2. Camerawork First of all for camerawork,camerawork is the use of camera and
its movements to convey some particular messages at different
times to the audience and to show different situations.There is a
use of a zoom shot at the cup first to show the importance of the
cup as it was the focus of the character in the clip aswell then the
same camera tilts up to show the character with a medium shot
and how she interacts with the cup as she throws the liquid in
it.As the character moves the camera is panned with and tilted
downwards and upwards slowly after intervals to show that how
does the broken cup is affecting the clip as it is leaking the
beverage in it. There was a frequent use of close shots to show
the expressions of the characters according to the events that
were happening with her. Then there was use of a establishing
shot near the beginning of the clip to show that where were all
the events gonna happen.

3. Camera work
There was a use of low angle shots to show authority to the subject or the characters shown with a low
angle shot like when the boy took out the knife from the lady’s body here the boy was shown with a low
angle shot as he was holding the knife in his hand and the reason for this shot right now is that here the
knife was a really powerful thing as it killed the lady finally so when the boy hold it he is also shown as
powerful. Besides this there is a good use of high angle shots at places to show the =subject of the shot
as weak and hopeless which throughout this clip is the lady(ms lewton) as she can't do anything to stop
things to happen to her leading to her death.

5. Editing
Editing is the cutting of the scenes with time that editors do after the production stage. For me the producers
have used their editors well in this product,First of all there is a good use of slow cuts in the beginning of the clip
to show the change in the subject from a cup to the lady.The slow cuts are used well in the beginning as there
the story is going slow as well but as the story gets faster and the events with the lady start to take place the cuts
get faster to create a pace. There is a transition used from the kitchen to the street to create a link between the
characters and besides this the transition is done with help of a cutaway editing.Then there is a good use of
parallel editing to show the two different things happening at the same time like the time when they used it to
show the boy on the street.There were special effects used to emphasis more on some effects like it was used
for a spark in the computer,then in the kitchen special effects were used to emphasisexaggerate the fire
explosions.

6. Mise - en -
scene
First of all I will talk about the characters, the selection of the characters
for this clip was perfect as it is an old stereotype that women are weak
compared to men that's why they showed that how by her silliness the
woman dies but the man doesn't die as he was clever and besides that
the men tries to help the women aswell but also ends up finishing her up
properly. For the setting, this clip is basically taken inside a house with all
the props and decoration present which affect the lady afterwards the
computer explodes everything in the house(all the props) are shown for
different meanings and purposes for example the knife to finish the lady
up,the oven and the computer to burst out and the alcohol drink to lit the
fire up and spread throughout the house.The lighting throughout the
scene is really normal but i think that it is high key lighting as it's not
someone evil in the whole clip and another reason for having a high key
lighting is that it is setted in a house as usually houses have most of the
lights in them turned on and there can be another reason that it can used
there to keep a suspense that the nothing bad will happen but still
suddenly the computer explodes breaking the suspense.

7. Mise - en - scene The costumes of the character were used as normal
informal clothes which usually people wear at home
but the colour of their clothes had some meanings
especially for the lady she was wearing a brown t
shirt which tells that she had some kind of negative
role due to wearing a dark colour t shirt.For the boy
he was wearing a light brown /off white coat on a
brown coat which gives an idea that he had darkness
but his darkness was overwhelmed by the light in
him.Fake blood is used to show that the lady was hurt
really badly after all the explosions and piece of glass
in her neck.

8. Sound In media sound is classified as diegetic(sound from the products world) and
non diegetic sound(sound not from the products world but edited on) First
of all in the beginning there is a liquid pouring sound when the lady pours in
some liquid in the cup this is done to create a suspense in the scene and to
attract the audience's attention towards the cup,it is an example of diegetic
sound used.Another one is that the sound of spark from the computer used
but this one is more of a non diegetic sound .There is a sudden strong
buildup in sound telling the audience that somethings gonna happen,music
is used to emphasis that what's happening in the scenes and it is used to
show the feelings of the characters in the clip.The sound of explosions from
the computer,the oven and the house were really good as it makes the
audience feel as if they are there seeing it by themselves.In the whole clip
there was not much dialogues but yeah in the beginning the lady screamed
after seeing something and then talked to herself to calm herself down this
gives an idea to the audience that something bad had happened with the
lady in the past which still still has an effect on her and something might
happen to her in the future.
