate unfit characteristics. The eugenics movement led to a number of concerns over what the concept of fitness entails, often prioritizing physical characteristics over beneficial traits (Jurmain, et al., 391). Even today, and with great understanding of human genetics, concerns exist regarding the ability to control reproduction, and by extension, evolution. Some early works used genetics as a way to describe how humans differentiated. In one study, researchers sought to reconstruct a history of human evolution. By combining genetic findings with pre existing archaeological and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 18. How American Experience Reflects Global Faith With the lenses of a good historian, Noll has given us the role American Christianity has played in the changes that occur in global Christianity today. Terms like American experience , American Christianity , American Mission , American power , etc., undoubtedly express the American role in the expansion of Christianity. As they attempted to spread the gospel, Americans, by large, decontextualized neither their theology nor their understanding of missions. Hence, Noll rightly described in his book ...How American Experience Reflects Global Faith. Both American orthodoxy and orthopraxis were taught and reinforced as a golden standard in various parts of the world. Church buildings, musical instruments, ministers attire, choir robes, hymns, names of converts, schools and curriculums had Americans religious, cultural, and economic trademark. The Christianity that addressed issues of life in the American cultural context was transplanted in different parts of the world. Unlike the transition of the Hebraic Christianity from the Jewish culture to the Gentile world in the first century, which developed its own unique theological, cultural, and leadership identity in a short period of time, the phenomenal growth of Christianity in the majority world has been largely influenced by the dominance of American Christianity. As the result, we have Christian faith that is not well anchored on local theology. And to most of the churches in the majority world, up until recently, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In my issue paper, I will explore the idea of diversity, its benefits, and how it can be included within key sectors of the business world. Diversity is an important factor to the business place that allows employees and customers to interact with companies that value their background as an essential part of their business plan company culture. There are a myriad of benefits that diversity brings can bring to a company but most of my readings reflected on three main ideas of driving innovation, bettering recruitment, and capturing the global market. Diversity of race, gender, and social view can increase innovation and creativity. How does diversity do this? When different people are brought together to complete a task or solve a problem, they are bringing different information, perspective, and opinions. The need for diversity of expertise is obvious: the building of a new rocket ship requires the expertise of designers, engineers, and quality control experts. But informational diversity brings unique dimensions and experiences to thinking through a task. Oftentimes being with those that are similar to us can lead us to think that we hold the same details and information or share the same perspective, which hinders creativity and innovation. Although numerous compounds containing Lewis bases, such as nitriles and bipyridines and have been reported to be successful at the sorption of small molecules, the desorption of the guest often leads to structural collapse of the host. 1,2 Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) have shown to be a valuable class of newer materials that can support permanent porosity upon the evacuation of the framework. Unlike zeolites, which are fully inorganic, the flexibility in the choice of the organic linker comprising the backbone of the MOF structure makes the size of the poragen formed tunable for a wider ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One of the original and still most active fields of research in metal organic frameworks is in gas separation. While the ability of both rigid and flexible MOFs to adsorb is based on such factors as geometry of the gas as well as sorbate sorbent interactions, flexible MOFs are also dependent on structural rearrangements and the ability of the pore to change with thermodynamic conditions. Currently, most MOF investigations into gas separation are conducted by measuring the sorption and desorption of specific gases and relating isothermic data. MOFs are being looked to as next generation gaseous adsorbent materials in both industrial and environmental applications.9 One particular gas that is of growing environmental concern is CO2. As a byproduct of human created combustion activities, particularly in developed nations, the need to capture and sequester CO2 is becoming ever more apparent. In order to adsorb CO2, a metal organic framework must be functionalized for high selectivity towards the gas as well as possess the necessary enthalpy of adsorption. MOFs with open cation sites such as MOF 74 derivatives, as well as those containing amine functional groups are especially useful.10 The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The nails are looked after with this treatment in a very similar way to that of a manicure. Nails are cut, shortened and shaped. The cuticle or piece of skin below the nail is pushed back and the nails are cleaned and looked after. This all makes them look a lot better, should you bear them, gives you self confidence and is an overall relaxing procedure which many people will thoroughly enjoy. Feet are also often massaged with a food pedicure and reflexology techniques are used, just as they are in traditional manicures. The person will feel a sense of relaxation and joy as a foot massage is stimulating one of the most sensitive areas of the body and so has heady effects. Pedicure deals and the therapists will often use different sorts of lotions to look after the skin on the feet. • 39. The Role Of Uniform Law In The United States Introduction Almost seventy years ago Professor Hessel Yntema wrote that a large and diverse country needs a complex governmental structure that balances national interests and local liberties. The resulting complexity is accentuated by history. The United States traces its roots to geographically dispersed communities of migrants from different countries. They brought with them different cultural baggage. Followed by rapid industrialization, this introduced new problems and worsened old ones. Industrial accidents, complex corporate structures, labour unions and urbanization have induced increasingly detailed regulation. Yet, despite this complexity and diversity, Professor Yntema suggests that there is a fundamental unity of law in the United ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Federalisation of law by Constitutional Decisions of the US Supreme Court Supreme Court decisions instantly bring legal unification. The Court is best at prohibiting contradictory legislation, but also does well on prescribing positive legislation. Where the Court does prescribe these specific rules, typically these norms overwhelm any state rules. For example, on January 21, 1973, first trimester abortion was legal in some states and illegal in others. On January 22, 1973, when the Supreme Court decided the case of Roe v Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), it became legal in all states. While this approach has the upside of immediate applicability, it also has drawbacks. When constitutionalizing an issue you largely eliminate legislative solutions. These legislative solutions can be political compromises. They can change as political temperaments change. They can make clear rules that are easy to apply, but may not be that easy to justify. Constitutional solutions are, by the nature of American constitutional decision making, judge made solutions, normally no clear rules. They invite litigation to change them or just to determine what they mean, for there is no other way to obtain an authoritative interpretation. Other examples of unifying law through the US Supreme Court are the Brady materials and the Miranda ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 40. The Use Of Art And The Focal Points Established as a military fort, Dura Europos fended off Persian invaders from the Roman Empire. The Persians eventually defeated Dura, however when the city was rediscovered many monuments were found (Tronzo). The most common form of surviving art consisted of paintings found on the interior walls of buildings in Dura. In particular, two buildings were found that had been used as religious meeting places. The first is a domus ecclesiae which is Greek for house church that belonged to the Christian community (Tronzo). The second is a Jewish synagogue that was built in Dura specifically for use by the Jews. Both of these establishments contain paintings that were used for ritual and symbolism, but they differ in a couple key ways: their narrative, their style, and their focus. In particular, this paper seeks to compare the use of art and the focal points (or niche) in the domus ecclesiae and the synagogue. The domus ecclesiae was established around 235 CE. The artist is unknown, but definitely made by Christians. This is evidenced by the location of the murals. These murals lie deep inside a home in Dura Europos, and are not accessible directly from the front. Secco is used in these paintings, and was much easier to use than fresco. This style of painting was cheaper than fresco because it allowed the artist to paint onto dry plaster instead of painting into wet plaster. The style is interesting, because the murals are not lavish (Tronzo). For example, although the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 41. Essay on Terry McMillan s Women Terry McMillan s Women Terry McMillan grabs her audience s attention by filling her books with romance, tension, and sex: ...it s the roiling currents among family, friends and lovers that McMillan is most comfortable writing about (Skow 77). Her customary characters are strong African American women who are well off; many have jobs, families, and security. Although these women seemingly have all these necessities, they long for more. As they experience life, they embark on an eternal search for connection (Donahue n. pag.). They create bonds with friends, siblings and children, but, above all, McMillan stresses their relationships with men. McMillan s maincharacters need these close ties to other people to survive ... Children provide a connection and provide an outlet for one s love. This relationship gives the women a sense of security. The mothers in McMillan s books receivepartial completeness from their relationships with their children. Bernadine, in Waiting to Exhale, has two children. She gets joy out of motherhood but also feels the burden of raising them. Bernadine knew that her husband wanted children just out of obligation to fulfill the American Dream and be more like those in the white community. Her husband s desires ultimately determined her life: He wouldn t let you put them in day care, because he thought those places weredangerous. So you spent your afternoon taking John Junior to piano lessons, karate . . . . He hadyou convinced you that being a good mother meant staying at home with the children until they were at least school age. (31) When he asked for a third child, Bernadine took her needs into consideration and refused. She is proud of her children, who add value to her life, but their needs also contribute to the obstacles preventing her from starting her own catering services, and fulfilling one of her own dreams.
