This document discusses a research project that uses game-enhanced learning (GEL) to increase student engagement in natural science courses. It presents several digital and non-digital games developed by Drs. Graham and Marsham including Pipette Party, Sense of Scale, and Shore Thing. Based on initial student feedback, the games were well received and more effective than traditional lectures. The researchers plan to continue developing additional games, recruit more student interns, and refine existing games in the next year.
