This document outlines David Hall's process for creating a 3D game level set on a small island using the Unity game engine. The level aims to allow players to explore scenic views and a forest while hunting for treasure. David took inspiration from Assassin's Creed Black Flag, seeking to recreate the Caribbean feel. He added details like a shipwreck and smuggler's cave filled with supplies. Through blocking, texturing, sound effects and lighting, David brought the island level to life for players to freely imagine stories within.
