• Maintaining relationships with KOLs internationally, nationally, and regionally to increase
scientific and clinical knowledge of products and clinical pipeline.
• Providing essential scientific information about therapeutic products, including drugs and
medical devices to other healthcare leaders.
• Engaging and lead interactions with national key opinion leaders.
• Providing fair, balanced, objective, scientific information and product education to key
opinion leaders and other health professionals in support of the company's Obesity
&Diabetes franchise.
• Evaluating expert Speakers for use in CME and Advisory Board Settings.
• Responsible for all Medical and Marketing Prelaunch Activities for Company new Era
&Launch.
Novo Nordisk Gulf (Dubai– United Arab of Emirates): Institution Executive, April 2013 till April
2016.
• Ensure product inclusion in the formulary and introduction of new products in institutions
under responsibility.
• Ensure orders execution through the local agents.
• Arrangement and validation for NN tender contracts including price quotation and filing
data on system (Oracle SYS) with different authorities; ex.DHA.
• Build customer lists for each institution (physicians, purchasers, and pharmacists).
• Prepare account plans for all institutions to ensure optimal institution coverage and resource
allocation, achieve maximum return on investment and facilitate bottom up forecast of sales
targets and promotional budget.
• Perform presentations on therapy areas and NN products to current and prospective
customers.
• Prepare and submit reports to RSM within deadlines.
• Update colleagues and managers of competitor activities and other market information.
Algorithm (Dubai-UAE): Senior Medical Representative 2012-March 2013
• Promote company Products to the HCP in all Dubai Major Accounts.
• Prepare account plans for all institutions to ensure optimal institution coverage
and resource allocation, achieve maximum return on investment and facilitate
bottom up forecast of sales targets and promotional budget.
• Work with team managers to plan how to approach contacts and creating
effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.
Sanofi-Aventis Egypt (Cairo– Egypt), Senior Medical Representative 2007-2011
• Promote Diabetes, CVS Products to the HCP in the private, Governmental sector.
• Perform RTDs for practice staff, hospital doctors and street clinics.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff.
• Plan work schedules in weekly and monthly timetables.
• Keep up with the latest clinical data provided by the company; interpreting,
presenting and discussing this data with HCP during presentations.
