Vast mountain ranges and rocky cliffs come to mind. Those are both some obvious factors as to why
agricultural practices may be hard in the region, but other than physical boundaries, what are the
difficulties of growing in this mountainous region? I will surely need to know these if I plan to make a
living off of growing in the mountains. My fascination for how native tribes work with the land raised
the question of what crops were originally grown/are native, in Appalachia prior to the European
invasion bringing about other crops. Were these new crops brought in essential for a growing
population or were they destructive to the soil, being invasive plants? Tying into the idea of native
crops, I would love to look more into the herbs found within the forests of Appalachia. Wanting to be
a doula and homesteader, I have found interest in researching the benefits of medicinal herbs on the
pains of childbirth. Finding those herbs right here in Appalachia would be ideal. The encyclopedia had
a section entirely on mushrooms. I did not dive into what it said because at this point I am just seeking
questions. I am wondering, however, why do mushrooms grow well here? Is it simply because of the
thick canopy of the forest providing ample shade or do these mountains contain particular nutrients

In the essay, The Storyteller, Sandra Cisneros describes different aspects that happened throughout her
life. For example, she talks about family traditions, her independence, how her father didn t agree with
her decision to become a writer. Cisneros also describes about how passionate she is about her writing

The City Of The Streets
As the sun reaches its horizon and the shadows of buildings cast endless shade, people from all over
Denton come out to the square (downtown). The freedom to roam around, catch a bite, a coffee, read a
book, hang out with friends or even just relax is there. A variety of shops surrounds Denton s
courthouse giving the people choices from choosing an ice cream shop to getting a tattoo. However, as
many people would say there is one particular spot that catches our attention even from a couple
blocks back. A building on the south side of the courthouse is illuminated by a red and blue neon
guitar logo that lights the night away. While a band plays its music on the rooftop of the building.
Underneath the neon lights, crowds of people are standing next to the red brick walls waiting to be
called in by an LSA hostess.
As I walk in I am greeted with a welcoming smile, and a fresh smell of cooked burgers but beyond
that I look to my left and see a column of artist s names hanging on the walls. Above the names there
is a beautiful piece of artwork filled with colors, in resemblance to Leonardo da Vinci s The last

These different areas and fields are mostly based on the breeds of cattle. Distinct breeds did not
emerge until the second half of the 18th century when the industrial revolution in Europe required
more productive animals (Ritchie 1). This is because they had now made vehicles to use to move

My Experience At Uztea And British Council s Project
Working abroad was yet another eye opening and challenging experience which shaped me both as a
teacher and a person overall.
For example, I had to adapt myself to more effective ways to get my message across when interacting
with teachers and students since almost all of them were from different countries and they had
absolutely different motivation to work and study. Life abroad was different from life I got use to in
Uzbekistan.
However, thanks to my previous work experience at UzTEA and British Council s project I managed
to rule out many situations with positive outcomes. Furthermore, the language center was small and I
was in an excellent time period where I had to work with the language center owner and the director
shoulder to shoulder and built the future of the language center almost from the scratch. Under their

During the late 19th century, Friedrich Nietzsche examined the history of morals in his Genealogy of
Morals. In his work, Nietzsche reveals the origin of morality, and he goes further to tear down the

Apollinarius was the bishop of Laodicea who developed the heretical position concerning the nature
of Christ. Originally, a supporter of orthodoxy against the Arians, his Christological teaching becomes
a heresy among scholars, at a synod in Rome in 374 380 and by the Council of Constantinople in 381.
The primary opponents of Apollinarius were Athanasius, the Cappadocian Fathers (the two
Gregories), and Epiphanius. ¬ The Church Fathers sought to defend themselves against Apollinarius s
