We built a video infrastructure for research network, with main emphasis on education. Our experience is that moving pictures takes more than bandwidth, we also needed to engage the user community and remove technical obstacles. There is a need for higher definition video as well as simple off-the-self components when building and analyzing the video network for learning. This presentation goes through lessons learned, based on the eCampus program in Norway, and recommends further work.
