This circuit is designed to indicate the level of water in a tank. As the water level rises, more LEDs will light up to show the increasing level. When the maximum level is reached, a buzzer will sound as an alarm. The circuit uses a transistor, resistors, LEDs, and a bridge rectifier to convert AC power to DC and power the LEDs accordingly based on the water level connecting to different points in the circuit. This simple water level indicator circuit has various applications for monitoring water levels in tanks, reservoirs, and other containers.
It is a simple innovative idea which demonstrates how to design a simple circuit which can act as a WATER LEVEL INDICATOR. It is a general idea and can be even modified to build an AUTOMATIC ON/OFF CIRCUIT as the water starts overflowing by implementing a simple JK-flip-flop in the circuit.

Being electronics enthusiastic made a simple and handy circuit which will detect the water level and will raise an alarm upon getting the water tank full or a preset level.
This simple transistor based water level indicator circuit is very useful to indicate the water levels in a tank. Whenever tank gets filled, we get alerts on particular levels. Here we have created levels by alarms & we have added LEDs to indicate the level of water and one buzzer to indicate full level. When tanks gets filled completely we get beep sound from buzzer. So now we do not have to worry about overflow and water out anymore.
