include :Urinary tract infection, Kidney
infection and urethra injuries.

light to examined the interior of the urinary
bladder and the ureter .It is also called
Lithoscope and commonly used when there is

ureter. It can lead to infection, bladder injuries
and other side effects when not properly used.

compared to men.

diagnostic X- ray in which dye is inserted
through the urethra to the outline of the
bladder, ureters, and renal pelvis.
 Why RP test? This test is usually used to
diagnose kidney stones and tumors, or to see
them more clearly to asses what treatments
needs to be offered to resolve tumor and
stones.
 Possible Complications: Exposure to radiation,
Allergic reaction, and urinary tract infection.

blood test to measure kidney function by level
of nitrogenous waste(urea) that is in blood . It
can also be used to measure renal function.

 To check if kidney is working properly.
 To assess the extent of damage to kidney.
 To see if treatment is working.
