2. Federalist Party Viewpoints
Throughout the duration of the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, America s citizens became
separated in their political views. Citizens who preferred constraint upon the powers of the state along
with a strong central government represented the Federalist Party. Framing the basis of the
government and economy, Federalists enhanced the prevalence of foreign policies while shaping the
national judicial system. This essay will provide a comprehensive, detailed synopsis of the political
perspectives and viewpoints of the members of the Federalist Party. Using primary sources and
content analysis, this essay will discuss what the Federalist Party believed about the role of the
government and the reasoning behind why they adopted their views. The Federalist Party supporters

Furthermore, the stability of the new national/federal government was dependent on creation of a
particular distance from the direct voice of the citizens (McDonald 1905, p. 28). The moment they
became elected into office, legislators were to be free from any popular pressure. Members of the
Federalist Party also believed that the government was safest when controlled by peop¬¬le know as
independent, which typically implied individuals of wealth as well as social standing. In the 1780s,
members of the Federalist Party believed that state governments posed a threat to the republican
government, given that they were indebted to voters who made adjustments in officials and demanded
that the government serve local, narrow interests (History 2012, p. 3). The Federalists, in any number

3. Duct Pressure Testing Essay
Duct Pressure Testing in Martinsburg, WV, and the Surrounding Areas If you have never heard of duct
pressure testing, you re not alone. Many homeowners are unaware of this practice and the important
role it serves in keeping your air ducts functional. This is a diagnostic procedure to measure the air
tightness of the air ducts in your home. It can be done in a home that is already inhabited, as well as in
a newly built structure. If you are unsure as to whether the ducts in your home should be pressure
tested, consult TI Dawson Heating AC. We provide duct pressure testing to residents in the
Martinsburg, WV area. Why Duct Pressure Testing Is Necessary Should you have pressure testing
done on your ductwork? Only an expert should help you make that decision. If you suspect that your
ducts are leaking, then testing them is generally a good idea. Duct leaks in your home can make it
unhealthy and uncomfortable. If the return ducts are leaky, they can draw pollutants into the home
from a variety of places, such as your basement, attic, garage, or crawl space. If the supply ducts were
not installed properly, they could cause back drafting in fireplaces and wood stoves. Back drafting is
dangerous, and it can also occur in water heaters and naturally vented oil and gas furnaces. Leaking ...

basement could contain carbon monoxide, mold, mildew, dust, and fumes from chemicals and all of
these things might make their way into your home through leaky ducts. You could also inhale

Cultural Considerations Due to the diversity it is becoming more difficult for law enforcement to

Multicultural is related to several cultures in society, and in many cultures in some societies
educational theory encourages interest instead of mainstream culture. It is very important that law
enforcement understand cultural diversity. It is questionable if Sir Robert Peel, developer of the nine

Díaz, afraid of losing his presidency, rigged the election and had Madero arrested. After his release, he
fled to the United States and planned a revolt for November 20th, 1910. While this revolt did fail, it
inspired many people who were tired of being dictated to join in a revolution. Banding Together
Soon after this failed revolt, groups began to form in hopes to successfully remove Diaz. In Northern
Mexico, Francisco Villa returned and gathered an army of Mexican cowboys. Another army was led
by a peasant unsatisfied with the government with the name of Pascual Orozco. One of the bigger
groups consisted of Emiliano Zapata and they were called the Zapatistas. This force grew to include
over 5,000 men. In 1911 these groups worked together to overrun Díaz. Zapata seized the town of
Cuautla, and afterwards cut off the town from Mexico City. Díaz started to realize what was
happening and fled to Europe. This victory would start of a new conflict beginning.
The New Conflict
Soon after the victory Francisco Madero was declared as the new president. Madero tried to please
everybody which led to nothing being done. Nobody liked the lack of progress and people once again
started forming revolutionary groups. Victoriano Huerta, the leader of the conservative federal army,
and a faction of people led by Díaz s nephew Felix Díaz fought for ten days in Mexico City. This

Edgar Allan Poe uses symbolism, conflict, and setting to construct the effect of insanity in the narrator
of The Tell Tale Heart. To begin with, Poe uses imagery to help demonstrate symbolism; as he states,
The disease had sharpened my senses not destroyed not dulled them, it tells the reader that most of the
information was transmitted by his senses. For instance, on page 92 the narrator describes how the old
man s eye resembled of a vulture through sight and this creates a situation where the reader shifts into
the narrator s shoes. Through the mind of the narrator shows how the eye triggers a negative feeling

9. Math And Anatomy And Physiology Courses
The sheer amount of terminology and conceptual knowledge required for anatomy and physiology can
be overwhelming for students. Educational games are one approach to reinforce concepts. In this
activity, students work in teams to review anatomy and physiology concepts by creating arrays of
descriptive tiles to define a term. Once guessed, students use their spatial knowledge to locate the
structure or process within the body. The game challenges students to think about course vocabulary in
a different way and to pool their knowledge to get their classmates to guess the words. Pre /post test
data reveal that students achieve statistically significant learning gains after playing the game, and a
survey of student perceptions demonstrates that the game is helpful for learning vocabulary as well as
fun to play. The game is easily adaptable for a variety of courses.
Introduction
Anatomy and Physiology courses are dense with terminology. Students struggle learning the
vocabulary in addition to linking structure and function, explaining concepts, and making broader
connections. To help facilitate understanding, instructors often turn to classroom activities that
promote active learning. (Michael 2006, Lujan 2006, Jensen 2015)
Active learning strategies are diverse, but most focus on asking students to reflect on what they know
and apply it through an activity. The rise of flipped and active learning classrooms has resulted in the
development of a vast collection of tools to

Racial Profiling The Amin brothers, Ahmad and Hassan, were normal young adults like you and I.
They lived in Pakistan for only a short period of their lives and moved to the US at a young age. Their
mother, Tahira Manzur had high hopes that they will become permanent, working, residents of the US.
Unfortunately, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, or INS for short, had suspicions that the
young men had correlations to a 9/11 terrorist attack. Hassan was arrested and stayed at Yuba county
jail overnight until a 4,000$ bail freed him and his younger brother ,Ahamad, missed school every
wednesday and had to check in with the INS Offices. In the process, they were in the fight against
being deported for 5 tiring years along with rigorous court dates all because of assumptions to
terrorism. (Racial Profiling since 9/11). Part of their young lives was striped from them. Racial
profiling can and has had a detrimental effect on many lives like the Amin brothers. What does the
INS do? Their main job is to regulate immigrants who come into the country and if their transmission
is legal. Racial profiling is used, mainly in law enforcement, to target people based off of stereotypes
of their race, ethnicity, religion, or origin if they are suspected to be part of a criminal action. It has
been around since the 1800 s but a recent event also revealed it was used as well when Japanese
immigrants wanted to move to the US but were denied access because of distrust from the result

11. Computers Are Capable Of Amazing Things Essay
Mainframes and supercomputers are incredible pieces of technology that are capable of amazing
things. A mainframe is capable of handling a large quantity of data in a short period of time while a
supercomputer is capable of solving complex scientific calculations. Both the mainframes and the
supercomputers have a lot to offer and they are capable of great things.
A supercomputer can perform some incredible functions. Scientific research and simulation are two of
the great functions, which interconnect with each other, for which supercomputers are used. It is
normal to hear talk or read about supercomputers as state of the art machines, giants capable of
developing tasks that would otherwise be impossible. When a new model that exceeds in power to the
rest of the existent publishes figures of its performance, the tens of thousands of processors that it
contains or the hundreds of thousands of cores that form it stand out. All this disproportionate
hardware has a purpose.
Currently, a supercomputer is tens of thousands of times faster than an average desktop computer.
Parallel processing of information achieves impressive speeds, allowing a computing power needed to
address some of today s biggest scientific doubts and problems. Actually they are machines formed by
the same components that we find in a computer, however, these have been integrated in such a way
that they can work in coordination and at the same time. Today, the world s fastest supercomputer is

12. How Well Do You Think The Governance System Of Jpmorgan...
Strategic Management Case Study Assignment Question 1. How well do you think the governance
system of JPMorgan Chase is working in protecting shareholder interests? Corporate governance is a
set of actions used to handle the relationship between stakeholders by determining and controlling the
strategic direction and performance of the organization. Corporate governance major concern is
making sure that the strategic decisions are effective and that it paves the way towards strategic
competitiveness. (Hitt, Ireland, Hoskisson, 2017, p. 310). In today s corporation, the primary objective
of corporate governance is to align top level manager s and stakeholders interest. That is why
corporate governance is involved when there is a conflict of interest between with the owners,
managers, and members of the board of directors (Hitt, Ireland, Hoskisson, 2017, p. 310 311). There
are three internal and one external governance mechanisms used for owners to govern managers to
ensure they comply with their responsibility to satisfy stakeholders and shareholder s needs. First,
ownership concentration is stated as the number of large block shareholders and the total percentage
of the shares they own (Hitt, Ireland, Hoskisson, 2017, p. 317). Second, the board of directors which

What are honeybees? Honeybees are social hairy creatures that are a member of the apidae family and
are oval shaped. They measure around 15 mm in length and the majority of their bodies is black with
yellow or brown stripes. The bright stripes serve as a warning to their predators that indicates that they

14. Symbolism In John Steinbeck s Of Mice And Men
The Setting of a Dream In the story, Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck, the setting is used as
symbolism and portrays the differences between the natural world and life on the ranch. Many
particular phrases and objects foreshadow important events throughout the novel. Using imagery,
Steinbeck demonstrates the contrast between the world on the ranch and natural world. The nature of
the forest, river, and certain setting descriptions creates a deeper meaning that relates to many of the
themes in the story. To begin, the river is used to symbolize the dreams and goals of humanity. The
river separates two worlds from touching: On one side, there are beautiful rolling hills and strong

an ash pile made by many fires (1 2). The unfortunate mark of humanity is left on the tree. On the
other hand, the invitation extended by the trees is accepted by travelers who long to accomplish their
dream. In the end, Lennie returns to the river when the light is turning dark. The dreams can no longer

15. Reflective Essay On Culture
According to Sellnow et al., culture is the system of shared values, beliefs, attitudes, and norms that
guide what is considered appropriate among identifiable group of people (44). Culture involves why
we believe in certain things and why we act certain ways. There are many different kinds of cultures
that an individual may have. There are even groups that can be formed called co cultures that derive
from these bigger cultures. Co culture is a group comprised of a smaller number of people who hold
common values, beliefs, attitudes, and customs that differ from those of the dominant culture (Sellnow
et al. 45). For the interview I conducted, I chose someone who had a different culture than I do. My
interviewee was from Costa Rica, and comes from a Spanish culture. I was born in Ohio, and come
from a one hundred percent American culture. The first difference in our cultures that I wanted to
identify were the foods that we eat for our meals. The second difference involved some of the things
that are different in our cultures, like how we greet people or the ways we celebrate. One could even
take this further into calling them norms which are expectations for the way group members are to
behave (Sellnow et al., 177). Lastly, I asked questions about the obvious difference in our cultures,
which would be the different languages that we speak. The first question I asked my interviewee was

16. Similarities And Differences Between Starbucks And Walmart
Every business has its own business strategy which leads the company towards success and
accomplishment. (Stankeviciute et al., 2012, p. 1200). The following analysis will examine the
similarities and differences between Starbucks and Walmart in regards to people, profit, and planet.
People
Legal Compliance. Determining the relationship between a company and people can be evaluated in
several ways. Legal compliance issues not only provide powerful insight into an organization s ethical
business practices, but also how these engagements affect people within the company. In Chou vs.
Starbucks, it was determined that Starbucks misclassified shift supervisors as nonexempt customer
service employees in violation of California law enabling supervising employees to share in tip pools
with non management baristas. (Brody et al., 2008). Here, a significant amount of employees were
prevented from receiving fair compensation in this tip sharing model. Many employees are reliant
upon tips as part of their compensation and allowing managers with higher pay rates to also share tips
diminishes the ability of baristas to earn a proper wage. Starbucks has also struggled to comply with
tax codes as seen through its failure to pay the appropriate amount of taxes owed based on profits over
a fourteen year period. (Brody et al., 2008; Shaheen, 2012). Not only did Starbucks consciously
engaged in tax avoidance, but also did so consistently for over a decade. Tax dollars are used to

17. Stainless Steel Lab Report Discussion
Analysis The observations during this experiment mean several things. The bubbles around the
materials in the beginning of each trial show that there is a reaction starting to happen. The bubbles
around the stainless steel can mean that, while there was no measurable change in the mass, it is
possible some of the stainless steel was corroded. This prediction was confirmed in the second trial
when the stainless steel did have a measurable change in mass. The change in color in the water of the
steel shows that a solid precipitate was created. There was also evidence of a precipitate in the flakes
around the steel. Another piece of evidence showing that precipitate formed was the cloudiness of the
liquid around the iron. The reason that the vinegar smell dissipated from the iron and mild steel is
because all of the acetic acid in the vinegar was used up creating what would have been just water if a
precipitate had not formed. The mode of each trial varies for each metal, and each one shows
something different. The modes for Iron in trial one are 0.3% and 0.4%. These show that they

copper to make the tanks under gas stations. For further experimentation one could investigate the
discrepancy in the mild steel between trials 1 and 2. One could also investigate the effect of oxidation

18. The Use Of Personal And Interpersonal Space
In order for a counselor to be effective in working with a wide range of clients, they must be effective
communicators. Communication involves not only verbal communication but also nonverbal.
Nonverbal communication can often send a stronger message then the actual words spoken. It s
important for counselors to remember that each culture and person for that matter, may have their own
interpretation of nonverbal communication. Counselors should keep in mind that communication rules
and behaviors are not universal. Counselors who assume communication rules are universal, risk
causing unintentional harm to their clients(Sue Sue,2013).
Proxemics, refers to the use of personal and interpersonal space (Sue Sue, 2013, p.214). The amount
of space a person has between them and another communicates certain messages. This is another area
that counselors want to be cautious about making assumptions. There are no universal rules when it
comes to proxemics. For example, in the United States, people get very uncomfortable when
individuals are to close to their personal space. The exception to this rule, is when the persons are
involved in some kind of intimate retaliation (2013). However in Latin cultures it is very common to
stand close to people, especially when they are talking (2013).

Finally, I want to learn about a famous person who was born in Sweden. Those are some of the thing I

Vicious Reptile terrorises school
As unusual as it seems, dinosaurs are back, and are back for good. Disaster has struck Brisbane once
again. Investigated by Maya Cumming.
Dinosaurs are reoccurring in Brisbane
Have you ever wondered how the world would be like if dinosaurs came back to life? Or how people
would react? Well, early Monday morning on May 31st 2017, a Tyrannosaurs Rex changed people s
lives by killing 33 innocent people including young school children.
The police claimed responsibility after the dreadful incident at Blossom Hill High School (BHHS).
This is by far the worst terrorist attack Brisbane has experienced.
There were 50 taken to hospital and 55 others treated at the scene.
The traumatised witnesses have stated that the vicious reptile has torn down the entire school, leaving
over millions of pieces scattered across school grounds.
Classrooms left ripped apart and school buses been squashed to the ground.
Some school students at the incident ran for their lives, while others were shocked and whipped out
their phones to record the outrageous event. Tyrannosaurs Rex large, vicious reptile hovered over the
school for over one hour, taking down everything in its sight.
The school yard, which was usually bursting out with happiness and laughter, was now as still as the
night sky.
The unforgettable incident occurred at 10:23 am, when all you could hear were the sounds of
buildings crashing down and screaming
A few minutes later everything was wiped out completely. After the dinosaur roamed around the
school, the police captured the dinosaur for further examination.
Surprisingly, some survived after the awful episode. Andrew Smith, was a survivor who captured this
image of the dinosaur. He and 3 other staff members of (BHHS) survived and witnessed the whole
attack.

the medical profession moving away from current abstinence based treatment programs, which have
success rates of less than 10 percent, towards such a program that allows alcoholics to enjoy a drink or

24. Crop Rotation Kierkegaard Analysis
In the essay Crop Rotation from his book Either/Or, Søren Kierkegaard discusses boredom, which he
considers to be a root of all evil. He argues that all men are boring and that we have been since the
creation of man. It is what drove so much of human history and continues to drive us today.
Kierkegaard then goes a step further and asserts that there are two types of boring people. The first is
someone who bores others, exemplified in the plebeians and the mass, and the second is someone who
bores himself, the elect and the nobility. The people that don t bore themselves, he argues, are people
who are constantly busy, and that is why they are so boring. The other type, which he calls the
superior ones, amuse others but bore themselves. The more profoundly they bore themselves, the more

Forgetting is an art that few people use properly. Forgetting is the shears with which one clips away

distractions from effective crop rotation still exist. Kierkegaard writes that one must be on one s guard
against friendship. Friendship, marriage and other social commitments distract from crop rotation
because they get boring. After falling in love, lovers have no direction to go but down, since marriage

everything to lose and nothing to gain. Successful crop rotators will not get married or pursue any
social obligation too fervently. The goal is to be able to be interested in anything, like the prisoner in
solitary confinement. An aesthete needs more and more; a good crop rotator does not. This is called

disappeared together with the bhikkhu sangha, with the invasion of Turkish Muslim through Indian
land in that period. The status of women in Buddhist monasticism is varied. Patriarchal societies and
gender values took their toll on women s institutions. Though according to mainstream doctrine
women can be enlightened, in the canonical versions of Buddhist monastic literature women are often
cast in unflattering roles. The number of vows nuns must keep is larger than that for men, and there
are specific rules that establish the subordinate status of nuns. There are some early literary
collections, the Therigatha hymns, and later writings, but there were few women writers. Women most
often did not have access to monastic education. In many countries, moreover, women s ordination

Tibet according to ancient Indian models, there were still vibrant women s communities throughout
Tibetan history. Educational standards and facilities were not as developed as in men s monasteries,

26. Differences And Fall Of The Han Dynasty And The Roman Empire
The Han Dynasty and Roman Empire both ruled for considerably long periods, spanning over four
centuries around the same time. The Zhou Dynasty, an early Chinese empire, ruled to around the
beginning of the Han Dynasty. Their government was based on feudalism; this giving power to the
rich in their society. Overextension led to the fall of their rule, leading to the rise of Confucianism and
Legalism. These beliefs along with Taoism led to the warring states period, these views leading to the
start of the Qin Dynasty and then to the Confucianist Han Dynasty. Like the beginning of the Han
Dynasty, the Roman Empire began with nobility rule. A difference would be that the Roman Republic
s fall had more to do with the tension between the classes. This leading to Julius Caesar s rule, like
Qin Shi Huangdi the Emperor of the Qin Shi Dynasty. Caesar s assassination lead to the rise of the
Roman Empire. The beginning of their regions early powers began around the same period and
spanned for around the same length, this provided for similarities between the two, such as tension
between classes, and expansion of their trade routes, a difference being the succession of leaders in
both of their governments.
Tension between classes contributed to the fall of the Han Dynasty and the Western Roman Empire.

27. What´s Supramolecular Chemistry Essay
Supramolecular chemistry actually represents a fairly simple concept. In contrast to molecular
chemistry, which is predominantly based on the covalent bonding of the atoms, supramolecular
chemistry is based up on intermolecular interactions, i.e on the association of two or more building
blocks, which are held together by intermolecular forces . When molecules get larger, they have the
ability to stick together and that allows the formation of larger assemblies of molecules that are not
bonded to one another but stick together and organize themselves, just like the pieces of the puzzle.
Supramolecular chemistry is the domain of chemistry that deals with the forces that will allow them to
stick together, which may include hydrogen bonding, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In supramolecular chemistry, host guest chemistry is one of the intresting very active field in the last
three decades. This describes complexes which were composed molecules or ions that are held
together by forces other than those of full covalent bonds. Host guest chemistry borders the inception
of molecular recognition and interactions through noncovalent bonding.Hydrogen bonds, ionic bonds,
van der Waals forces, and hydrophobic interactions are the four regularly used types of noncovalent
bondings. Host guest dynamics plays a crucial role in understanding the reaction chemistry of guest
molecules encapsulated within self assembled hosts. These molecule systems have been used as model
systems to study the fundamental principles that govern the complexation of a guest molecule to its
host.Host guest chemistry has a wide range of practical applications which are very popular in basic
laboratory research, and in pharmaceutical and food industries. Biologically it helps us to understand
the binding or association between molecules which indeed plays a fundamental role in molecular and
cellular functions. Understanding the rudimental mechanisms that govern the binding process between

people make themselves rich defends the belief that we are responsible for our own success. This
means that even if you come from an impoverished background you can change your situation for the

in charge of your own destiny. When you look at his speech and Temple current six commitments

with these similarities, there are also points that have changed and evolved to suit the needs of the

and the present day goals of the university are brought together to create Temple s mission statement.
The first commitment made by the university is its devotion to its students in serving their financial

There is a stigma behind depression that makes admitting to the disease something that people just do

On particular, The Age of Jackson changed America s political history because Jackson established
new precedents with the government s relations with Indians, the issue of state and federal rights and
also established a political rivalry. The Age of Jackson occurred during the time period from 1829 to
1837. During this time period, the United Stated of America was under the presidential term of
Andrew Jackson. Ever since Andrew Jackson s election, there was a complete transformation in the
political history of the United States. Before Andrew Jackson, who in which was the 7th president of
the United States, there had only been presidents that did nothing but follow imposes of George
Washington. The presidents were John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe and
John Quincy Adams. These presidents did not involve themselves with wars that occurred in Europe,
they had no political parties, and they did nothing about the relations with the Indians. They also kept

35. The Importance Of Social Media
Perez 1 Krystal Perez Professor Sharifian GOVT 2305 71432 October 30, 2017 Assignment Two
Social media has been radically changing the way we communicate in recent years.
For government officials, social media has become a helpful tool in outreach to its constituents. 1 Take
the 2016 U.S. Presidential Elections, for instance. Candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump used
social media, especially Twitter, as a medium to spread awareness and rally public opinion. However,
with all forms of communication, one must take caution when sending a message. Government
officials are no different than any average social media user, and they too, must use social media sites
wisely. Although social media can make a government official s job easier in communicating with
constituents, it can also be damaging to their career if one is not careful. When using social media,
government officials must think before they post, and they must think carefully when choosing
someone to manage their social media accounts.
Before one posts on social media, they must question the content and the tone of their message. This
tip is not only useful to private citizens, but for government officials as well. There are four
suggestions a government official can follow before they post on social media. First, one should
articulate, or voice out, their ideas. Second, one must choose their words and tone of voice carefully.
Third, one must keep in mind that their social media is being read by others who are not

Adults mediate children s interaction and in doing so adults need to learn the necessary tools to
helping our children handle conflict. In school and at home, it is important to help develop social
skills. Skills such as building friendships, emotional regulation, problem solving, and being supportive
are best learned at an elementary school age. Children are taught what is socially acceptable through
reward and consequence. Once children reach adolescents age, it is best to teach conflict resolution
techniques. By implementing peer mediation, the children learn how to recognize a conflict and learn
how to resolve a conflict on their own. At the middle and high school age level, it is also important to
practice respectful and positive behaviors. At this age adolescents are going through hormonal
changes and if adults focus on practicing positive respectful behaviors the habits will form and the
child will have the natural skills to interact at an adult level.
