There are several types of leadership described in the document. An intellectual leader possesses rich knowledge and technical competence, leading through specialized expertise. A creative leader encourages ideas to flow between the leader and group using circular response techniques. A persuasive leader gains faith and confidence from followers through a magnetic personality. An institutional leader becomes a leader by virtue of their position within an organization. A democratic leader is led by followers, following majority opinions. An autocratic leader dominates their group through coercion and commands with centralized authority.
Ethical leadership is directed by respect for ethical beliefs and values and for the dignity and rights of others.
Social learning theory shows how the followers of a leader identify the characteristics of leader as ethical characteristics of leader and also the situational influences.

No mention of personality traits, attributes, or even a title; there are many styles, many paths, to effective leadership

The Healthy Ageing and Prevention Index is an online tool created by ILC that ranks countries on six metrics including, life span, health span, work span, income, environmental performance, and happiness. The Index helps us understand how well countries have adapted to longevity and inform decision makers on what must be done to maximise the economic benefits that comes with living well for longer.

• He is one who dominates and drives his group through coercion and command. He institutes a
sense of fear among his followers. Such leaders love power and never delegate their authority.
