The Migration Of The European Union
The current issue I will be covering within this paper will be the ongoing migration of individuals
from northern African states, such as Syria and Libya, into Europe and states contained within the
European Union as a result of furthering IS advancement in the region. The displacement of these
individuals or migrants form their home lands not only causes severe socioeconomic strains on the
nations of Syria and Libya on top of the current political conflict, but it also afflicts the resources and
politics of the nations these individuals migrate to in order to escape the current conflict. There really
is not limit to the amount of actors involved within, what now is a global issue. Relevant actors range

President of the European Council, Donald Tusk addressed the European Parliament during a March
European Council meeting that it would not be possible to apply the same approach used for the
Balkans to unstable Libya . The approach being to cut off certain parts of the borders between the sea
and other European nations in order to more accurately process migrants to ensure safety and stability
for the people not only in the European Union, but for the whole of Europe. Tusk and other European
PM s have been under fire by some of international community and some other European nations
whilst reaching a deal between the EU and Turkey in response to the sizable amount of refugees
crossing the Mediterranean Sea between Turkey and Greece, which has been coined at the most
dangerous route, taking countless number of refugee lives. The alternative route include passage
through various EU nations, leaving the possibility to lose track of migrants, not only providing false
data in terms of logistics of migrants traveling to and from their country of origin, but also
contributing to an uneven allocation of resources for the nation where these individuals end up,
potentially causing a shortage of assets to appropriately manage the amount of refugees

Thousand Splendid Suns
A Thousand Splendid Suns is a fifty one chapter fictional writing by Khaled Hosseini. It tells the story
of two women who live in Afghanistan, and their lives with an abusive husband. The author uses a
diversity of techniques such as foreshadowing and multiple plots. A great example of the use of such
techniques is when, in chapter 5, Nana says to Mariam Don t leave me, Mariam jo. Please stay. I ll die
if you go. , foreshadowing her own suicide. The novel starts with the story of two completely
unrelated women, Mariam and Laila, whose connection to each other will only come up later in the
book. This is means the book has multiple plots. The author wrote the novel in the third person
omniscient point of view. In part three, the narrator shifts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example when Jalil, in his letter to Mariam in chapter 50 says, Now all I can do is ask for your
forgiveness. So forgive me, Mariam jo, it becomes visible he regrets the way he treated Mariam. Also,
when the narrator says, Mariam is never very far [...] Mariam is in Laila s own heart, where she shines
with the bursting radiance of a thousand splendid suns, in chapter 51, we can see how much Mariam
affected Laila s life. In chapter 47, moments before the execution, the reader can see how close the
women have become, when the narrator says, ...she was leaving the world as a woman who had loved
and been loved back. She was leaving it as a friend, a companion, a guardian. Sometimes, quotes can
foreshadow future events in the story. When Nana tells Mariam, Like a compass needle that always
points north, a man s accusing finger always finds a woman. Always. You, a hint is given as to what
awaits for Mariam in her future. The title of the novel is a fragment of a poem which, in chapter 26,
Mullah Faizullah recites to Mariam: One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs, and
the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her

Ontological Contentions
A standout amongst the most interesting contentions for the presence of an all impeccable God is the
ontological contention. While there are a few distinct renditions of the contention, all indicate to
demonstrate that it is self conflicting to deny that there exists a biggest conceivable being. In this way,
on this general line of contention, it is an essential truth that such a being exists; and this being is the
Divine force of conventional Western belief in higher powers. This article clarifies and assesses great
and contemporary forms of the ontological contention.
The vast majority of the contentions for God s presence depend on no less than one exact commence.
For instance, the calibrating variant of the outline contention relies

Various religions Essay
Throughout the Hindu and Christian religion various rituals are performed by followers. These rituals
allow the followers to celebrate in their beliefs. The most popular practice performed in almost every
religion is prayer and or meditation. Prayer and meditation allow followers to come together and
praise a God or gods. Hinduism has commonly been viewed as a polytheistic religion, one that
worships multiple deities: gods and goddesses, while Christianity is a Monotheistic tradition.
Hindus believe in the repetitious transmigration of the soul. This is the transfer of one s soul after
death into another body. This produces a continuing cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth ... Show

You would love the deity not in the Christian God like sense, but as you would love a friend, parent,
or a child, Christians do not practice yoga as a form of prayer or meditation, but rather gather weekly
to meet for worship in commemoration of the Lord Jesus resurrection. They rejoice and reflect on the
life and teachings of Jesus. Prayer is a form of meditation for Christians because it requires
observance and concentration. When we pray to God we are observing his power and concentrate on
what it is we wish to reflect on. Christians pray to God to repent on certain acts that are sinful, by
asking God for forgiveness one will be saved and given eternal life.
Hindus believe for everything you do wrong you will be punished. For every action, there is an equal
and opposite reaction, if not in this life, then the next. The yoga discipline allows, through pure acts,
thoughts and devotion, one can be reborn at a higher level. Christians, on the other hand do not believe
in rebirth, but rather eternal happiness in the afterlife. Our afterlife being heaven or hell. Both
religions have very distinct beliefs and are extremely opposite but their idea for prayer and meditation
is similar. Both religions use the daily ritual of prayer and or meditation as an act of reflection and a
process for reaching the ultimate goal of an ideal

Allusions In Brave New World
After the publishing of Aldous Huxley s Brave New World, modern literature has changed forever. It
is considered a masterpiece and one of the pillars of the dystopian novel. However, both of those
affirmations can be called into question. The former based on a subjective opinion of a reader and the
latter through compromising its dystopian nature. Similarly to George Orwell s novels, the main
appeal of Brave New World is within the ideas it contains, not within its literary merits. Huxley s
talent is essentially composed of his ideas and the attitude he assumes towards the problems he
presents. He took full advantage of his endowment in Brave New World Revisited, a non fiction work
sequel to Brave New World. The sequel is devoid of a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Aldous Huxley himself seems to be more concerned with the scientific aspect of Brave New World
than with literary techniques and qualities. In a later edition of his novel, he expressed his opinion
that: One vast and obvious failure of foresight is immediately apparent, Brave New World contains no
reference to nuclear fission. Evidently, he pondered the topic of Brave New World over and over and
was not afraid to admit his faults. This utterly scientific approach is illustrated by his formulation of
the sequel, Brave New World Revisited. Clearly Huxley must have seen Brave New World as more
than just a literary fiction novel, if he was so persistant he felt the need to recapitulate all his ideas
after almost thirty years and furthermore, abandon the literary fiction. Having said that, it must be
acknowledged that if Brave New World would have been written as a non fiction work, a scientific
essay for example, it would have never been able to spread to the extent it did as a novel. That is a
motive possibly explaining Huxley s choice of genre. But does someone who does not care about
science deserve to enjoy the merits of scientific prognosis? Whether such person does or does not
deserve it is controvertible to judge, therefore whether the motive was justifying Huxley s decision or
not can be disputed. But Brave New World could only profit from being refined for less general
audience. One of the most interesting elements in Brave New World is the

Uranium Mining in Australia Essay
To what extent should there be limitation on the mining of uranium in Australia ?
Uranium has become a big issue as an alternative energy resource in the future due to the shortage of
fossil fuel as a primary energy resource in the world. Australia is one of country that has the largest
uranium deposits in the globe. So, Australia has important opportunity to make a lot of money from
uranium exports to other countries. However, the Australian Government is still debating this issue
because of the negative impact of uranium mining and exploration. For these reason, some people
believe that uranium mining has more positive impacts on the economy such as, income benefits from
uranium exports and an increase a new job opportunities. However, ... Show more content on

They also point out that the industry has forty per cent of the world uranium reserves. Based on that
reasons, the uranium industry in Australia could make a big profit from export of uranium if the
government takes it seriously. Also, they should be good regulation for uranium trading such as local
trading and international trading. So, some people think that there should not be limitations on mining
of uranium. Another argument against the limitations on uranium mining in Australia is that uranium
mining can increase job opportunities to local people in Australia. According to Greenpeace Australia
Pacific (2006), the uranium industry could create a large number of job opportunities because this
industry needs a lot of employees to support this industry. If the Australian Government expands its
uranium mining, it will create potential local jobs and it would be one solution to solve the
unemployment problem. So, some people believe that the limitation of uranium mining is not
necessary because it can reduce job opportunities in Australia. These economic concerns are important
in the uranium mining debate because the Australian Government can make huge profits from that
industry and solve the unemployment problem as well. However, there are some important aspects
that must be considered such as, uranium as the main material for nuclear weapons, nuclear power is
not efficient or effective, and there is harmful radiation from the mining of uranium. The first reason

Greg Hefley
I am reading this book and apparently, it is a diary that records the life of a kid named Greg Hefley. At
first, I wasn t planning on choosing that book because I m not a diary type of guy until I read it. This
kid has a quite interesting life. I really enjoy reading this book. Greg reminds me of myself because
we are both teenagers and I understand exactly his feelings as a teenager. I think the author writes the
diary to record about his personal life. Also, he writes it for parents to read so they could understand
their child s life. Parents and teenagers usually have different thoughts because they were born in
different period of time. Adults have old and traditional thoughts about life while teenagers do what
they want so sometimes, there would be conflicts between them. I think that is one of the reasons why
the author writes the diary. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Greg always causes problems to Rowley but Rowley never gives up on him because they always have
each other s back.Another lesson I got from the story was that you learn from the mistakes you make.

even though it doesn t always work. But after all the disappointments, they still figure out a way to

Public Schools Should Not Be The Place For Religious...
One of the many foundations of the United States as a nation was religion. When people fled their
homes in search of a new place, one of the many reasons was due to religious freedom. Almost
immediately conflicts arose between religions, and their belief systems. No problems seem to arise
with teaching religion to children in school until the 1900 s. That is when the courts decided religious
instructions in public schools would be deemed unconstitutional. Court cases started around the
country with people fighting against religious instruction in public schools, many accusing teachers of
putting their beliefs in their teachings. The young, and impressionable minds of children should not be
exposed to another persons religious beliefs because they can easily be swayed in a certain direction.
This is why religious practices, such as prayer, and the teachings of creationism should not be allowed
in public schools. Public schools should not be the place for religious practices for many reasons.
Firstly, there a several different ways in which having those practices in public schools goes against
the Constitution, and the Establishment Clause, which does not allow public schools to endorse any
religion. Secondly, as children are minors in age, so are their minds. Children can easily be swayed in
a certain direction if they witness an authority figure expressing a certain belief. Having religious
practices in public schools also goes against many science classes with the

The Republican platform discusses several elements that are in contrast with the TDP. The subject of
school choice is described as the ability to allow parents to choose their children s school. The use of
educational funds would be given to use in public, private, charter, or for home schooling. The school
choice is proposed to by funded by tax credits and or exemptions.
One founding principle that is listed in the platform is that separation of the public facilities at schools

How Principals Should Apply Instructional Leadership...
In a well researched and scholarly book, Doctors Joesph and Jo Blase accomplish two tasks: outlining
how principals should apply instructional leadership skills while performing their jobs, and describing
how principals should maintain positive relationships with their teachers while still effectively
leading. As well published, credentialed authors in the field of educational leadership, the both of the
Blases serve as credible sources on the topic. To accomplish their desired tasks, the authors divide the
book into brief chapters that each explain either an attribute of instructional leadership or a method for
maintaining positive principal teacher relations. According to the authors themselves, the book s
shows what successful instructional leaders do to enhance teaching and learning and the effects that
their behaviors have on teachers performance and well being (xiii). Through the authors careful
organization of research, use of primary sources, and use of secondary sources, the book accomplishes
this goal.
To organize their research, the Blases first divide their information into the broad categories of Part I:
The Art and Science of Instructional Leadership and Part II: How Supervisor s Behaviors Positive and
Negative Affect Teachers. By first dividing their information into these two broad categories, the
authors effectively organize their research. While the concept of carrying out instructional leadership,
as described in Part I, and how leaders should

Susan Cain s Suitcase Of Introversion
Susan Cain and her suitcase of introversion Susan Cain, a well known and appreciated writer from

Paradox Of Ozone
1. What is ozone?
Ozone (O₃) is a type of gas comprised of three oxygen atoms, and is both colourless and odourless.
2. Explain the paradox that ozone is considered a health hazard, yet is essential to life on Earth.
Ozone is both a health hazard and vital for life on Earth because if the gas enters the lungs, or comes
in contact with any living tissue, it can result in damage in that particular tissue and illness. However,
ozone is important as it shields life on Earth from the sun s dangerous rays through the form of an
ozone layer, which is located 15 30km above the Earth s surface.
3. Explain, using the chemical equations, how ozone forms in the stratosphere.
Ozone is formed in the stratosphere through the ozone oxygen cycle . This is where UV light hits a
molecule of oxygen gas; breaks it apart and forms two separate oxygen atoms.
O₂(g) + UV light → 2O(g)
When this oxygen atom meets oxygen gas, ozone gas is created.
O(g) + O₂(g) → O₃(g)

skin lesions. Exposure to UV B rays can also result in the development of cataracts in the eyes and
vision impairment. Similarly in plants, UV B rays affect DNA and cell processes. These effects
become apparent during photosynthesis, reducing plant sizes and harming reproductive and immune
systems. Because plants also store lots of carbon within their cells, UV radiation can eventually

My Interview By Thomas Travers, A, New Jersey And Worked...
My interview was with Thomas Travers, a Technical Specialist that lives in Wharton, New Jersey and
worked at Tiffany and Co. for 18 years. When Mr. Travers started to work for Tiffany and Co. back in
1998, he had to be familiarized with the IBM AS/400, which is a midrange computer that is now in the
IBM Iseries. On the IBM AS/400 he worked with tools and languages such as RPG, CL, and qm
query, which are used to bundle a bunch of queries that are in SQL. He also used operating system
commands and RPG programs on the AS/400 to be able to put all the objects in a CL. He has also
worked with SQL Server, C# and .NET programming for front end development and business
applications. Since Mr. Travers works on different projects and different parts of the technical aspect
of Tiffany and Co. , his typical workday fluctuates in what kind of work he does and how much of a
workload there is. Recently, as far as when the interview was taken, he and his team were at the end of
development on a large project that has been in the works for about two years. They were going to go
live with it the week after the interview took place. What this meant for Mr. Travers to do during that
time was to go through the project and to make sure that there are no bugs in the programming and to
get every part set up and ready for execution before the deadline. Once deadline arrives, he will start

Technolgy and American Societies Today
Technology has taken an overwhelming presence within American societies today. Careers, education,
volunteering, advertising and now even fundraising can be done solely from one s computer. With this
relatively new trend, companies must take advantage of the time clients spend online to further their
own organizations. There are three simple techniques that companies should utilize and implement to
profit from the new technological era.
The process of affiliate marketing is extremely important for publicity and fundraising. This is when
an organization directs traffic from its own website to a different organization s website in order to
promote a product, good or service of that organization s with the promise of receiving a percentage of
the proceeds in return. Companies can profit significantly from this process if used correctly and
partnered with the right organizations. Many popular companies participate in affiliate marketing,
such as Amazon, local grocery stores, sporting goods stores, etc. It does not cost anything to establish
an affiliate marketing relationship with a company, but can have exponential rewards.
The concept of online donating and memberships is an excellent way companies can benefit from the
Web. Asking face to face for money can make both the asker and the potential giver uncomfortable,
and with the wrong atmosphere laid, it can cost an organization a substantial donation. The
opportunity to donate online provides clients with a private,

Barack Obama s The Audacity Of Hope
On July 27, 2004, Barack Obama arguably made his greatest speech, The Audacity of Hope , at the
Democratic National Convention Keynote Address. All the way through his piece, Obama focuses on
connecting himself to Americans. However, Barack Obama was a US Senate candidate for the United
States president, and in making this speech, uses this connection to raise his reputation rather than to
simply amuse the audience. Throughout The Audacity of Hope speech, Barack Obama implements
three main devices to raise his political popularity: abstract language, repetition, and structure. Part of
The Audacity of Hope is Obama s use of abstract words, which help to associate the piece to everyone
s individual view of these words. In other words, since abstract words have no explicit definitions, the
words fit to the person who defines them. Obama states, John Kerry believes in the Constitutional
freedoms that have made our country the envy of the world, and he will never sacrifice our basic
liberties, nor use faith as a wedge to divide us. In this sentence, Obama uses the words freedoms ,
sacrifice , liberties , and faith to describe John Kerry and what he does. By using these abstract words,
Obama creates a perfect American image, one that stands for everything America stands for. This is
powerful. By comparing a person to a highly symbolic figure, such as the United States, Obama
invokes high emotions among the audience, or the pathos of the piece, which he then puts onto

Dbq Reconstruction Research Paper
America and we as Americans have faced many hardships. One of these trying times was the period
from 1865 1877, the era known as Reconstruction. Several plans for Reconstruction were developed,
but for these [then] divided states, adversity and unforeseen circumstances would test the resolve of
our government and its constituency. The success and failures of each plan are outlined to reveal how
the country struggled to re united during this violate time. The assertion being Reconstruction was
both a success in that it passed legislation for Civil Rights and re united the Union, but failed to secure
those rights and prosperity of former slaves. The plans presented were similar in that they required an

recognizing the abolishment of slavery. These plans differed in the severity of their implementation as
well as who is permitted to take the oath to rejoin the Union. President Lincoln s Plan, or Ten Percent

The Endocrine System Is Made Up Of Cells And Glands That
The endocrine system is made up of cells and glands that make hormones and release them into the
blood. These hormones help to regulate reproduction, sleep, metabolism, cell growth, and
development. The word endocrine is a derivative from two Greek words: endo , which means within
or inside, and krinis , which is a verb for secrete. In the endocrine system, there are different glands
that each excrete different hormones. All of these glands are ductless, and secrete their hormones
straight into the blood stream. Some of these glands are the pineal gland, the thyroid and parathyroid
glands, the pancreas, and the thymus. These glands are located in various parts of the body. This

which sends signals to the thyroid to produce hormones, and corticotropin, which also sends signals to

conventional and refused to bend to the rules, exactly what Britain craved at the time. John Lennon
recalls his manager saying Look, if you really want to get in these bigger places, you re going to have
to change stop eating on stage, stop swearing, stop smoking ... . After conquering Britain, they gained
over American with I Want To Hold Your Hand. They took the essence of the 1960s and put it into
their songs. Songs such as Another Girl and All My Loving replicated the care free attitudes
symbolised by this music, and symbolised cultural phenomena of the time, such as town hall rock and
fad dance crazes. But not everyone was pleased by the Beatle s popularity; to some, like Philip Larkin,
their impact on British society was largely overrated. To him, they were just an enchanting and
intoxicating hybrid of Negro rock and roll with their own adolescent

Star Wars is a global phenomenon that brings fun, adventure and excitement to millions of fans
worldwide. With the release of the three movies of the prequel trilogy a whole new set of characters
and adventures were introduced to the Star Wars fandom. Characters like Obi Wan Kenobi, JarJar
Binks, Padme Admidala introduced a new generation to the battle for control of the galaxy between
the suporters of the Peaceful Galactic Republic and the evil Galactic Empire. To celebrate the new
films in the legendary franchise LEGO released a wide range of building sets based of scenes,
characters, and events of the movies. For those who love star wars, especially episodes I, II, and III
these sets are a great way to bring the action to life in your own home regardless of your age.
There are a great many prequel trilogy building sets to be enjoyed including perhaps one that
celebrates what is arguable the most important moment in all of the first three movies, when good Jedi
knight Anakin Skywalker finally succumbs to the power of the dark side to gain the power to protect
his wife Padme and their unborn children. In his rage he is gravly injured and to save his life the
emperor uses advanced technology to turn him into the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. At that moment,
the events of the original trilogy of movies. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Summary Of Saints And Scenes From The Life Of The Virgin...

Saints and Scenes from the Life of the Virgin While searching several amazing online museums I had
in mind locating something in relation to the Archangel Gabriel. I find biblical pieces to really speak
to me and I wanted to learn more about Gabriel. I originally found the Miniature Plaque: Archangel
Gabriel in soapstone but found it not so easy to find exact pictures or sufficient information. Instead I
found something even better with so much detail and unspoken holiness. The Met has a piece known
as Saints and Scenes from the Life of the Virgin . It is a left panel/wing of a portable triptych of which
the center has yet to be located. I was in amazement with the left half as ... Show more content on

This was accomplished in a seamless manner as this piece looks so natural. Foreshortening was used
in most the panels especially the idle one where the Virgin is laying in an almost upright slumber. She
appears to have a very long torso and legs, while the Saints beneath her appear to be shorter in height
and those sitting even have shortened legs. The bottom piece as she is sitting in the highchair holding
baby Jesus she again appears to be exaggerated with a longer upper body. The proportion in relation to
the whole piece is true to size except showing the Virgin to be larger than life almost in a sense. All
the Saints appear to be the same size in scale whereas the Virgin is longer in the legs and upper body.
The Master of Monte Oliveto dates back to ca. 1320. He worked on small pieces for personal
devotion. Many have written about this artist s style in several forms all agreeing his work was
exceptional. Leaving the eyes to gaze at his wonderful work and other artists to try to recreate his

The story takes place at a fictitious town called Bearington where the Uniware manufacturing plant of
the UniCo Company is situated. Whatever products the plant manufactures was not mentioned in the
novel. The plant is headed by the plant manager Alex Rogo who is also the lead character of the novel.
The problems begin when one upset customer approaches Alex s boss, Bill Peach about a very late
order. Actually Alex s plant has not been profitable for some time and because of that Bill gives an
ultimatum to Alex to turn the plant around in 3 months or else the plant will be closed unless there are

Alex decided to meet with Jonah in New York in order to fix their plant problem. But once again,
Jonah leaves Alex with another question, what does the combination of dependent events and
statistical fluctuations have to do with your plant?
During the weekend, Alex went to a hiking trip with his son and got stuck as a troop master . During
the hiking, Alex discovers Alex discovers the importance of dependent events in relation to statistical
fluctuations . With this discovery, he also found out that the bottleneck s speed of production is what
determines the speed of the other dependents. Hence, inventory moves very slowly because of
statistical fluctuations.
Back to the plant, Alex with his team begins their search for their plant s bottlenecks. Then they found
one the machine (NCX 10) and the heat treatment as the source plant s bottlenecks. Alex invites Jonah
to visit his plant in order to solve their bottlenecks problem. Jonah define bottleneck as any resource
whose capacity is equal to or less than the demand placed upon it and a non bottleneck is any resource
whose capacity is greater than the demand placed on it. With Jonah s help, Alex and his team able to
solve their bottlenecks problem such as perform the quality control testing before going into the
bottleneck, do not produce parts for inventory produce only what is in demand, produce smaller
batches to increase productivity for the whole process, etc. One thing that they also learn from

Tree Kangaroo Welfare Essay
Matschie s tree kangaroo (Dendrolagus matschiei) population is declining significantly, so to conserve
this species, captive breeding programs have been conducted in zoos. Research has shown presence of
visitors can have negative impacts on animal welfare, but the welfare implications of visitors on tree
kangaroos have not yet been examined. The aim of this study is to determine the impact of visitor
presences on Matschie s tree kangaroo welfare. In this experiment, 10 tree kangaroos will be
examined by testing two treatment groups: no visitor contact and exposure to visitors. Treatment
groups will be tested for 1 day period in a total of 10 study days and 5 days for each treatment group.

This is because while zoos try to raise awareness on conservation programs by allowing visitors to
have a close interaction with animals, this however sometimes comes at the expense of the animals
welfare (Calyton, Fraser, Saunders, 2009).Research has suggested that visitors can affect animal
behaviour and stress physiology even when animals are separated by barriers (Fernandez et al., 2009).
A recent study has indicated that when exposed to visitors, the level of vigilance increased in both
Kangaroo Island kangaroos and Red kangaroos. Furthermore, Kangaroo Island kangaroos would
increase time spent in locomotion and decrease time spent on resting (Sherwen, 2015). In addition,
previous studies have shown that social factors and conditions of confinement have proven to cause
stress for tree kangaroos (Hutchins et al., 1991). As a consequence, this reduces the chances of
reproductive success, thus zoo populations are declining. A more detailed understanding of tree
kangaroo behaviour and stress triggers is needed to advance the reproductive success of this

Hence it is extremely important to manage stakeholders efficiently at every stage of the company s life
cycle. Management of stakeholders needs to be done very effectively as each stakeholder s powers
differ with their importance and their interest in the business. A few stakeholders have the power of
either blocking your business or letting it roll successfully. You business also depends on their interest

The North Africa Conflict
While analyzing the North Africa conflict, a combination of service capabilities would be required to
achieve the desired end state of deterring and if necessary, the defeat of Algerian guerilla aggression to
prevent regional and global destabilization. Taking into account the current military landscape that
exists today, a joint task force (JTF) would be the ideal military response of the United States and
collation partner s while utilizing the regional military assets. Intelligence suggests guerilla forces are
capable of a full scale offensive into Morocco in less than 36 hour notice, bringing the factors of time,
force and space into consideration. The United States Air Force controls and operates numerous
satellites for global positioning, missile warning, communication and meteorological purposes along
with reconnaissance aircraft. Through a combination of satellite imagery and reconnaissance aircraft,
identifying and collecting intelligence on guerilla military targets and movements would be the first
objective in the conflict. Once targets are identified, bombing campaigns could commence from
regional Air force bases in the Area of Operations (AO), softening up guerilla forces in advance of the
next stage of the military engagement, the ground campaign. Air force tankers such as the HC 130,
KC 135 and KC 10 would need to be deployed to offer in flight air refueling for the F 15, F 16, F 22
and A 10 s departing from regional Air force bases. The Air Force also

An Essay On The Movie Riley
The movie is about a young girl named Riley. Riley was very playful as a kid playing with her
imaginary friend, running around the house and making a mess. She is the only child her parents have
and they tried everything to make her happy. She is also the source of happiness for her parents, but
she is too young to know that. Her father loved her so much that he played monkey faces with her all
the time even when she was old.
Riley s family lived in Minnesota, a cold state that was always white during the winter due to snow.
The only sport, Riley enjoyed playing was ice hockey. Her mother always told her to take care not to
hurt herself during a game while her father told her to play hard. Her parents were her biggest loyal
fans. They even ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

long and boring. California was different it was densely populated and the houses there were small.

works. They are five main key players that control Riley s emotions. Joy has been always glowing and
was responsible for making her happy. Sadness was dark and always had a sad face, she was the
opposite of joy and was always sad about everything. Anger always had a bad temper. Disgust was
always picky since she was a kid, she has always refused to eat vegetables. Fear was the last one of
the five who worked in the headquarters.
Riley s first day of school was going good until sadness touched a joyful memory of her playing
hockey until she became emotional and started crying. In her head it was a different world. There were
a lot of memories stared at her head both short term and long term. Most of her memories were
colored yellow meaning it was joyful. Collection of good memories form islands of imagination, there
is one for family, good times that she shared with her parents.

Kevin Hart Essay
For my research, I chose the comedian Kevin Hart. I chose Mr. Hart due to the fact that many of his
standup comedy acts appeal to me, and are relatable to my life. A lot of comedians create humor at the
expense of others, but Kevin Hart tends to keep it centered on his family, and events that have
happened in his life. I can relate to the events that he makes light of, and it makes it the humor more
appealing to me specifically. Both the fact that his home life, and his physical appearance are the basis
of his routines make more sense than some of the other standup comedy acts I have observed. At this
stage, I do not know much about Kevin Harts life, besides what he has included in the sets that I ve
watched. Some of the things that I have learned is that he had a troubled childhood due to his father s
life choices. His father was an addict, and had altercations in bars, which Kevin witnessed and made
jokes to deal with it. He also has two kids, a boy and a girl, which sometimes are brought up in the
standup sets, mostly at the expense of the children. The majority of Kevin s appeal is centered around
his height, which is a commonly referenced joke both by himself, and others, which does not seem to
bother him anymore if he is able to make light of it himself. I think that the beginning of Mr. Hart s
life is what led him to be a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Harts comedy. Creating things for other people to laugh at out of your own life, or other things that
would necessarily be hard to talk about, and social in the aspect that he was more than likely made fun
of growing up with his height and other unchangeable physical aspects, which he has talked about
before. These aspects are likely what formed his unique sense of humor that he uses that led him to the
branch of comedy that he performs. In order to prove my analysis, I will be focusing clips of Kevin

Two Arguments On Scottish Independence

Scotland was held on September 18, 2014 referendum on independence, to determine whether the
Scottish independence from Britain. The independence referendum entered the 100 day countdown
stage, Nicola Sturgeon (Deputy First Minister) and Alistair Darling (Former chancellor of the
exchequer) both had a very convincing speech on this topic. Nicola argues,Scotland s huge wealth and
extraordinary resources mean there is no question Scottish can be independent
(Sturgeon,2014).Darling called on people to say no thanks to independence (Darling,2014).I thought
that Nicola had a stronger speech. They both had prominent points and were persuasive, but I thought
Nicola s speech is easy to understand.
Nicola takes on the position of a person who agrees to Scottish independence,in her speech. She adds
many prominent points in her speech about why she believes that independence promises a better
future for Scottish people. She says that so many of Scottish people do not feel the benefit under
Westminster. She thinks Scotland can be a successful, thriving independent country, because Scotland

greatest opportunity for Scottish people to build a better, more prosperous and fairer country. In terms
of vast wealth, extraordinary resources, rich in human talent, top universities Scottish would be

Advantages Of Multiparticulate Drug Delivery System

Multiparticulate drug delivery systems (MDDS), widely used for oral route of administration, it
consist of multiple number of small discrete units that having different characteristics. It is based on
subunits such as pellets, microspheres, granules, beads, spheroids and minitab. These subunits shows
various advantages as compare to monolithic devices. In MDDS, active pharmaceutical ingredients
are divided into number of subunits, typically consist of thousands of spherical particles having
diameter of about 0.05 mm to 2.00 mm. To administer or to recommend total dose these subunits to be

The drug is mostly released from multiparticulates by following mechanism
1. Erosion Coating with the erodiable polymers to erode gradually with time thereby releasing the
drug contained within particle. The drug release mostly depends on the characteristics of polymer
which shows the erosion and responsible for drug release. It shows zero or first order kinetics.
2. Osmosis Osmotic pressure can built up within the interior of particle to allow water to enter. The
drug is forced out of particle into exterior through coating. The osmotic pressure is responsible for
drug release in which drug passes from higher concentration to lower concentration through semi
permeable membrane.
3. Diffusion On contact with aqueous fluids in Gastro intestinal tract, water diffuses the interior of the
particle. The drug dissolution occurs and drug solution diffuses across the external release coat. The
diffusion principal shows release which depends on concentration and drug. It shows the zero order
kinetics.

Critique of Stanley Milgram’s “Behavioral Study of Obedience”
A Critique of Stanley Milgram s Behavioral Study of Obedience Stanley MIlgram is a Yale University
social psychologist who wrote Behavioral Study of Obedience , an article which granted him many
awards and is now considered a landmark. In this piece, he evaluates the extent to which a participant
is willing to conform to an authority figure who commands him to execute acts that conflict with his
moral beliefs. Milgram discovers that the majority of participants do obey to authority. In this
research, the subjects are misled because they are part of a learning experience that is not about what
they are told. This experiment was appropriate despite this. Throughout the process, subjects are
exposed to various signs that show them ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before Milgram s findings, the fact that people were inclined to obey to authority figures was already
realized. He just confirmed this belief. Milgram followed effective steps by using precise procedures.
He made sure that the experiment reflected features of an actual situation in which a person would
obey to an authority figure: offering compensation (monetary reward in this experiment), being under
pressure (Prods 1 to 4 in this case), and mentioning that the person who obeys can withdraw. These
features can also be seen in a situation where a soldier is commanded to fire, for instance. A soldier
will get a monetary compensation, is under pressure to obey because he chose to be part of the
military, and he knows that he can resign at any time. Milgram created an experiment so precise and
detailed that more than enough evidence was demonstrated. In this experiment, subjects are explained
that this is a learning experiment to ... study the effects of punishment on memory (4). Yet, the real
intention here is to measure the participants compliance towards the experimenter. This controversy is
unethical as subjects are volunteering for a cause that does not exist. They are misled since they are
not exposed to the real purpose of this study. Nevertheless, this experiment was appropriate.
Throughout the process, participants are exposed to various indications about the intensity of the
experiment. If the question about

  • 2. The Migration Of The European Union The current issue I will be covering within this paper will be the ongoing migration of individuals from northern African states, such as Syria and Libya, into Europe and states contained within the European Union as a result of furthering IS advancement in the region. The displacement of these individuals or migrants form their home lands not only causes severe socioeconomic strains on the nations of Syria and Libya on top of the current political conflict, but it also afflicts the resources and politics of the nations these individuals migrate to in order to escape the current conflict. There really is not limit to the amount of actors involved within, what now is a global issue. Relevant actors range from the European Union Commission ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... President of the European Council, Donald Tusk addressed the European Parliament during a March European Council meeting that it would not be possible to apply the same approach used for the Balkans to unstable Libya . The approach being to cut off certain parts of the borders between the sea and other European nations in order to more accurately process migrants to ensure safety and stability for the people not only in the European Union, but for the whole of Europe. Tusk and other European PM s have been under fire by some of international community and some other European nations whilst reaching a deal between the EU and Turkey in response to the sizable amount of refugees crossing the Mediterranean Sea between Turkey and Greece, which has been coined at the most dangerous route, taking countless number of refugee lives. The alternative route include passage through various EU nations, leaving the possibility to lose track of migrants, not only providing false data in terms of logistics of migrants traveling to and from their country of origin, but also contributing to an uneven allocation of resources for the nation where these individuals end up, potentially causing a shortage of assets to appropriately manage the amount of refugees ... • 3. Thousand Splendid Suns A Thousand Splendid Suns is a fifty one chapter fictional writing by Khaled Hosseini. It tells the story of two women who live in Afghanistan, and their lives with an abusive husband. The author uses a diversity of techniques such as foreshadowing and multiple plots. A great example of the use of such techniques is when, in chapter 5, Nana says to Mariam Don t leave me, Mariam jo. Please stay. I ll die if you go. , foreshadowing her own suicide. The novel starts with the story of two completely unrelated women, Mariam and Laila, whose connection to each other will only come up later in the book. This is means the book has multiple plots. The author wrote the novel in the third person omniscient point of view. In part three, the narrator shifts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In chapter 47, moments before the execution, the reader can see how close the women have become, when the narrator says, ...she was leaving the world as a woman who had loved and been loved back. She was leaving it as a friend, a companion, a guardian. Sometimes, quotes can foreshadow future events in the story. When Nana tells Mariam, Like a compass needle that always points north, a man s accusing finger always finds a woman. Always. You, a hint is given as to what awaits for Mariam in her future. The title of the novel is a fragment of a poem which, in chapter 26, Mullah Faizullah recites to Mariam: One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs, and the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her ... While there are a few distinct renditions of the contention, all indicate to demonstrate that it is self conflicting to deny that there exists a biggest conceivable being. In this way, on this general line of contention, it is an essential truth that such a being exists; and this being is the Divine force of conventional Western belief in higher powers. This article clarifies and assesses great and contemporary forms of the ontological contention. The vast majority of the contentions for God s presence depend on no less than one exact commence. • 5. Various religions Essay Throughout the Hindu and Christian religion various rituals are performed by followers. These rituals allow the followers to celebrate in their beliefs. The most popular practice performed in almost every religion is prayer and or meditation. Prayer and meditation allow followers to come together and praise a God or gods. Hinduism has commonly been viewed as a polytheistic religion, one that worships multiple deities: gods and goddesses, while Christianity is a Monotheistic tradition. Hindus believe in the repetitious transmigration of the soul. This is the transfer of one s soul after death into another body. This produces a continuing cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You would love the deity not in the Christian God like sense, but as you would love a friend, parent, or a child, Christians do not practice yoga as a form of prayer or meditation, but rather gather weekly to meet for worship in commemoration of the Lord Jesus resurrection. They rejoice and reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus. Prayer is a form of meditation for Christians because it requires observance and concentration. When we pray to God we are observing his power and concentrate on what it is we wish to reflect on. Christians pray to God to repent on certain acts that are sinful, by asking God for forgiveness one will be saved and given eternal life. Hindus believe for everything you do wrong you will be punished. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, if not in this life, then the next. The yoga discipline allows, through pure acts, thoughts and devotion, one can be reborn at a higher level. Christians, on the other hand do not believe in rebirth, but rather eternal happiness in the afterlife. Our afterlife being heaven or hell. Both religions have very distinct beliefs and are extremely opposite but their idea for prayer and meditation is similar. Both religions use the daily ritual of prayer and or meditation as an act of reflection and a process for reaching the ultimate goal of an ideal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Allusions In Brave New World After the publishing of Aldous Huxley s Brave New World, modern literature has changed forever. It is considered a masterpiece and one of the pillars of the dystopian novel. However, both of those affirmations can be called into question. The former based on a subjective opinion of a reader and the latter through compromising its dystopian nature. Similarly to George Orwell s novels, the main appeal of Brave New World is within the ideas it contains, not within its literary merits. Huxley s talent is essentially composed of his ideas and the attitude he assumes towards the problems he presents. He took full advantage of his endowment in Brave New World Revisited, a non fiction work sequel to Brave New World. The sequel is devoid of a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Aldous Huxley himself seems to be more concerned with the scientific aspect of Brave New World than with literary techniques and qualities. In a later edition of his novel, he expressed his opinion that: One vast and obvious failure of foresight is immediately apparent, Brave New World contains no reference to nuclear fission. Evidently, he pondered the topic of Brave New World over and over and was not afraid to admit his faults. This utterly scientific approach is illustrated by his formulation of the sequel, Brave New World Revisited. Clearly Huxley must have seen Brave New World as more than just a literary fiction novel, if he was so persistant he felt the need to recapitulate all his ideas after almost thirty years and furthermore, abandon the literary fiction. Having said that, it must be acknowledged that if Brave New World would have been written as a non fiction work, a scientific essay for example, it would have never been able to spread to the extent it did as a novel. That is a motive possibly explaining Huxley s choice of genre. But does someone who does not care about science deserve to enjoy the merits of scientific prognosis? Whether such person does or does not deserve it is controvertible to judge, therefore whether the motive was justifying Huxley s decision or not can be disputed. But Brave New World could only profit from being refined for less general audience. One of the most interesting elements in Brave New World is the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Uranium Mining in Australia Essay To what extent should there be limitation on the mining of uranium in Australia ? Uranium has become a big issue as an alternative energy resource in the future due to the shortage of fossil fuel as a primary energy resource in the world. Australia is one of country that has the largest uranium deposits in the globe. So, Australia has important opportunity to make a lot of money from uranium exports to other countries. However, the Australian Government is still debating this issue because of the negative impact of uranium mining and exploration. For these reason, some people believe that uranium mining has more positive impacts on the economy such as, income benefits from uranium exports and an increase a new job opportunities. However, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They also point out that the industry has forty per cent of the world uranium reserves. Based on that reasons, the uranium industry in Australia could make a big profit from export of uranium if the government takes it seriously. Also, they should be good regulation for uranium trading such as local trading and international trading. So, some people think that there should not be limitations on mining of uranium. Another argument against the limitations on uranium mining in Australia is that uranium mining can increase job opportunities to local people in Australia. According to Greenpeace Australia Pacific (2006), the uranium industry could create a large number of job opportunities because this industry needs a lot of employees to support this industry. If the Australian Government expands its uranium mining, it will create potential local jobs and it would be one solution to solve the unemployment problem. So, some people believe that the limitation of uranium mining is not necessary because it can reduce job opportunities in Australia. These economic concerns are important in the uranium mining debate because the Australian Government can make huge profits from that industry and solve the unemployment problem as well. However, there are some important aspects that must be considered such as, uranium as the main material for nuclear weapons, nuclear power is not efficient or effective, and there is harmful radiation from the mining of uranium. At first, I wasn t planning on choosing that book because I m not a diary type of guy until I read it. This kid has a quite interesting life. I really enjoy reading this book. Greg reminds me of myself because we are both teenagers and I understand exactly his feelings as a teenager. I think the author writes the diary to record about his personal life. Also, he writes it for parents to read so they could understand their child s life. Parents and teenagers usually have different thoughts because they were born in different period of time. • 10. Public Schools Should Not Be The Place For Religious... One of the many foundations of the United States as a nation was religion. When people fled their homes in search of a new place, one of the many reasons was due to religious freedom. Almost immediately conflicts arose between religions, and their belief systems. No problems seem to arise with teaching religion to children in school until the 1900 s. That is when the courts decided religious instructions in public schools would be deemed unconstitutional. Court cases started around the country with people fighting against religious instruction in public schools, many accusing teachers of putting their beliefs in their teachings. The young, and impressionable minds of children should not be exposed to another persons religious beliefs because they can easily be swayed in a certain direction. This is why religious practices, such as prayer, and the teachings of creationism should not be allowed in public schools. Public schools should not be the place for religious practices for many reasons. Firstly, there a several different ways in which having those practices in public schools goes against the Constitution, and the Establishment Clause, which does not allow public schools to endorse any religion. Secondly, as children are minors in age, so are their minds. Children can easily be swayed in a certain direction if they witness an authority figure expressing a certain belief. • 12. How Principals Should Apply Instructional Leadership... In a well researched and scholarly book, Doctors Joesph and Jo Blase accomplish two tasks: outlining how principals should apply instructional leadership skills while performing their jobs, and describing how principals should maintain positive relationships with their teachers while still effectively leading. As well published, credentialed authors in the field of educational leadership, the both of the Blases serve as credible sources on the topic. To accomplish their desired tasks, the authors divide the book into brief chapters that each explain either an attribute of instructional leadership or a method for maintaining positive principal teacher relations. According to the authors themselves, the book s shows what successful instructional leaders do to enhance teaching and learning and the effects that their behaviors have on teachers performance and well being (xiii). Through the authors careful organization of research, use of primary sources, and use of secondary sources, the book accomplishes this goal. To organize their research, the Blases first divide their information into the broad categories of Part I: The Art and Science of Instructional Leadership and Part II: How Supervisor s Behaviors Positive and Negative Affect Teachers. By first dividing their information into these two broad categories, the authors effectively organize their research. Susan Cain s Suitcase Of Introversion Susan Cain and her suitcase of introversion Susan Cain, a well known and appreciated writer from America in the field of psychology, recently held a speech on one of the famous TED talks and entirely captured me by trying to give the audience an understanding of introversion. She has a scientific and above very empathic approach to the topic as she claims to be an introvert herself which I find fascinating and admiring as well. Explain the paradox that ozone is considered a health hazard, yet is essential to life on Earth. Ozone is both a health hazard and vital for life on Earth because if the gas enters the lungs, or comes in contact with any living tissue, it can result in damage in that particular tissue and illness. However, ozone is important as it shields life on Earth from the sun s dangerous rays through the form of an ozone layer, which is located 15 30km above the Earth s surface. 3. Explain, using the chemical equations, how ozone forms in the stratosphere. Ozone is formed in the stratosphere through the ozone oxygen cycle . This is where UV light hits a molecule of oxygen gas; breaks it apart and forms two separate oxygen atoms. O₂(g) + UV light → 2O(g) When this oxygen atom meets oxygen gas, ozone gas is created. When Mr. Travers started to work for Tiffany and Co. back in 1998, he had to be familiarized with the IBM AS/400, which is a midrange computer that is now in the IBM Iseries. On the IBM AS/400 he worked with tools and languages such as RPG, CL, and qm query, which are used to bundle a bunch of queries that are in SQL. He also used operating system commands and RPG programs on the AS/400 to be able to put all the objects in a CL. He has also worked with SQL Server, C# and .NET programming for front end development and business applications. Since Mr. Travers works on different projects and different parts of the technical aspect of Tiffany and Co. , his typical workday fluctuates in what kind of work he does and how much of a workload there is. Recently, as far as when the interview was taken, he and his team were at the end of development on a large project that has been in the works for about two years. They were going to go live with it the week after the interview took place. What this meant for Mr. Travers to do during that time was to go through the project and to make sure that there are no bugs in the programming and to get every part set up and ready for execution before the deadline. Once deadline arrives, he will start up the project and hook it up to communicate with their pre existing systems via a service bus. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 16. Technolgy and American Societies Today Technology has taken an overwhelming presence within American societies today. Careers, education, volunteering, advertising and now even fundraising can be done solely from one s computer. With this relatively new trend, companies must take advantage of the time clients spend online to further their own organizations. There are three simple techniques that companies should utilize and implement to profit from the new technological era. The process of affiliate marketing is extremely important for publicity and fundraising. This is when an organization directs traffic from its own website to a different organization s website in order to promote a product, good or service of that organization s with the promise of receiving a percentage of the proceeds in return. Companies can profit significantly from this process if used correctly and partnered with the right organizations. Many popular companies participate in affiliate marketing, such as Amazon, local grocery stores, sporting goods stores, etc. It does not cost anything to establish an affiliate marketing relationship with a company, but can have exponential rewards. The concept of online donating and memberships is an excellent way companies can benefit from the Web. Asking face to face for money can make both the asker and the potential giver uncomfortable, and with the wrong atmosphere laid, it can cost an organization a substantial donation. The opportunity to donate online provides clients with a private, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 17. Barack Obama s The Audacity Of Hope On July 27, 2004, Barack Obama arguably made his greatest speech, The Audacity of Hope , at the Democratic National Convention Keynote Address. All the way through his piece, Obama focuses on connecting himself to Americans. However, Barack Obama was a US Senate candidate for the United States president, and in making this speech, uses this connection to raise his reputation rather than to simply amuse the audience. Throughout The Audacity of Hope speech, Barack Obama implements three main devices to raise his political popularity: abstract language, repetition, and structure. Part of The Audacity of Hope is Obama s use of abstract words, which help to associate the piece to everyone s individual view of these words. In other words, since abstract words have no explicit definitions, the words fit to the person who defines them. Obama states, John Kerry believes in the Constitutional freedoms that have made our country the envy of the world, and he will never sacrifice our basic liberties, nor use faith as a wedge to divide us. In this sentence, Obama uses the words freedoms , sacrifice , liberties , and faith to describe John Kerry and what he does. By using these abstract words, Obama creates a perfect American image, one that stands for everything America stands for. This is powerful. By comparing a person to a highly symbolic figure, such as the United States, Obama invokes high emotions among the audience, or the pathos of the piece, which he then puts onto ... Several plans for Reconstruction were developed, but for these [then] divided states, adversity and unforeseen circumstances would test the resolve of our government and its constituency. The success and failures of each plan are outlined to reveal how the country struggled to re united during this violate time. The assertion being Reconstruction was both a success in that it passed legislation for Civil Rights and re united the Union, but failed to secure those rights and prosperity of former slaves. The plans presented were similar in that they required an oath sworn to the United States upholding the Constitution, admitting secession was wrong and recognizing the abolishment of slavery. These plans differed in the severity of their implementation as well as who is permitted to take the oath to rejoin the Union. These hormones help to regulate reproduction, sleep, metabolism, cell growth, and development. In the endocrine system, there are different glands that each excrete different hormones. All of these glands are ductless, and secrete their hormones straight into the blood stream.
