Covers all content Teacher is responsible for covering /presenting material Teacher provides instruction ID unique student abilities, challenges, and motives first. Focuses on getting clear about what students need to learn. Select important content that is difficult to teach and learn. Teacher is responsible for student demonstration of intended learning Teacher provides experiences
Poor design requires that a teacher spends time on the back end in the form of re-teaching, remediation, tutoring, and retesting.
Good design requires that a teacher spends time on the front end appealing to students needs, values, and motives which will increase the probability that students will learn what is intended.
