Basic Visual Merchandising
Vertical Merchandising

It has been proven that every one of us has different focal point. Not all of us see things at the same focal point, while some of us see things at a higher point,
others see 1,2 or even 3 point higher or lower.

Merchandise must therefore always be presented vertically from the top shelves to the bottom shelves. This is to allow the customer to immediately be able to
identify the different styles or design within the 4 seconds window of opportunity.

Nesting Table

Nesting tables are always located at areas that have been known to have the highest shoppers’(i.e At the entrance of the store or department.)
So what we put on the nesting table will naturally be seen by a large group of people. We must therefore always remember to plan & monitor how
we merchandise the nesting table. Housekeeping of the nesting table must be a top priority.

Here is how we can showcase our latest & the best on the nesting table using arrival of the season.

                                                                                                     Product information/seasonal
