This document discusses going mobile and what it takes to build mobile applications. It notes that more people will use mobile phones than PCs to access the internet, and by 2015 there will be one mobile device per person. Companies need mobile applications to stay connected to customers who expect to access information and conduct transactions anywhere, anytime. Special features of mobile devices provide opportunities to interact with customers in new ways. The document asks questions about management, organization and technology issues in building mobile apps, how user requirements differ from traditional systems, and how business processes changed for USAA after deploying mobile apps.

Enterprise Mobility is not a new concept, but these days it is having a disruptive impact on many organizations. Many IT departments feel unable to respond effectively due to the influx of new devices and the growing internal demand for app development. When trying to deal with these challenges, the result is often the sacrifice of long-term effectiveness to meet short-term goals.
Now is the time to actively create a roadmap to guide your organization's mobility efforts, especially if Gartner's predictions prove accurate- that within 2 to 3 years, 40% of the workforce will be mobile and 70% of customers will interact with you via mobile device.

As businesses continue to leverage their existing investments in IAM, it's becoming increasingly critical that organizations future proof their security and IAM services. Doing this while establishing the utmost agility and delivering to the business is going to be most critical.

The era of the Mobile Enterprise is here to stay. Mobile penetration is unprecedented: subscribers are growing four times faster than the world’s population. To remain successful, CIOs must continuously investigate, prioritize, fund, adopt, and integrate multiple new technologies to support vital organizational objectives.
The paper outlines a practical “how-to” guidance to strategize and implement more effective mobile enterprise programs and details the robust capabilities that mobile enterprise partners can bring to the development and support of your corporate owned device or BYOD mobile enterprise programs.
micE Model for Defining Enterprise Mobile Strategyidescitation
Enterprises develop mobile solutions based on competitor offerings and
immediate business needs, without a clear enterprise wide mobile strategy. Thin, thick and
hybrid mobile apps, enterprise mobile platforms, mobile cloud services are all available
across a range of budgets and timing needs, and can be leveraged based on requirement.
Enterprise mobile strategy is typically viewed from the lenses of the IT stakeholders, who
often times have very focused and narrow agendas. The outcome of proceeding with point
solutions to address immediate needs, is unused licenses, replication of effort, rework due to
lack of proper guidelines and other issues that all lead to increased capital and operational
expenditure. This paper defines a user centric, holistic micE model for defining enterprise
mobile strategy and a staged process in leveraging the model in enterprise context.

A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.

Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.

Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Question 2. How does user requirement definition for
mobile applications differ from that in traditional systems
analysis?
User requirement definition for mobile applications are differ
from that in traditional systems analysis are as follows:-
(a) Requirements analysis also called requirements
engineering, is the process of determining user
expectations for a new or modified product.
(b) Requirements and mobile experts said there are three
critical issues that are unique to mobile apps and should
be addressed in the requirements phase:-
10. (a) Choosing a plat form
(b) Security
(c) Usability
Choosing a plat form
(i) When defining mobile app requirements, teams,
first need to determine which hardware and
operating system to application will run on.
(ii) This is not applicable for developing
enterprise desktop applications. If the organization
uses Windows desktops, the application is built to
run on Windows.
(iii) For mobile applications; many
organizations allow employees to access corporate
resources from their own mobile devices.
11. Security
(i) Security requirements for mobile apps are not the
same as those for enterprise apps. That’s because
people are regularly taking sensitive data outside the
corporation. Not only are they exchanging data on
insecure networks, the devices themselves tend to be
insecure and tend to get lost.
(ii) A number of requirements must have address how
data will be protected. For example how customer
ensure that data remains secured on a device that the
organization does not their own? How do the
customers wipe that data without touching personal
data? How do the customers maintain visibility of
corporate data without visibility of personal data?
11
12. Usability
(i) Regardless, your requirements must strike a balance
between protecting data and maintaining user-
friendliness. The application developer must make
sure that security requirements aren’t making the
user experience awful.
(ii) It could even spell success or failure of an app. The
user experience will be mirrored by the rating of the
app in the app store, and negative ratings can be the
source of significant sales losses.
