The Olav Thon Group implemented a new intranet portal with the help of Logica Norway to improve efficiency and communication among its 6,000 employees. User research including questionnaires and interviews identified top tasks like finding coworkers and information. An iterative design process tested prototypes to prioritize relevant content in a task-oriented way. While 3,500 employees now use the portal regularly, continued improvements in content, feedback features, and mobile access aim to increase user satisfaction further. User experience design was important to create a system that meets employees' needs and supports the company's business goals.
