Anthropology is the study of human beings and their ancestors through time in relation to physical character, environmental and social relations, and culture. It seeks to describe human cultures, classify cultural phenomena, and understand the origins and changes of human cultures through various methods like observation, interviews and analysis of artifacts. Both sociology and anthropology aim to scientifically study different aspects of human social life and use empirical methods to gather and analyze data.
