poor family, and I think shows how the social class works in the story. When I had first started
reading the book I thought Scout was a boy, since she was always hanging out with her brother
and Dill. The way that she acts is very different than how girls are supposed to act and I really
appreciate the impartial views of the author, and hope the views are continued through the story. I
really like that Scout is a tough girl, who isn t afraid to do all the things her brother and other boys
do.
While Scout is a smart girl, I don t feel that a first grader can be as smart as the author is
portraying, I really think that the book is told from a much older Scout who is looking back on
the events during her childhood, which it had shown at the beginning of the story as she was

Biographical and autobiographical information on Atget in his lifetime is scarce to be found
however we do know a small amount. He was born into a working class family, in Libourne France
in the winter of 1857. Libourne lays near Bordeaux, an intrinsically prerevolutionary feeling city,
whose architecture and sights may have been an underlying attraction to his Old Paris
documentation. Orphaned at the young age of five years old, Atget came to be raised by his
grandparents until he was able to work and live on his own. He is speculated to have spent some
time at sea during the early 1870s, however inconclusive evidence may be, he may have worked
as a cabin boy. During this time he developed an inclination to act, and eventually gained entry to
the Conservatoire D art Dramatique in Paris in 1879. Unfortunately his obligation to server time in
the military prevented him from finishing his studies at the conservatory. After briefly managing a
humorist magazine to no financial or positional avail, Atget pursued a career as an itinerant actor.
His acting escapades turned sour, unremarkable, and were short lived. He quit acting for good in
1887, but his passion for it was never lost, and between 1904 and 1913, Atget lectured about theater

In modern times, zombies saturate popular culture and have become a mainstay in the cinematic
world. Many people view zombies as a purely fictional creation with little purpose beyond merely
providing entertainment for the duration of the movie. However, this view of zombies misses
their true original purpose, a purpose which they still serve today. Zombies were not created as
arbitrary fictional characters, but rather as monsters with meaning (Blumberg). Zombies serve
as an outlet for people to process their biggest fears in the world around them. Zombies and the
horror genre have become a modern cinematic expression of people s deepest fears, fears that
evolve over time as people change. The general concept of zombies as we know them today

of the war and the pain inflicted upon the French people. To the modern viewer however, the view
of zombies in this film would appear to be strange and very different monsters from what they are

The toadstool wood describes a woodland at twilight. Everything is quiet and dark. Reeves
describes the woods as if it is hoary and inactive, I know this because in the poem he says mouldy

The narrator knows the owner of the woods and knows where he lives but then he says, he will
not see me stopping here . Why will the owner of the woods not see the narrator stopping by?
Then the narrator says my little horse must think it queer, to stop without a farmhouse near , so
