WebMail 2.0 is an updated version of the previous WebMail interface. It features a static menu bar at the top for easy access to functions like email, calendar, address book. The left navigation bar lists folders for navigation. Messages can be read, replied to, forwarded or deleted from the message view screen. Composing and addressing features allow drafting, attaching files, and accessing the address book. User preferences control interface colors, sounds and other display settings. Help is available through context-sensitive help and scheduled training sessions.

3. WebMail 2.0 Login Page Current version does not allow you to select the language preference from the login screen.

4. WebMail 2.0 InBox Page After entering your user id and password you will be directed immediately to your inbox.

5. WebMail 2.0 Inbox Page Both versions of the inbox are similarly organized: The Menu Bar contains all available functions (search, compose, create folders, etc.) The Left Navigation Bar contains the folders to ease navigation. Main Area (where all the action takes place) 1 2 3

6. WebMail 2.0 Menu Bar The new menu bar is static and will always be at the top of the screen. The menu bar contains links to functions for managing and using e-mail, addresses, calendar, and folders. Compose, Calendar, Search, Options, Help, and Sign Out (Log Out) options still available from the menu bar. Address Book and the HCPL home page are now accessible via the menu bar. The folder option on the new menu bar is a create folder option and not a folder navigator as in the old version.

7. WebMail 2.0 Left Navigation Bar This bar contains a list of folders and is available for navigation only. Navigate to Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Trash and other created folders. Some features like Organizing (Calendar and Address Book) and Options are now on the menu bar. Other features like Information (for news and alerts) and Web Site (for polls) are no longer available. Notice the quota usage is displayed here.

8. WebMail 2.0 Message Screen View Sender, Date, and Subject Select all or some messages. Move, Forward or Delete messages. Mark messages as Read or Unread. Navigate by selecting next or the number of the page you would like to view. See navigation and quantity status (the number of the message being viewed currently, the total number of messages, the folder being viewed currently, etc.)

9. WebMail 2.0 Read Message Page Click on any message link in the inbox page to read your messages. Reply or forward the message Go to the previous or next message

WebMail 2.0 Compose Page Click on Compose link on left frame or when you click on “reply” button within the “Read Message” page Insert signature, consult the address, save draft, and check spelling. To add an attachment, click the “Browse” button, find & open the file to attach, and click on the “Add” button

11. WebMail 2.0 Address Book Click on the “Addresses” link on the menu bar View Nickname, Name, E-mail, and Info for each entry. Add names to the address book using the form at the bottom of the screen Import and export address book (to be covered in a separate session)

12. WebMail 2.0 Calendar Click on the “Calendar” link on the menu bar Choose month view or day view for scheduled appointments. Features like Tasks, Notes, and Bookmarks are not available in this version.

13. WebMail 2.0 Mini-Calendar A mini-calendar can be added to the navigation bar Scroll to the bottom of the Options page. Check Small Calendar and choose a font for the calendar display. Click the Submit button.

WebMail 2.0 Options Personal Information: Name, Address, Signature, and Reply-To E-mail (forwarding messages) Display Preferences, Message Preferences, and NewMail Options control color, and sounds for incoming messages. Checker and Display Preferences control default language, language(s) for spell-checking, and settings for personal dictionary. Message Filters Folder preferences and Index Order control the way folders and messages are displayed. New Feature: Change Your Password
