This document summarizes a project that aimed to improve feedback and involve students in the marking process using GradeMark. The project trialled developing constructive marking criteria, engaging students with the criteria before assignments, and providing feedback linked to criteria using GradeMark. Students provided feedback that GradeMark made feedback easier to access and more positive and detailed. Staff found benefits like not needing to print/scan, linked originality checks, and a library of comments. The project concluded that benefits included improved student perceptions of fairness and increased feedback detail for both students and staff.
