This document discusses the principle and implementation of a PWM rectifier for achieving unity power factor control, detailing the use of a double closed-loop PI control strategy. The study highlights simulation and experimental results that validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, showcasing the rectifier's ability to maintain high efficiency and low harmonic distortion across varying load conditions.
